Holiday houses in Scotchmans Lead

We had a fabulous stay at Sailors Falls Estate! Margaret and Robert were so helpful and the villa was very comfortable. We found the nearby Daylesford attractions easy to get to but also enjoyed relaxing at the villa with a lovely wine from the cellar door!

Elsa’s beautiful shack in Mt. Egerton gave my wife and me the most wonderful four-night stay. It’s well-insulated and cozy, with a fully equipped kitchen. Wi-Fi is available, but it’s easy to disconnect and enjoy the tranquility. Set on farmland, we loved visits from her two gorgeous horses. The air is fresh, the nights peaceful, and Ballarat and Daylesford are an easy drive for day trips or supplies. Elsa was a friendly, reliable host who always responded promptly to any queries. My wife and I highly recommend Elsa’s shack to anyone considering a stay.

Great location, quiet street, ample parking and so close to the high-street. Cute, renovated cottage with very comfortable beds. We appreciated the early check in on a hot day too.

A must stay here and a must come back. Terrific location and an excellent property. The house and the 2 villas have everything you will need to make a fabulous stay. We , being 4 of us, ate , drank and slept our restful 4 days in the main house. Breakfast in the garden , lunch at the best Restaurants in town and sun downers on the front verandah. Dinner and a movie in the main dining/living room or dinner in the garden are obvious choices. Thank you so much for being excellent super hosts. We loved your property and the cleverness of the interior design and the rebuild of such a lovely old home. Also thank you for getting us into the Lakehouse Restaurent on NYE and the other fabulous restaurant suggestions. Our wives are coming back to go to the Eka Spa.

What a lovely place to stay with friends. We did a hike in nearby Daylesford and were grateful to come back to a warm home with comfy beds. The kitchen had plenty of provisions - all the basics you need and more. Kylie was friendly and easy to communicate with. Would recommend.

The property is in a quiet street and well located to the Main Street of Beaufort. The accomodation is extremely homely. Cherie was fantastic to deal with and was extremely helpful with any requirements, we will be back!

We had a great time staying at this property. The house is very spacious and with 8 adults we did not feel like we were on top of each other. Home was clean and as described. Straight drive into Ballarat and only 10mins to the CBD.
