I created this accommodation because I wish there was a place like this. ☆This is not a hotel. We want you to think about how you want to spend your time. On sunny days, enjoy morning coffee on the large wooden deck. In the cold winter, warm up with a wood stove, and make and eat a delicious meal yourself. Play your favorite music, and read surrounded by books lining the walls. Take a walk to Gero Station while catching a glimpse of life in Gero. Fishing at sea, picking azaleas, bamboo shoots, and wild potatoes in the mountains, and eating them yourself. Long stays are recommended. Based at Shimonada Cabin, it is about an hour's drive to Matsuyama City. 2.5 hours to Shimanto River. 3 hours to Shikoku Karst. Shopping can be done in Iyo City or Nagahama Town, or you can buy from local fishmongers and greengrocers and cook for yourself. Of course, you can also eat at a nearby restaurant if you book. Anyway, I want you to relax at Shimonada Cabin. One night is too wasteful. I recommend at least 2 days. It is a place that can be enjoyed in good weather or bad.

We have a Masato Hino Gallery where you can enjoy collaborative works of tanka and photos, as well as watercolor paintings and line drawings that metaphorically depict a mysterious animal society. The nearest spot is a 20-minute drive from Matsuyama Airport 10-minute drive from Iyo Interchange 10-minute walk from JR Iyohokuda Station We will pick you up and drop you off at the nearest station (Iyo Yokota Station) at a possible time and number of people. Dogo Onsen, Matsuyama Castle, the sea, mountains, zoo, and park are all within a 30-minute drive. The fully electric, barrier-free, and wheelchair-accessible interior is safe for small children. There is a pond and field on the 1000 square meter property, and you can catch medaka (during the summer, they hibernate in the winter). Please look at the moon and stars at night and heal your mind. We provide home-grown rice. You can prepare ingredients and make dinner. Great for groups, solo travelers, families with children, and everyone else. Long stays are also recommended.

A house in the middle of a forest. Enjoy mountain life in one of the few magnificent old houses built by Miyadaiku. At the house at the end of a fairytale forest road, you can BBQ, make a fire, boil a Goemon bath, and enjoy natural play that can only be experienced in the mountains. There are no street lights, and at night you can see the starry sky. Spending time feeling the mountain with all your senses, which can be seen in different ways depending on the season, reminds you of the rich, peaceful time that has been forgotten in modern times. Centered on a magnificent large pillar, it is an old house with earthen walls and built-in storage, but the first floor is covered with pure cedar boards, giving it a new feel. The water area features a newly built island kitchen and a large wash basin. The bath is a Goemon bath that uses both wood and gas, so you can cook with wood or use hot water. Outside the house, there is a friendly sign cat named Aosuke, who will come up to you if you are outside. It is located about 15 minutes by car from the Ishikari Mountain ropeway, making it easy to get to the mountains.

Built with a good old Japanese traditional structure, this old house, about 70 years old, has a stairwell beams, earthen walls and stucco, a Japanese-style room that leads to a wide earthen floor, and a Goemon bath. It is a house with the sea in front of it, behind the Shiojidokudo restaurant, and a convenience store is 30 seconds away on foot. Of course, the whole house is rented out.We can accommodate up to 6 people. The sea is beautiful, and the mountains are also beautiful in Shimonada. There is a small private beach in front of the house.I think those who love nature will enjoy it. It is also easy to access the famous Aoshima on Nekoshima.　 Anyone can enjoy it, whether traveling alone, as a couple, or as a family.

Relax in this newly reformed house located walking distance from the city hospital, restaurants, convenience stores, electronics store, drug stores and even hardware stores. We have been asked many times to accommodate 7 people. Yes, we can do that. However, you must pay the extra guest fee which is ¥4500. Please mention that you would like us to accommodate 7 people when you make a reservation. We will send a special offer for you to complete the reservation and allow your group to stay.

This house was designed mainly for foreigners.

The owner lives outside the prefecture and uses it as a vacation home. We cherish the extraordinary space by decorating with paintings and furnishings that give you a taste of Japanese culture. I will welcome you as a valued guest who can come to my private home, so face-to-face check-in and common sense conversation and interaction are required. Wifi is available. A parking lot is also provided. Transportation is not convenient in the mountainous area, so please go out by car if possible.

Just 15 minutes by car to Shimanto City shopping and restaurants and an easy drive to Shimanto River or the beach, this house is a great base for exploring the area and an oasis of relaxation after a busy day of sightseeing.
