Holiday rentals with lake access in Fribourg

Our stay at this wonderful house was absolutely incredible, exceeding all expectations. The house is not only extremely comfortable but also even better than the photos suggest. Every single detail has been thoughtfully considered, making it a truly well-equipped and inviting home. We spent two wonderful weeks here and felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. The amenities, cleanliness, and cozy atmosphere made our stay effortless and enjoyable. Gary, is outstanding—responsive, generous, and genuinely kind. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His attentiveness added so much to the experience. Kudos to this amazing place and host! Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

Charming apartment with large terrace, very tasteful and lovingly furnished. We enjoyed the view of the adjacent horse paddock and the beautiful nature in the immediate vicinity, the sauna and the really charming hosts. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

Karine’s place was exactly ss advertised. Clean, comfortable and very well appointed. The view from the terasse is glorious and we appreciated the possibility to park our car in the garage. Karin is great host - instructions and info were clear (she even made the effort to translate it to our, not very common language!), she was very responsive, we even got a welcome gift from her - bottle of wine, some local specialties and treats for kids etc. Overall, we were very satisified with our stay at Karine’s place. The only thing to mention is that there is no airconditioning in the appartment, so it can get a bit warm.

Excellent place, magnificent location.

We immediately felt at home. The arrival was flexible, clear and the apartment inside very nice. It also had coffee, honey and toilet paper. The neighbours are very accommodating. The location is great, 2 minutes to the lake. With a very nice shore, plenty of space for various activities such as jogging, swimming, volleyball... The only thing that partially bothered me was the noise of the traffic. At night it was very quiet. Happy to come back! Just a pity that the house will be rebuilt in autumn.

Five months have passed in the blink of an eye... Yet, in this magical place, time seems to stand still. Friendly and always present hosts made every moment enjoyable. A big thank you to them! You can book this beautiful new and well-equipped studio without a second thought. But most importantly, remember to open them to savor the view.

Very good accommodation, everything was very clean, both Maurizio and Marta were very friendly and very attentive if we needed anything. Very good internet and there were adapters for everything. Very full kitchen and great views, very nice and quiet place.

I love this airbnb! The place is super spacious and clean! There was a washing machine to wash our clothes and clothes hanging to dry them. Although it is not near the train station, it is near a bus stop - about 5 mins walk. The surrounding is beautiful to explore. Our host is super responsive and friendly. He also let us know the check in instructions in advanced so check in was seamless! I will definitely choose this airbnb if I am staying in Montreux again!

Valerie was a great host. This was my second time staying here and I would stay again. The neighborhood and city are safe. The Bahnhof Restaurant across from the train station has good food and reasonably priced. It is close to Valerie’s place. Three blocks from the trainstation to the Airbnb. I highly recommend this place.

Great place to stay. Bolia was great to deal with. Even though we didn't speak each others languages we could communicate via Airbnb, Whats App and text messages easily. The combination of an old building and modern but not too modern interior was fantastic. Really peaceful and comfortable. Across the road from the chocolate factory but couldn't hear any noise. Nice walk up to Broc for the Coop, bakery etc. for supplies. Easy bus journey to Gruyere and the H R Giger museum and bar etc.

We have already stayed with Paloma in the chalet twice and we liked it very much and felt comfortable! We can recommend the chalet and the location is great! Unfortunately, we had to take a mattress with us again this year because our children are too small to sleep alone on the upper floor as it is only accessible via an external staircase! A warm beach cottage with a beautiful private garden. The cottage is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you might need for holidays with children. On foot you are in max. 10 minutes on the beautiful beach of Gletterens.

The Bijou is something very special at the Mortensee. The location is superb, the lake is beautiful and the Bijou comes with its own jetty Just perfect

We were able to enjoy 5 days in this great accommodation. The accommodation is clean and you feel at home. The garden was a little paradise. The host is very friendly and responds very quickly. In a few minutes you can reach the beautiful Lake Murten.
