Dongchonjae is located in Seochon Village, close to Gwanghwamun Square and Gyeongbokgung Palace in the centre of Seoul. Dongchonjae, built about 100 years ago, is a traditional hanok that has been officially certified by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Korea Tourism Organisation. Dongchonjae has been operated by a retired couple who opened their home since October 2020. Dongchonjae is located on a 380.17 m² plot of land It consists of one building, and the space is the main house (Anche/Main House), Sarangchae/Detached House, and Annex. Guests have exclusive use of the Main House and the Annex. The host is in a separate building I live in Sarangchae (Detached House) and will personally assist you with necessary services such as providing breakfast. We hope you can comfortably experience the tranquil beauty and subtle atmosphere of a traditional hanok at Dongchonjae. Sungshin Hanok is divided into a main building and an annex, and each has its own separate entrance gate, which ensures privacy. The main building is a 156.8m² space used by a single group. The annex is used as a laundry room for managing bedding. Please refer to the drawing in the picture. This is a guesthouse registered as a hanok experience business! Due to the nature of Hanok, various insects may appear even if quarantine is performed. This is an inevitable natural phenomenon. It is impossible to request a refund for this matter, so please book carefully if you are sensitive to small insects.
