Holiday rentals with lake access in See District

We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hiking; and ideal starting point for visiting many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had a visit from a fox); on the edge of the marsh. Philipp was a kind and attentive host to us. We recommend this property. Sylvain and Elisabeth

We were allowed to spend a week in Patricia's cozy chalet. The lake is easily accessible on foot. The house and garden are very well maintained. Perfect for us, even with the kids.

Christine's house is a real haven of peace, with a beautiful garden where the children were able to play while the adults enjoyed themselves. Close to shops (Coop, bakery) as well as trains and boats, this house was very convenient and well located. 15-20 minutes from the beach on foot (with children). The beds were good quality and there was everything you needed for a pleasant stay. I recommend this warm and comfortable place.

It is a gorgeous and very calm place to stay. It looks exactly like the pictures! Lake is nearby, you can reach after 10 min walk, also very clean and well maintained, water is very clear, perfect for families with children. I can only recommend it! Hopefully we can spend some nice days there again ☺️🥂

We enjoyed the quaint, cozy chalet very much. The garden is amazing! We were allowed to help ourselves to the fresh fruit in the garden. When we needed support, Benny helped us immediately. There was only one small downside. The sofa bed was made up for us in the living room. It took a little getting used to and the sleeping comfort was not particularly good. We would prefer a real bed. All in all, however, a top place to stay.

This lakeside house is a gem! The house is tastefully & practically furnished, the garden is large and wonderful for playing! There are 2 SUPs as well as a pedal boat, ping-pong table with rackets, a gas grill... simply awesome! But the wonderful terrace directly above the lake is also unique. In the morning, having breakfast there and enjoying the lake, with duck families swimming by...a dream. We are always drawn there. Thank you!

Charming apartment with large terrace, very tasteful and lovingly furnished. We enjoyed the view of the adjacent horse paddock and the beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, the sauna and the really charming hosts. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

We had a great weekend at Vincent's place! Everything was exactly as described: a cozy apartment, very clean and well-equipped, with an absolutely magnificent view of the lake and the Alps. The location is perfect, next to the bus stop (10 min. from the city centre) and very convenient small shops. The exchanges with Vincent were simple, friendly and efficient. We felt immediately comfortable and enjoyed the beach a few steps away. Again, thank you for this beautiful break, we'll be back with pleasure!

After having moved away over 30 years ago, returning to Nidau with my family and staying at Dominique’s Airbnb made the experience truly special. The home is cozy, well-equipped, and ideally located to enjoy the local shops and within easy walking distance to Biel, the lake, and beautiful river paths. Dominique was a thoughtful and responsive host, and the stay brought back so many memories while creating new ones for the next generation. Highly recommended!

My family and I were very well received by Mr. Hannes , a wonderful and friendly person always available to help , his home very clean and welcoming with everything we need! Thank you Kevin for a very prompt response when we messaged at short notice in the evening to stay that same night. Everything was good and it was great that the bar was next door and open till late for pizza and beer as we arrived late after a long day touring on our motorbikes. Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay. Bolia was great to deal with. Even though we didn't speak each others languages we could communicate via Airbnb, Whats App and text messages easily. The combination of an old building and modern but not too modern interior was fantastic. Really peaceful and comfortable. Across the road from the chocolate factory but couldn't hear any noise. Nice walk up to Broc for the Coop, bakery etc. for supplies. Easy bus journey to Gruyere and the H R Giger museum and bar etc.

We have already stayed with Paloma in the chalet twice and we liked it very much and felt comfortable! We can recommend the chalet and the location is great! Unfortunately, we had to take a mattress with us again this year because our children are too small to sleep alone on the upper floor as it is only accessible via an external staircase! The check-in was very easy and comfortable and everything was ready, the place is spacious and the view outside is amazing and there are sitting areas and the view of Lake Thun is beautiful and the place is quiet and Aisha's communication is excellent and she takes the initiative and responds to your needs, I recommend this place and of course I will come back again.

We were able to enjoy 5 days in this great accommodation. The accommodation is clean and you feel at home. The garden was a little paradise. The host is very friendly and responds very quickly. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful Lake Murten.
