Stone Casatorre in Alta Toscana

A true 10th-century medieval watchtower of the Malaspina family in the village of Irola (Villafranca in Lunigiana, Alta Toscana): a rare stay amidst ancient stone, period atmosphere and modern comforts. The house is unique in the area and retains authentic details such as centuries-old stones, an exposed chestnut roof, and a bathroom with a shower in the rock. Outside, you will find a private garden with a barbecue and a private patio with a hammock and a rocking chair overlooking the Luni valley and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

In a short time you can reach destinations such as the Tuscan cities of art: Pisa (90 km), Lucca (85 km), Florence (150 km) or visit the beautiful Ligurian coast with fantastic beaches and points of interest: LERICI, PORTOVENERE, CINQUE TERRE and VERSILIA famous for shopping and its nightlife. The house is equipped with a beautiful relaxation area with swimming pool and waterfall and a spacious garden.

Il Borgo Vacation Home

Casa vacanze Il Borgo is a small jewel entirely made of stone, located in the village of Rocca Sigillina in the municipality of Filattiera. It is equipped with a bedroom with a double bed and a cot, a bathroom and an open space with a sofa bed, dining room and kitchen. The accommodation has exclusive use of a swimming pool overlooking the Apennines, accessible directly from the kitchen window door. In the external courtyard there is also a gazebo with a table and deckchairs with an umbrella.

From Pontremoli to the village of Ponticello

5 minutes from Pontremoli is the village of Ponticello known for its stone tower houses and barrel arches. Inside the village is my accommodation with a separate entrance. The apartment is independent with a lovely balcony where you can dine or sunbathe in complete relaxation. It is 5 km from the Pontremoli tollbooth, 40 minutes from Lerici, 1 hour from Portovenere and the Cinque Terre, 55 minutes from Versilia and just over 1 hour from Pisa and Lucca. E-bike rental is available.
