This location is beautiful! Right on the lake. Easy to go down the stairs to the water. Randall was an excellent host and very responsive. The home is lovely and well kept. We had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect! We used the canoe and kayaks and had a wonderful time on the lake. We would most definitely rent this again and we’ll keep it on our list! Highly recommend!

The lake house was absolutely beautiful. The view was stunning and entirely relaxing. We went for a thirtieth birthday wine weekend in April and it was so much fun. The location was prime location on Seneca Lake, close to Herman J Wiemer, Toast, and Magnus Ridge. It is a prime location on the Seneca lake. We adored the hot tub and it comfortably fit 5 of us, maybe even 6-7 . We used the fire pit, the patio, and all amenities. When showering, we advise only one going at a time due to shifting in temperature. The hosts were extremely attentive and responsive to all of our messages! Thanks again for a great first time in the finger lakes. We’d love to come back. The house is spacious and very homey with plenty of cooking supplies available.

We really enjoyed our time at the Peppermint Cottage. It was freezing cold and snowy when we got there and it made us feel instantly warm and cosy when we walked in and a fire was already going in that beautiful fireplace! It was a quiet and peaceful location, and we enjoyed a quiet nights rest. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!

Location, location, location! Right on the water, hot tub was great, comfortable place and it was just perfect for us. We loved the local wineries and other activities and it was so nice to come back to that beautiful lake view at the end of the day. Thanks so much Nick and Chrissy! We would love to come back one day.

We had a great time at Diane's place. Diane and Tom gave us a warm welcome and were very responsive and communicative before and during our stay. They also had plenty of recommendations on things to do. The hot tub was a major plus! Overall, would highly recommend if you're planning to stay in the area. We primarily went to visit Watkins Glen, which was just about 20 minutes away.

Really cool spot, enjoyed the walk to the lake and the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay there again

This host went above and beyond with details and everything was exactly as described. The home was extremely clean, which for a clean freak like me-is wonderful! Lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and flexible. Beautiful place to stay inside and the view of Lake Ontario is spectacular on the outside! Hope to go again sometime before summer is over!

We had an amazing stay at this airbnb! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. The place is exactly as described, Alec and his manager were very responsive and flexible, making the checking in process so smooth. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning overlooking the lake and have some hazelnut coffee provided at the airbnb. The airbnb itself had everything we needed including extra towels, drinking water (as the host listed that the tap water is lake water so it was nice of them to provide water filter) and throw blankets to cozy up on the couch. Overall, amazing stay!

Beautiful location, house was just the right size, my sisters and I had a great time despite the rain and chilly temperatures. Loved that the house was right on the water.

Lovely place right on Seneca Lake. I was here with a group of 5 and there was plenty of space for us. Nicely designed and very cozy with the fire!

Annie’ cootage was great! Spacious, clean, quiet, and easy to get to the wineries in the Finger Lakes. Amazing views of Cayuga Lake were to be had from the dock, fire pit, and even in bed as the place faces east allowing the morning sun to fill up the place. The bed is comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the kitchen and outdoor grill served our needs thoroughly. My wife and I would stay here again with our dogs.

Place is described exactly as Vic says. The small bathroom will be an issue for someone over 6' tall. There is only one dresser, but there are plenty of hangers and places to hang things. The sunsets are fantastic. We got very acclimated to the place very quickly. It was enjoyable sitting on the deck and watching the world go by very slowly. Lots of birds were around on the lake and nearby. Visiting Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge is a must. The Aurora Inn walk was great and the Aurora farmers market is fun. Enjoy !!

Cottage number 2.: The cottages are located within a very nice campground on Seneca Lake. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and delivered firewood.The Cottage has a private lakefront with a dock which is separate from the campground. The water is clear and shallow. I would recommend bringing supportive shoes to walk up and down the staircase to the lake. The location is absolutely amazing. It is in the middle of the Seneca Lake Wine Trail. There is lots to do nearby such as child and dog friendly wineries , breweries and an impressive creamery. The campsite cottage is actually off of a road to an interesting winery on the lake. It was full of historical information- they engaged my 10 yr old by asking him questions about the home and what he noticed- pointing out facts such as the tax on windows in the 1800’s. Bring all of your creature comforts from home. Jared is wonderful and responsive. We planned accordingly from reviews- didn’t have any leash law issues. Close to state parks

Great stay with friends on the lake for girlfriends birthday…a little rainy but her and I took the pedal boat out as soon as we got there. Lots of amenities in the house and movie projector and fireplace are fun. Went to Watkins Glen and nearby Taughannock state park. Lots of beautiful places to see and good options for food and drink and fun with friends around. Very beautiful we would visit again thank you Janice !

We went for a wine tasting weekend. The cottage is central on Seneca Lake. Although not on the lake, you can walk to the lake. We had our eerie with us and there was a small fenced in dog park across the street which was great. The cottage was nicely decorated. Also, basics such as pans, paper towels, baggies, etc were well stocked. It’s a great place for 2- 4 people.

We stayed at Sharon’s lake house for a long weekend and it was wonderful. The place was very clean & was in a good location. We enjoyed kayaking and having breakfast on the deck every morning overlooking Seneca Lake. There were lots of great wineries & breweries near by and great restaurants as well. I would highly recommend.

We could not have asked for a better host or location for our weekend getaway with friends. The leaves were at peak Autumn colors, and being so close to the lake and nature (and wineries!) was exactly how we had hoped to spend our time!

We had a wonderful stay. Lucas‘s house was very clean and had plenty of supplies. There was plenty of room for five of us. It never felt crowded. The view of the lake was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire-pit at night was nice. The neighborhood was very quiet. Lucas was great at communicating. We loved our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay loved the area and the wonderful wineries will definitely be coming back. So much to do in the immediate area. Their recommendations were some of the best wineries we tried.

This place was exactly what we needed after a hectic few months of moving. It is very quiet, peaceful and yet homey. Judith was very communicative throughout the entire process making sure we had everything we needed. They even went above and beyond and had a “surprise” for us one night. Although it was very rainy our entire weekend being able to sit inside and look out to the water through the big windows was amazing. We definitely want to come back and visit and enjoy the lake when the weather is nicer. Thank you for an amazing stay! We will be back!

Wow - what a fantastic lakeside retreat! There must be 6 different places to sit/gather outside - the fire table was especially nice for sipping some Riesling on a chilly night. Well equipped kitchen, and lots of amenities (including kayaks if so inclined). Very quiet surroundings (we were there during the week-end, too), but you have to watch out for the seagulls - they like to hang out on the deck. Great location is within 1/2 hour of many excellent wineries and restaurants. Would definitely return here the next time we are in FLX!

We loved our stay at Lisa’s cozy cottage! Lisa was super helpful- even left us a welcome bottle of wine! The dock is a lovely place to sit down on the lake.
