Beachfront holiday rental in Sedgemoor

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

A very clean and comfortable stay. The house and gardens were immaculately presented. We felt right at home and had a relaxing stay. The house is located in a quiet street. You can be on a beach in 5 mins walk and the famous Barry island beach is a lovely coastal stroll away. We came on a Gavin and Stacey Pilgrimage. The house was the ideal base for a family holiday, giving us plenty of space to chill out in. The welcome treats were a very kind gift.

Lovely clean, roomy and homely apartment. Chris extremely helpful and happy to share her knowledge of the local area. We couldn’t have chosen a nicer apartment for our stay .

Perfect location if you want access to all the local walks and right on the beach, Lovely clean and tidy equipped with everything we needed, ideal for family’s with young children, single beds a bit small for adults, but I managed for a few nights, local pub does great Sunday roast Staff in the cafe and hotel very welcoming and helpfuli would recommend and will visit again in the future Thankyou Peter & Francis

Beer itself is a lovely little village and the caravan is out of the village up a hill. The photos don't do the view justice and with a full moon out on our stay really made it something. The caravan was exactly as described, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. We didn't cook when we were there but we ate in The Anchor Pub and then had fish and chips from the village but the kitchen had everything. It was cosy, comfortable and being at the top of the park gave the best views when walking to and from the village. Look in every cupboard and you'll find so much to watch and play. If you do want to use the wii take some batteries or a battery charger as there are some rechargeable ones already there. We didn't eat at the Bistro onsite but it is very popular. The shop is small and did not stock a lot of stuff when we were there but there is a general store in the village or a 10min drive takes you to Seaton for a Tesco or Aldi. Dog loved it there too. Had a great time.

Very easy to find. Near beaches and amenities. Plenty to do in West Bay although it's very small. Lots of good walks near by. Perfect for a long weekend. Property was as described. Small green.area rofrint is good for sitting out on too.

Very cozy little cottage near the waterfront. Clean and comfortable, nicely updated. Host was very communicative. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful day at the seaside. So glad we decided to hire Rachel's beach hut for the day.We were very lucky to be able to meet Rachel and to hear the history of the hut. It's a really special place where you can take time to relax.The hut was extremely well appointed and has everything you need for a day at the seaside,from all the tea and coffee making facilities,to an extremely comfortable day bed with soft cushions to have a little nap.Very atmospheric,well appointed and scrupulously clean. we took advantage of the local fish and chip shop which was first rated. my mother and father in law joined us in the afternoon and they loved it too. Our little Yorkie Max enjoyed himself people and dog watching as the beach that the hut is situated on is dog friendly all year round. Car parking right behind the hut was an additional bonus no lugging picnic hampers up the hills in Lyme.Close to all the shops along the sea front and a fantastic view of the harbor and the Cobb.

Gemma’s Airbnb is lovely. It made a perfect temporary home and we are gutted we could not stay any further. You get beautiful sea views. The bedrooms are great sizes. The showers were nice and strong. The kitchen is amazing. Gemma’s response time was great. There was a small blip with the tv and she sent me clear helpful instructions immediately to fix it. For anyone considering to stay, I strongly recommend you book it!

We had such a fabulous time, the location is amazing and we enjoyed the beach, sea and fantastic sunsets. Lovely walks in both directions. Kids LOVED the swimming pool and slides. The Spar shop was handy. The caravan was the nicest one I’ve have stayed in. Shanice was really helpful and good communication and directions Thank you!!

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

The caravan was spotless and in a great location on the site, the view was outstanding. The beds were very comfortable infact I will miss that bed 😀. everything was great I would happily go back there. Hayley has made the caravan very homely..son enjoyed the collection of DVDs !

The best chalet we have stayed in. Spotless, lovely furnishings, super comfy bed and sofas. Great shower and well equipped kitchen and appliances. Could not fault this chalet. Lovely campsite, great position up high looking out over the sea for sunsets. Great base for exploring the area.

Loved the Caravan clear instructions as to how to access and gain entry which was useful as we did not realise just how big the site was! It was very clean warm and comfortable also very well equipped. I have to say I did not read the instructions carefully enough and brought no bedding with us. This was resolved via the Reception on the site and for a small deposit we were provided with bedding which was delivered! Deposit returned on return of the bedding so no crisis. Lots of lovely walking from the caravan perfect for the dog. We were visiting friends in the area and would definitely consider coming again.

We really enjoyed the stay at Butlins. We had a fantastic time. The shows were good. The food at the resort was excellent and the staff there was always friendly and helpfull.

Myself and my family had the best two nights stay here it is very peaceful and relaxing there. Maria and Richie were really friendly and made us feel welcome. The cabin was amazing and had everything we needed. Couldn't fault it, it was amazing and will definitely be going back. Also what made it was their lovely gentle friendly dogs, which we all loved 😍 and finally got to meet their cat before checked out. Thank you again it was amazing!😄

The location is utterly exquisite. Perfect location for that quiet early morning swim!. 5 minutes walk from the center of Lyme but so quiet and peaceful . Friendly community - really helpful when needed. Fiona couldn't do enough to help. She was a fantastic host. That little hut has everything you need. It's like a little tardis. Comfy sofa bed - although we didn't pull it fully out. Someone of 6'5 slept on it and was perfectly comfortable. Upstairs room cozy, just about enough space to sit up and read a book in bed. The elfin kitchen had absolutely everything - a fantastic sized fridge, an oven, and two hot plates. What more could you need? Many thanks to Fiona for her all her care and communication.

Really lovely property just as described. Right by the marina but really peaceful. Beds were comfortable and the whole apartment was very clean and beautifully presented. We were visiting family in the local area so we were not in the property much but it was very accessible. Thank you we had a good time.

Eleri was very gracious as we arrived a lot later than anticipated, and kindly showed us through her lovely airbnb. It is fully equipped and exactly as described and having a private and fully enclosed garden was perfect as we had our 2 schnauzerkids with us. Her home is spotless and the area is really lovely with walking access to the beach through the nature reserve located opposite her home. Golf courses all over and a great base from where to go out and explore the South Wales coast. Highly recommended. Thanks Eleri. We left early this morning so didn't want to bother you. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Chris’s place. The views are outstanding and the bustling marina is only around the corner. Well equipped kitchen which we cooked in on both occasions. Great location for those interested in walking along the Somerset coastal path. We got to Clevedon this time! The only real drawback is the 4 flights of stairs (worth it once you’re up there! 🤩) which might be tricky for less able people. We will definitely return again 🤗

We enjoyed our stay at Roberts little chalet, loverly and clean, very cosy and welcoming. A brilliant location and very close to the Beach. Would recommend to others.

We had an amazing time at Annie’s place. She was always available by phone and easy to communicate with. We were warmly welcomed by her husband, Mark, and her son, Oshi, who were both incredibly helpful. Mark, in particular, was a lot of fun and went out of his way to make our stay enjoyable. The property looked exactly like the listing—if not better in person. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return!

We booked this as a special family trip as my sister and her children were visiting from New Zealand, we wanted somewhere memorable and a bit different, Emillies place was certainly that! the photos really don't don't justice, it's a spectacular space and set in beautiful surroundings. The home was well equipped and we all agreed the beds were really comfortable- like being in a boutique hotel! and 3 bathrooms for 5 guests was amazing luxury! We had a little problem while there and Emillie sent someone round immediately to fix it! We were lucky with the weather and ale to explore the grounds and nearby Lyme, but we would have been equally happy being 'rained in' at the home!! We couldn't recommend it more highly to anyone looking for a 'something special' staycation. thanks Emillie.
