Her finner du nydelig turterreng like utenfor hyttedøra, med mange fjelltopper å bestige, som f.eks. Astridtind og Kvannaksla hvor du kan starte turen rett fra hytta. Om vinteren er det flotte skiløyper her og du kan starte turen fra hytta. Koselig uteområde med gapahuker inkl brensel for bålkos.
