Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Scio Township

This little house is an absolute gem! It is located in a leafy, quiet neighborhood close to lots of things Ann Arbor has to offer. Inside, it was spotless and very comfortable, with every amenity we needed. We honestly wanted to stay longer because we instantly fell in love with this home! The beds are comfortable, clean, fresh linens. Great back yard to enjoy for birdsong and local wildlife (deer, raccoon). It is also close to great nature trails and parks. I highly recommend Yolanda's place to stay when visiting Ann Arbor.

Kevin's place is spotless. You can tell the moment you walk in that this is not just a rental, but a well cared for home. The check in process was simple and easy to follow. He has instructions and suggestions posted in the house to make the dtay that much more simple. Everything about the stay was perfect. Lance & Sarah

Very unique place. Our group had a wonderful time discussing the art and overall architecture and structure of the home. Excellent amenities clearly laid out and explained in the welcoming page. Joanne was hands down the best host I've ever had on Airbnb! I've stayed at several lovely places before, but Joanne truly went above and beyond. Her home is beautifully curated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Her communication was warm, responsive, and incredibly accommodating throughout my stay. The location is just as amazing—gorgeous river views, a peaceful patio, and a spotless hot tub, all right in the heart of downtown Dexter. Staying at Joanne’s place was such a treat, and it’s definitely a trip I’d take again. Thank you, Joanne, for making it so special! :)

Our second stay and a beautiful setting to celebrate our daughter’s college graduation from UMich. Misty was always responsive and helpful when asked to help find something that was always right in front of me. Loved walking the trails and morning coffee with the dear and the turkeys.

We stayed here for a 3 day course we needed to attend in Lansing. I saw this location and jumped on it even though it was 36 minutes from our class. Very beautiful stay! I was so excited to explore the old church as it has been my lifelong dream to convey an old church into a home. Unfortunately, I misunderstood as there is no access to the actual sanctuary from the air bnb. No matter! The furnishings of the stay are artistic and tasteful. I'm a huge fan of old architecture and the woodwork and art accents are extremely well placed. Take note, there are extra individual charges per person. I had not experienced this before and was a little surprised when it cost an extra 50 for two coworkers to stay one night when it got too late for them to drive back to Kalamazoo. But the host was responsive and understanding when I accidentally rented a movie under her Amazon (I paid her back). I felt so bad, so don't be like me- always remember to logout/login when using shared media! 😄

We lucked out finding this hidden gem, only five minutes from the event we were in town for. The house was comfortable for our large family, we felt right at home.

This Airbnb is one of my favorites that I have stayed in. It was very accommodating. I was surprised at all the little details they included to ensure you felt welcomed. More than enough towels and linens and toys for my kids.

Cassandra was super awesome😌 I made a long drive from the bottom of the states and the house was very welcoming. Any issues or questions I had, she was very responsive and thorough especially considering I was unfamiliar with the area. I enjoyed my stay and felt safe (solo woman traveler). Laura was an amazing host! We felt right at home, and the place was spotless. She answered our messages and assisted us with the bonfire. My daughters had an amazing time, we were sad that due to our limited time we couldn’t do the rope course at her property. If we visit Michigan again, we’d definitely stay here!

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Awesome spot in a very walkable neighborhood. The building is quite old but the space was very clean and comfortable. The AC was nice and cold, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and extra shower supplies. I will definitely stay here again.

This was our second time visiting Allison and Anthony’s place. We love that the location is close to and easy to get to downtown Detroit, while being just outside of the hustle and bustle to feel quiet and peaceful. Their place has everything you need, and they go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable! To top it off, they provide wonderful local recommendations for activities, shopping, art/architecture, restaurants, and hidden gems!

This is our second time staying here and I think it is not our last. Somehow, it feels like we are coming home! It is so comfy and cozy. Everyone from our 3-month-old to my parents in their late 70s was pleased. There is so much to do...or NOT do if that is what you like! You will not regret this booking!!!

Cute lake cabin. We appreciate the owner for being dog friendly, and the dog park in town was a plus.

Kaylee's place was very nice and clean. It had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay there. Kaylee communicated very well and gave simple instructions. The lake was awesome and we got to do some fishing also. Definitely would consider staying here again when the opportunity arises!

The cottage was perfect for our Father /Daughter get away. Two comfortable beds, and functional kitchen/relaxation area. The gold was outside!!….awesome dock, kayaks, huge grill, lakeside fire ring. We caught fish off the dock or wading out 50 yards or so. Perfect weekend. We even had rain one day and still had a great time. Hosts were so friendly and responsive. Will stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was as described and very comfortable. There was a beautiful sunrise in the morning and the location was perfect for the viewing. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Staying at Matthew's Place was a delightful experience for us. Nestled in the charm of the 1950s, this fishing cabin brims with character. It's cozy and quaint, yet it doesn't skimp on cleanliness or convenience. Located near the enchanting Village of Clarkston, it offers easy access to local neighborhoods and the downtown area on foot. The serene lake, adorned with ducks, swans, and turtles, provided a peaceful backdrop to our stay. Rick managed to catch a big large- mouth bass, which, in the spirit of catch and release, was returned to its aquatic home. We took advantage of the canoe for a gentle paddle on the lake. We brought our own life vests, though Mathew does provide everything we needed. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we wholeheartedly recommend Matthew's Place to singles, couples, and small families looking for a quaint getaway with a touch of adventure.
