Very pleasant stay in a beautiful area to enjoy the magic of Christmas. The accommodation is in a great location, close to Colmar and many typical villages. The house is a peaceful oasis, cozy, very clean, tastefully decorated and very well equipped (good bedding, nice kitchen and bathroom with large walk-in shower). Françoise is a very friendly host and her welcome is very warm, (thank you for the bottle of wine in the fridge), she likes to share and communication is very easy. the outside (the terrace, the garden), even if we did not take advantage of it at this time, is extremely pleasant. We felt right at home and will be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

The flat was clean and had a lovely balcony overlooking the river, there were many walks to choose from which went directly from the house. There is tourist information in the next village along which can be walked to as its about 3km away. It was not made clear that there is only one bedroom, this is large and has lots of storage so is a nice room, the second bed is actually is a fold away one in the lounge area. This was not a problem for myself and my friend but just something to be aware of if you were wanting more privacy. The flat is self contained but it is within the house itself, there are a number of other flats within the building, if you are expecting it to be separate its not. There was occasionally a small amount of noise from the private part of the house where the host lives but this was not intrusive, just the children playing. Be aware that you will need to pay tourist tax at the end of your stay, its about one euro per person per day.

Martin met us at the house- we had texted to agree on the arrival time. He gave us a tour of the apartment and the farm. There's a self service farm store where we got fresh veggies and eggs each day which were wonderful! We were allowed to take a small pitcher of fresh milk from the dairy cow tank daily too which we used for cooked things like oatmeal and hot chocolate- wonderful. Great quiet spot on an organic vegetable/dairy farm. Apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, roomy. Great big windows. We are a family of 4 but it could easily sleep 6. 2 huge beds (similar in size to King in USA) and 1 single bed but they can add more singles. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Martin was friendly and helpful and also told us about hiking trails that start right from the farm which we walked and were through some lovely forest. Great location only 15 min from Uberlingen. In the other direction is Stockach which has a great freibad (outdoor pool) that was less than 2 Euros entrance per kid. Several times we dropped out kids off here to swim while we went for a walk (hiking trail from pool too). Uberlingen is beautiful with lots of fun shops, great promenade for walking, biking trail leads all the way around the Bodensee Lake. We rented bikes a few days and biked to nearby Meersburg and the open air stone age village. I recommend both. Also fun to take the ferry for a day trip to Konstanz and other areas.

Beautiful place, beautiful town, beautiful surroundings! We had an amazing time there.

We loved our little corner in the forest and the house has everything you need. Werner was lovely and we appreciated the little touches of a welcome coffee and prosecco. Our only tiny bit of feedback was that the internet was sometimes very fast and sometimes not. I was so working online in large documents and on video calls and occasionally struggled. The internet was more than good enough if you are not working!

Very friendly, proactive host. Appartement is well equipped and maintained. Comfortable garage parking in the building. Supermarket around the corner and public transport nearby.

One of my best experiences

Lina and Dieter's apartment is a real little cocoon, ideally located near Fribourg, Europa-Park, but also a convenience store and gas station. It's spacious, very clean, and it immediately feels good. A great place to explore the Black Forest!

Peter was very nice and welcomed us and gave us very good recommendations. It was flexible on arrival as our flight was delayed. Good accommodation option to see Strasbourg and surroundings.

Lovely place, I felt right at home. With a nice garden where you can peacefully sit outside. Beautiful surroundings, you can make nice long walks in the forest nearby, without meeting anyone. Going into Baden-Baden was super easy by bus, and free of charge because of the guest card you receive upon arrival. Ute and her husband are very friendly hosts, and respond quickly to messages.

Had a wonderful stay & I will be back! Priska, Theo and their sweet dog, Sam, made me feel very welcomed. They went above and beyond with kind, familiar gestures that it almost felt more like being with family than an Air BnB. The apartment has everything you need and it was even nicer than the listing, also perfect for relaxing in after long work days (was there on a business trip).

Just a dream... a beautiful home in a wonderful environment Anja and Christian have created here, equipped with everything you need and in which we immediately felt comfortable. Even if the weather does not play along and you have already tasted the view and tranquility from the balcony comfortably, you can do a lot around it. Highly recommended is the Revitalbad in Menzenschwand (only 5 minutes walk). We are already planning our next visit ;)

On the occasion of an outing in Rulantica (Europapark water park) we stayed in Lionel and Judy's apartment. The accommodation is only a 10-minute drive from the parks in a very quiet village. The apartment is very easy, there is a parking space right in front. We have a lockbox available which allows you to arrive when you want (we arrived at 9pm). The apartment is large, tidy but above all perfectly clean. There are many things available for a longer stay. The beds are comfortable, we slept really well. On our next trip to the park, we'll be happy to come back to this place! Thank you very much, and see you soon ☺️

The semi-detached house is very stylish and nicely decorated. We had a great stay. Check in was seamless with a lockbox, as was check out. The kitchen is equipped with everything necessary for self-catering.

We had a great time at Stéphane's place: it's more beautiful than in the photos and when you enter you immediately smell the clean scent that I love! Stéphane was very attentive to us and also left us sparkling wine to celebrate the new year. The location is also strategic for getting to all the fairytale villages and castles in the surrounding area. Colmar can be reached by car in 10 minutes. Highly recommended

Great stay at Christian's, we went to the area for the Christmas markets, the accommodation is in a great location, in the middle of all the markets Great hosting, accommodation that I recommend.

Caro and Bijan are great hosts - the communication was extremely friendly, quick and helpful. The location is good. About 30 minutes from Lake Titisee. 10 minutes to Triberg, where you can see the Triberg waterfalls, among other things. Unfortunately, renovations are taking place at the swimming pool at the moment - this was the only downside.

We had a wonderful time! The apartment was clean, well appointed, and exactly as described. The area is very nice and quiet – perfect for unplugging. Our kids loved the farm and of course the animals that were the highlight for them. Everything was straightforward and pleasant. We highly recommend the stay and would be happy to come back.

Everything corresponded exactly to the description of the property with a wonderfully quiet location. Very friendly guest treatment. Great welcome beer with small talk, which helped quickly forget any reservations. Neighbor Erwin was also a very pleasant conversationalist. By no means intrusive, you gave the guest enough space to do what you wanted. Great value for money! Unreservedly recommended !

We had a great weekend of May 1st at Cathy and Robert's place. The gite is well designed and functional. Cleanliness reigns supreme. It has all the useful amenities or more. Recommended place without hesitation. For cyclists, there are many bike paths nearby, including one nearby along a canal in the direction of Colmar.
