Holiday rentals with lake access in Seeland District

We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hiking; and ideal starting point for visiting many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had a visit from a fox); on the edge of the marsh. Philipp was a kind and attentive host to us. We recommend this property. Sylvain and Elisabeth

The house is located on Lake Murten, in a small forested area. We enjoyed the direct access to the lake and the tranquility. Thank you very much, we'll be happy to come back.

Had a great stay - everything worked out. The hosts live right next door and were very helpful with information and yet never intrusive. The house is superbly equipped with everything you need. We lacked nothing. On foot, it's really only 5 minutes to a great sandy beach, where there was plenty of space. We will be happy to come back!

It is a gorgeous and very calm place to stay. It looks exactly like the pictures! Lake is nearby, you can reach after 10 min walk, also very clean and well maintained, water is very clear, perfect for families with children. I can only recommend it! Hopefully we can spend some nice days there again ☺️🥂

Our family of 4 really enjoyed staying at Tobias’s place! The view of the river was gorgeous, the place was very clean and modern, plus there was a lot of space for our family to spread out in. Tobias gave us some excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, as well as places to eat. We rented a car and spent most of our time on day trips outside of town, but also attended some of his recommendations. The instructions to get in to the place were perfectly laid out. He is quick to respond and tries hard to see that your stay a good one. For example, we were a little bit on the warm side so he brought a second fan for us to use the very next day. Tobias is a very good host and we would highly recommended staying there.

Modern artitecture and interior design, Miraculous view of the lake, splendid view overall. I definitely recommend to anyone who’s planning to stay.

The location of the apartment is excellent. Coop, bakeries and restaurants are nearby. In addition, the public transport connection is very convenient and easily accessible. We definitely recommend this apartment! Dominique was very communicative and helpful.

Kenans apartment is very clean and well organised with lots of storage space for an extended stay. The location is in a quiet area close to the canal and Lake Biel and is ideal if you enjoy water sports. Kenan was a very welcoming host who is anxious to ensure his guests have an enjoyable stay. I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to all visitors.

We had 5 great days. The apartment is well equipped and has a fantastic view! Especially for our little daughter, the amenities were perfect. We will be happy to come back.

Lovely flat outside city center but close to grocery shops, the river and the lake. We loved the quiet location and to take care of Nils the housekeeper cat 🐈 the bed is not for sensitive people as it makes a little bit of noise when turning around and the mattress isn't too soft either. But we were so pleased about our staying that we didn't mind too much about. Jaya was very kind and helped us when needed and also very reactive on the phone. We recommend the place 🌿

Iris is a very warm host. She welcomed us personally and took enough time to explain the finer points of the modern apartment to us. She showed a lot of responsiveness to special requests and also responded quickly and easily to inquiries in the following days. We were very comfortable in the well-furnished, bright apartment right on the lake - although we unfortunately got three foggy days. Fortunately, there are many sunny mountain inns in the surrounding area.

A very pleasant and well located stay where really everything was present. very friendly host a very good bed.

We have already stayed with Paloma in the chalet twice and we liked it very much and felt comfortable! We can recommend the chalet and the location is great! Unfortunately, we had to take a mattress with us again this year because our children are too small to sleep alone on the upper floor as it is only accessible via an external staircase! A warm beach cottage with a beautiful private garden. The cottage is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need for holidays with children. On foot you are in max. 10 minutes on the beautiful beach of Gletterens.

The Bijou is something very special at the Mortensee. The location is superb, the lake is beautiful and the Bijou comes with its own jetty Just perfect

We enjoyed beautiful autumn days in the cottage on the lake. Even on cold days, it can be heated quickly and easily with electric radiators. It has good functional amenities and was clean. Only the mattresses are very uncomfortable, but that's a matter of course. 😀
