Family-friendly holiday rentals in Seillac

A wonderful family weekend in this fabulous place! There's nothing missing! The cottage is superb, the environment is perfect. We were lucky enough to have great sunshine, which allowed us to fully enjoy the pool and garden. Close to places of interest. We had a great time at Christophe's place. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the cleanliness, the location to visit the castles of the Loire and the amenities (especially those for our baby as if we were at home and the hot tub that allowed us to rest well)! We recommend it without hesitation!

Small house, clean, practical, nothing missing. The owners are easily reachable and help as much as they can in the event of any problems. The hot tub was extra. The pool area is pleasant and well appointed. Very well located, it allows you to make magnificent visits nearby: Chambord, the Château de Villesavin, Cheverny, the activities of Le Loisirs Loire Valley, rent bicycles,… With our 3-year-old child, it was a great destination.

We loved our stay at Nathalie's. The caravan was well equipped and comfortable. The kids loved the pools and waterslides, which even though the weather was chilly on the day we were there, were heated outside to 27 degrees. Very nice! Nathalie was responsive and very lovely to communicate with.

Just returned from a short stay at a truly unique and historic manor house tucked in the French countryside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like stepping back in time. The host has beautifully preserved the original interiors—complete with antique furnishings and fabric-covered walls—giving the home so much character and charm. The kitchen, however, is thoughtfully updated and well-stocked with everything needed to cook wonderful meals while soaking in the beauty of the setting. We wish we had more time to simply relax and take it all in!

Great cottage very well located in the area in relation to castles and zoo. The view of nature from the veranda is just amazing and allows you to rest in peace. Tastefully decorated and well-equipped house for the whole family. Our daughter and our dog and ourselves were very delighted. We would definitely recommend this property.

Chantal’s place was beautiful. Lovely furnishings and decor. The view was unbelievable and both rooms were equally comfortable. The sound of the Loire going under the bridge lulled you to sleep. The quality of the bedding was top notch! We enjoyed meeting Chantal and loved her energy. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Frédéric's. The space was spacious and very clean. The beds had been prepared in advance. Check in time was flexible. Frédéric was also accommodating and communicative. We recommend their place.

Their accommodation is very well equipped with a very nice outdoor area, petanque, table tennis, relaxing deckchair, etc... I highly recommend this cottage, and we will surely return there one day. This place was Spacious; very Spacious for just my husband and I. Loved It!! Walking distance for a lot of stores and restaurants. If You really want to treat yourself go to Le Reserve-it was amazing!! Get the Apple for dessert. Eating at and living near the Clock Tower and an easy walk to the Chateau d’ Amboise was perfect. Take a cold bottle of water if you’re walking to Leonardo Di Vinci’s home. It’s worth the walk, but it is a workout, especially with no Cold Water. The chime on the Clock Tower at the 1/2 hr made me smile. Reminded me I was in France every-time! I think it stopped at 6 pm daily. I would not only return I would live here!! Merci

Great welcome by our host in the accommodation, great location! What a pleasure to find some delicious homemade cake after our bike ride! Roselyne is lovely, very responsive and very helpful following an oversight on our part. It would be a real pleasure to go back!

Fantastic, ongoing stay at Le Nid.

We loved every second of our stay, the property is beautiful inside and out. Eliane and Christoph were there to greet us and walk us around the home, showing us how everything worked! They left us with some wonderful local wine and cheese which we all enjoyed of an evening. The surrounding countryside and gardens are stunning with plenty of wild flowers and birds, also very peaceful! We very much look forward to visiting Eliane and Christoph again in the near future.

Great stay under the sun. The pool and the large outdoor table are great. The children had everything they needed to have fun. The hens had little chicks during our stay, to the delight of the children. I highly recommend this listing There are also many visits and walks to do nearby.

We had a pleasant stay at Celine's. She is a particularly welcoming host who provides valuable tips for enjoying the surroundings. The accommodation is comfortable, well-equipped and the indoor pool appreciable after visits. We'd love to come back.

We had a great stay in this beautiful old mill. The place is very peaceful and superb. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Large swimming pool to relax after a bike ride along the Loire. Excellent welcome from Frédéric. We recommend this place.

We stayed here for a week with a group of 12 and found the home to be perfectly sized. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out if wanted and still enough spaces for us all to come together. The grounds and area in general are stunning and very peaceful. You absolutely need a car to get around to anything. The nearest towns are small and charming and Tours is only about 40min away. It's important to note the second floor has 2 showers, so the bedrooms with the single beds (pink and green) must share with the turquoise room, or walk through the blue room to use theirs. The water is hot but the top floor has low pressure if anyone else is showering. The house and furnishings show their age but it's very comfortable and charming. All of Pierre's recommendations were lovely - we did the carriage ride and hired a private chef (Morgan) both with great success. I would definitely recommend the stay again it was such a relaxing week and a great hub to all the Loire chateaux.

A paradise! Wonderful terrace on the edge of the forest, where we ate meals. A beautiful well-maintained pool invited you to swim. Jasmine scent and flowering perennials as well as a vegetable garden are on the property. Evelyn and Pierre were warm and always approachable hosts. Horses, dogs and chickens provide company on the old Rosen über säten estate. Would love to come again.
