What a wonderful and comfortable place to relax and enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful view. I was lucky and was able to extend my stay by a few nights. The bed is wonderful and the kitchenette is great for cooking yourself. Thank you so much Fernandes for the hospitality and the delicious products from the garden!

I spent a glorious month at Maria Celeste’s home. It was simply the best place to reset, connect with nature & rest. I’ve never been to a more peaceful home. Freshly squeezed orange juice (from trees) every morning. Lemons for water. A natural spring to swim off hiking grime. Mountains to climb surrounding the entire home. Lizard & butterfly friends. And so so quiet. Maria Celeste picked me up & drove me to the location. Taxi services available to go to town when needed. I can not recommend staying at this home more. If you need some R’n’R, stay. You won’t regret it.

The house is beautiful, comfortable, equipped, impeccable and with a view of nature that leaves us speechless. The perfect place for those seeking peace. I also need to point out that Filipa was equally incredible, an extremely welcoming and helpful host. My fiancée and I were greeted with a delicious cake, suggestions for tours and Filipa even lent us a charger, as we had forgotten ours. It was an unforgettable trip. We want to come back again!

Had a great stay! D. Fernanda e Sr. João is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with whatever was needed. The house was impeccably clean, well organized and equipped with everything we needed. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, ideal for resting and with easy access to the main points of interest in Gerês. I highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again.
