Waddle Self Catering

The Waddle is a traditional Shetland croft house, refurbished to offer a homely and comfortable stay for guests. Situated in a peaceful, quiet, remote location just over a mile from the nearby village of Walls, tucked in under the hill overlooking a sea-loch, it's a perfect place to enjoy Shetlands wildlife, scenery, peace and freedom. The Waddle is situated on an active croft. We have approximately 250 sheep with lambing in the spring, silage baling in the summer and feeding in the winter.

Voortrekker - Mogill Apartment

We have 3 self-catering in-house open plan, adult only, apartments; Mogill sits alongside Soothpunds on the Northeast of the main building. This quaint apartment offers stunning panoramic views, looking north to the cliffs of Noss & across the east horizon. Enjoy beautiful morning sun rises from the patio with summer BBQ area, taking in natures best. Whether in bed, dining or sitting, one is surrounded by breathtaking views. Our local beach is mins away, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North.

Driftwood Cottage

This traditional cottage has been recently renovated to provide a modern, quirky and cosy home away from home. A scenic, relaxing setting to get away from it all and a great base for exploring Shetland. With magnificent sea views, Driftwood provides beautiful coastal walks from your doorstep. During the summer months, your nearest neighbours are Shetland ponies who may peer over the fence to say hello. There's plenty of outdoor space to enjoy watching local wildlife along the shoreline.

Set in it's own garden grounds with views over the Atlantic and the quiet Westside village of Skeld (40 minute drive from Lerwick) and the marina, you'll enjoy the best of Shetland hospitality with a chef prepared breakfast to start the day. Come and go as you please, you have your own front door and your own sitting room with a peat stove and Bose wifi music player. You also have exclusive use of the walk in shower and toilet. A country house full of art !

Two bedroom cottage in central Lerwick

Comfortable two bedroom cottage, situated in the centre of Lerwick. The cottage has recently been refurbished, and is decorated with a modern feel. Located on King Harald Street, the cottage is within walking distance of Lerwick town centre, near various cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops. Please be aware that there are two sets of steps to get up to the cottage (27 in total), so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues, or prams/buggies.

Take a break and find your new peaceful getaway in the south end of beautiful Shetland, in this lovely 2-bedroom cottage with an open kitchen/living/dining space. Enjoy the views of St. Ninian’s, and Ireland/Maywick. Take leisurely walks in the road to Maywick beach, and out and into Bigton and to St. Ninian’s Isle, which boasts Britain’s longest tombolo and is host to Haar Sauna. Visit our local Bigton Community Shop for necessities and local goods.

‘Braelea’ cozy country out building with mezzanine

Reclaimed ‘oot hoose’ located in Burra- a small fishing village on the west side, only 15 min drive from Lerwick. Burra is a lovely part of Shetland, & home to some of its most beautiful beaches and coastal views. The shop is a 2 minute walk away, where you can book a tour with ‘Shetland Sea Adventures’ fishing trips & tours of the outer islands. Air b&b is next to a bus stop with connecting services to Lerwick & other parts.

Cosy lanes flat on the historic Hillhead

Big bay windows look out over the town's historic Hillhead - the perfect location for viewing the world-famous Up Helly Aa fire festival, as the spectacular torchlight evening procession starts from right outside, making this the ideal view point.

Although it is an annexe to owners home it is completely private .There are spectacular views across the bay where seals ,otters and sometimes Orcas can be spotted. There is a small beach 2 minutes walk from the accommodation also a swimming pool and local shop within easy walking distance .
