Loch View Caravan

SarahRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What can i say, we have just come home from a week at the tibbie shiels caravan and i feel claustrophobic. The view and the area is completely stunning. The caravan is exactly as shown and described (slightly dated, but homely and usable) (i also wouldnt want a bright white sterile place to stay when you have the loch and hills to come back from). Alistair and Eleanor were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and nothing was too much, even when they were fully booked with campers. The private little garden and gated area are just gorgeous next to the river facing st marys loch. We have stayed on site and travelled around the nearby towns and beauty spots. Weve had an amazing time....bring waterproofs. There were 2 adults, 2 big teenage lads, 2 kids and our dogs....it was a squeeze but we managed!! We will be back and we cant wait for the next adventure around the area! Thank you!

Orchard Hideaway, 4* Luxury Lodge, wood hot tub!

MatthewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!

Charming 1 bed in the heart of the Pentlands

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Really beautiful place and honestly easy to get in and out of even without a car! There is a bus and although it’s not frequent it is reliable if you just make sure to plan ☺️ Leo was very friendly and kind and so accommodating. I will highlight what someone else mentioned: unfortunately the WIFI isn’t the best and there’s no signal because of the location so if you’re planning on working remotely while staying here, would make sure you keep that in mind. Other than that, loved our stay here!

The Cuckoos Nest with Scandinavian hot tub

CamilleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had a beautiful child free stay for two days which was bliss in the most perfect surroundings. The pod was clean, modern and easy to get to from instructions given. It was well worth the drive up from Manchester and I'll definitely be recommending to friends and family. Hopefully I'll get to visit again. Thank you so much.

Chill Rose - Individually designed comfy cabins

OliverRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Beautiful cabin with a coffee shop and old railway walk right on your doorstep. Veronica was a fantastic host who was flexible with check-in and showed us around. The grounds are immaculate and great for a dog. No issue for us but worth noting there are some chickens kept on site should you have a reactive dog. Equally great for little ones’ entertainment. Cabin has everything you need and a communal microwave/hob along with a trolley for ease of moving bits from the car. Really it feels like you’re home and away from technology. No wifi (great 5G signal though) and no TV so just bring a tablet if needed. For light sleepers, you can hear trucks but wasn’t any issue for us. 100% recommend and we’ll certainly be back!

Historic Old Sawmill Lodge

JordanRating, 5 stars3 days ago
If you’ve booked this, you’re in for a treat. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The lodge was immaculately clean and pristine - yet it felt like a second home the moment we stepped in. Everything we could have wanted was thought of and provided, and every small detail from the hand-drawn map to the vinyl record player (with a top-tier selection of records) made it a place we didn’t want to leave. When we did venture out, everything we needed was within walking distance (including the famous Traquair House). We have a Goldador who loves nothing more than a big walk, and the scenic paths along the fields and the Tweed river were a perfect start to each day. George made us feel right at home, and we’d be lucky to go back (if it isn’t already fully booked!)
