This place is exceptional- huge and beautiful home, pristine, gorgeous inside and out. The pool and terraces are really special, the sea view is beautiful. The hosts were so friendly, efficient and helpful, the guards always there and really helpful. The housekeepers did an excellent job and were really amiable. This is a great location to explore Dakar and its surroundings - out of the city centre but easy enough to get in, and the motorway is a 5 minute drive. Somone lagoon is a must-see. Thank you so much for a wonderful base for our holiday.

Highly recommended place! Situated far enough out in the bush to have Your peace and quiet, but at the same time close enough to the village and the beach to get there within 15 to 20min walking distance. The room with the ensuite bathroom was just fabulous. The cleanliness extraordinary since the room was cleaned every day. Malika's kitchen was free to use at leisure and one always was welcome to have a chat or even share meals at her table - the real African 'teranga'! The solar powered electricity and the fully equipped European toilet added to the comfort out in the bush. Although one can enjoy his privacy, the place is at the same time ideal for groups and there is enough space. It even was possible to take some private Kora lessons there and apparently soon Yoga retreats will be taking place there.

Gnagna's place was lovely. We had a whole house, everthing was very clean, the house was roomy and comfortable, Gnagna and her son were great host and hostess, they were both vey attentive and accomodating to any concerns that we had. We had a very positive experience and we highly recommend this house for anyone visiting Dakar, Senegal. We would definitely stay there again.

Kady is een geweldige host, evenals de conciërge en de bewaker. Kady reageert snel op vragen en is heel behulpzaam en gastvrij. Bij aankomst stond er fruit, flessen water, brood en jam. Heel fijn als je midden in de nacht aankomt. Ook onze late en vertraagde aankomst was geen probleem. Het appartement is echt geweldig: modern met een Senegalese touch en van alle gemakken voorzien. Zwembad is klein, maar mooi en wordt goed onderhouden. Uitzicht vanaf dakterras is heel mooi en balkon is ruim en heeft een leuk uitzicht op de rustige straat. Ondanks het feit de gemiddelde taxichauffeur moeite had met het vinden van de locatie (uiteindelijk kwamen we er altijd ;-)) hebben we genoten van het appartement!

Augustin's place is located in a great area of the city, not on the island but a quick 20 minute walk away. Located near shops, the water, and lots of food options, Augustin's place is a nice base to explore Saint-Louis. Hope I get to stay there again!

The stay at Minouche was great :-) she was a lovely host and answered all my questions. Even though we had a language barrier she tried to always help and made me feel very welcomed in her home

Un vrai coup de cœur ! L’appartement est idéalement situé, très propre, et on s’y sent tout de suite bien. Vous avez été d’une grande gentillesse et attentionnée tout au long du séjour. Merci pour les délicieux petits-déjeuners avec jus d’orange chaque matin, c’était un vrai plaisir. Tout est à proximité, ce qui rend le séjour encore plus agréable. Merci encore pour votre réactivité et votre accueil. Je recommande les yeux fermés !

Ibrahima nous a très bien accueillis, il est même passé nous chercher avec sa voiture personnelle. L'appartement est spacieux, très bien équipé (cuisine, plusieurs téléviseurs !), très propre, et toutes les pièces sont climatisées. L'emplacement est pratique, tout près de la gare routière liberté 5 et d'un supermarché auchan. Je recommande fortement !

The airbnb was perfect for our 5 day stay in Dakar. Didier and his wife were very welcoming and helped us plan out our activities in Dakar. I would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay at Auberge La Praline in Toubakouta. The accommodation was simple but clean and pleasant, and very spacious. The pool was wonderful and the kids loved playing in it. Above all there was a friendly atmosphere and this is a relatively small and intimate place to stay. Toubakouta is a beautiful small town and well worth a visit, but the expert suggestions of Yéyé (apologies if i've spelt it wrong) about what to do and offers to help arranging excursions, drivers, boat tours are well worth your time. All the staff were helpful, friendly and laid back and we really enjoyed our stay here.

Les 3 jours passer chez l’hôte Didier a été une expérience très bénéfique, pour une premier dans le sud du Sénégal , a été extraordinaire suite à l’accueil chaleureux les petit déjeuner l’intention donner par Didier est extraordinaire pour vous dire que cette première expérience avec Didier a été bénéfique et je vous sollicite de tester et vous ne serez pas déçu du passage. Merci à Didier pour cette expérience.

j'ai passé 3 jours exceptionnel grâce à mon hôte Fatou. la maison est magnifique et la chambre était parfaite. Aussi, Fatou ma fait des repas et des petits déjeuners délicieux et servis sur la terrasse. Elle m'a aussi proposer des super activités : pêche, balade du Delta et cours de cuisine. Merci encore pour tout.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Bernard en Sandy. Ze zijn super gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het eten was super! De huisjes zijn prima en de pool was groot en lekker verkoelend. Het Bandia reservaat is op loopafstand, net als de Bandia Ranch en Acro Baobab. Een plek om lekker tot rust te komen.

L’espace était très calme et agréable, parfait pour se reposer. Martine est une hôte très amicale, disponible et chaleureuse. Elle donne des instructions très claires, ce qui facilite vraiment l’arrivée et le séjour. Je recommande vivement !

Très bonne communication avec Pierre et Astou, j'ai facilement trouvé le logement en arrivant à Dakar grâce a leurs instructions. Emplacement assez stratégique pas loin de la corniche en voiture (10 mn) et du Monument de la Renaissance Africaine. Bon petit dejeuner.

Logement bien situé dans un quartier tranquille de Saint-Louis, et qui permet de se rendre dans le centre et sur l’île facilement à pied. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Bamba, le fils de Marie, fut très accueillant et de bon conseil. Je recommande fortement !
