The most beautiful location and house we have ever booked - incredible and character-filled place in which we felt privileged to be able to stay. Photos and descriptions do not do it justice and we could barely tear ourselves away to explore the rest of the island. Hosts were kind and helpful and a pleasure to meet, amenities were great and the privacy and tranquility unparalleled. We only wished we had been able to stay longer and would happily return.

Everything was as expected, just as the photos and previous reviews. We got a personal welcome as well, which was extra special as the rain was the worst we had seen in ages! The apartment had everything we needed, the views out were amazing and we loved it. Lake Iseo surpassed expectations and the apartment is a perfect place to stop when exploring this region. Beautiful experience. The house is very cozy and clean, equipped with every comfort. The view is fabulous. Mauro is a friendly and helpful host, he gave me several tips about the area and they all turned out to be great. We'll definitely be back

We had a great stay and the place is well equipped with cooking supplies. We appreciated the artwork throughout and homey touches. Bed & pillows were comfortable! The views around the building are lovely. Things to note: there are 3 flights of stairs to get up to the apartment. The bus system on the island can be a little obtuse to figure out (or the small bus gets filled up on arrival). We ended up walking to the place which was a pleasant walk (although steep at times) and not for the faint of heart. There are 2 bus stops nearby the apartment however, we just didn’t want to wait. The walk to the trash bins is fairly far and involves stairs (or some sloping paths) down the cliffside. Not a big deal, but if mobility is a concern it’s something to be aware of. Our twin toddlers stayed too and everything went smoothly.

We had a great time on the island in Roberto's apartment. He was accessible throughout and very helpful. The view from the terrace was fantastically beautiful. Our kids thought the pool and cable car were best for going up.

Great place in a beautiful setting in the middle of olive trees with a remarkable view of the lake and surrounding mountains! There's nothing better for a quiet stay. Bikes and kayaks are a real plus to enjoy the island and lake! A little unfortunate that you have to pay extra to have a minimum of 15 degrees in the property. But other than that everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay at Lara's place. Occasionally we will gladly go back!!
