Designed by internationally celebrated Brian MacKay-Lyons this charming 1-bedroom apartment is located on ground level, is wheelchair accessible and has a sprinkler system. The great room features: 13.5' ceiling, Belgian wood stove, huge glarage door that opens to breathtaking views of the Lunenburg Harbour, and a pull-out sofa bed.

With almost 3 acres and a fenced in area, your dog will be able to enjoy this spot as much as you will. Whether the occassion is a family vacation, or relaxing weekend away with your friends, this Wildwood Acres is just what you need! There are many options for dining and activities in Mahone Bay or Lunenburg, and Bachman's beach is just down the road.

Enjoy an outdoor fire pit after a day of exploring! Please note : Our grandchildren are now living with us and therefore we are unable to guarantee complete silence.

Acacia Grove Cottage | Second Peninsula

Acacia Grove Cottage is a rustic traditional Cape with an ocean view, shared wharf access, and surrounded by a spacious working field. Walking distance to Bachman’s Beach and only a short drive to the town of Lunenburg, Acacia offers the perfect blend of convenience and off-the-beaten-path peace and quiet. Featuring an upstairs loft space with four twin beds (two separate bed rooms) and one queen downstairs bedroom, this space is perfect to accommodate the whole family!

Country Stay close to Town

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. Ten minutes from Lunenburg but it could be 100 years. Coast through Garden Lots, where the ‘Foreign Protestants’ grew their vegetables, cross The Commons, land given by Queen Victoria and still held in common, over the bridge and you’re on Heckman’s Island. Follow the road until it turns to gravel, up the hill and we’re the red roof on the left. Ascend the steps to The Loft, pour yourself a drink and watch the sunset.

These unique and thoughtful suites, each of the three units are outfitted with subtle nuances giving the spaces their own special feel. Visitors will enjoy designer micro-kitchens, fully stocked with amenities any food enthusiast would appreciate. A cozy wood stove for those chillier evenings. All units have a special secondary sleeping nest area accessible by ladder. A serene place to hide away and watch for shooting stars through the skylight windows.
