Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Shannon County

We enjoyed a sublime weekend at Morgan's place! The house was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The kitchen is a nice size and has most anything you might need. There are front and back decks, with lots of places to spend time outside enjoying the hilltop views. There's a big gas grill and a firepit with comfortable seating and plenty of firewood. The kitchen is open to the dining and living room areas, so it's a great place to cook with friends. The location is easy to find, just a few miles outside Eminence, and is super-convenient to Alley Spring and the Jack's Fork. Morgan is a great communicator and immediately took care of our request for more dishwasher pods. When we visit Eminence again, this is where we plan to stay.

Beautiful home with spacious areas to eat and play cards. Very comfortable beds. Home had everything you would need in the kitchen too.

This was the perfect little house for my of six! Very comfy with a nice yard. It rained the entire time so we got to spend lots of time inside and we were totally comfortable and accommodated. The location is very handy to get to anywhere in town you may want to go and the house was super easy to find!

It was a nice house with enough room for our extended family to be comfortable. It had two big tvs for relaxing in the evening. It also has a bbq grill although we didn't use it, along with a fire pit. Towels/washcloths are provided. I was confused a little on the check-out procedure because the airbnb site stated fewer details than the text msgs from the owner, and we didn't figure that out until we were on the road after leaving(The airbnb email stated to put the used bedding in a pile on the floor, where HER message stated to put it in the laundry basket--we felt bad that we didn't do it correctly because of two differnent things suggested). When we got there, someone had left a styrofoam take-out box with old food covered with ants on the top of the refrigerator, but we threw it away so no biggie. There were also many condiments left from other folks in the fridge which could be a good thing. Very pleasant stay and a great location!

Excellent space for a family or gathering of friends. Rustic decor, all amenities as described. The place was spotless! I’d bring your own coffee pot, theirs is a single serve. Bring your spices if you plan to cook, and, there was no blow dryer. Plenty of pillows and sheets were provided. The location is 5 minutes from Hwy 19, with the turnoff just before jacks creek bridge (turn between the bridge and the gas station, alongside the hotel.)

We absolutely loved our stay in the River Room. This is the third time we have used this family for lodging for a weekend. I WILL NOT stay anywhere else. Super clean, super friendly down to earth people. If you are making a trip to Eminence to stay you wont want to pass up this cute, clean and modern rooms they have available up!

This place was really very roomy. We had 5 different family groups and there was separate space for each family, but all connected and easy to settle in to a central gathering area (by moving one table and chairs set) The place was well supplied with basics, multiple thermostats, plenty of parking, big back yard, and easy highway access. During our stay it more or less rained the whole time we were there, but were able to visit the Big Springs park area and do some walking. The area is a place to slow down, not expect an active night life or even a pickleball tournament. I don't think we turned any of the TV's on the whole stay. There were toys already on hand for the kids, and the pool table was fun, some of us haven't played in many years. We all enjoyed the stay, can recommend it for what it is. Quiet, cozy and roomy.

Great place with private beach was wonderful stay! Very happy to find a place that allowed dogs yet clean and nice! Deck overlooking river was beautiful!

we had a blaaaast here! the place is so spacious and fun. plenty of areas to hang out at & the river side is perfect to take a quick dip.

Great cabin and lots of things to do in the area!

The cabin was cozy and quiet. We enjoyed the view outdoors, riding the side by side, and fishing. We’ll definitely come back.

This was our second time staying at Old Desperado Ranch, first time in a cabin. The cabin was clean and decorated so cute! Everything you need is provided . Great trail riding! Lisa knows the area well and guided us through some beautiful terrain! Will definitely be back!!
