Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schenectady County

This historic home is very clean, tastefully decorated, and has comfy beds. Another plus is the shower has plenty of warm water. The half bath downstairs has a nice washer and dryer. There were plenty of clean towels and blankets during our stay. I loved the location, as it is a safe neighborhood to walk around. Less than a quarter mile, there is a historic church with a beautiful garden. There is also a nice park on the river just down the side street. Many great places to eat within are within a few miles radius. Some we liked were Katie O'Byrnes, The Ritz on Union (good Italian food), Druther's Brewing Co, and the Iron Gate Cafe. Arthur's Market, directly across the street, is a nice place to get coffee, tea, baked goods, salads, and quiche. Although there is a little neighborhood traffic on front facing street, it is fairly quiet and relaxing at this location.

My stay here there was comfortable and I would definitely stay here again if needing a place in this area. Samantha was very good at communicating and very attentive to any questions I had.

My family and I had a terrific stay at this beautiful home. Olga was fantastic, always responsive if we reached out and very helpful. The home was even more beautiful and breathtaking when we first walked into the house than we could have imagined! The home was spacious and cozy, and the view was spectacular. I enjoyed waking up early to work for a few hours overlooking the lake and the beautiful view of the sunrise, enjoying a nice cup of coffee while everyone else was still sound asleep in the comfortable accommodation. The sunset was even more stunning. We will definitely return if we get the chance.

Very clean and everything was exactly as in the photos. It was close to the family events we were attending and was the perfect spot for us to be able to visit everyone easily. David is very responsive and made sure we were comfortable. We hope we can stay again on a future trip back to visit family.

Great location and clean simply furnished house! Not a lot of “extras” but comfortable bed and clean! On a nice corner lot and loved the windows. The bay window in the front room makes it cozy. Had a few different issues which the host remedied quickly! (Thank you!) Great place to stay while working in the area. Cute family owned pizza place across the street which was a convenient plus. We would stay here again!

Third year at this home! We stay for almost 2 months each year and couldn’t be happier with the home-the area-and the super responsive host! There are so many homes to chose from, we are so happy with this one! We have even shopped for the home and left items behind for others to use. We feel right at home here. Great restaurants very close, you can not go wrong here!

Lorenzo’s place was great for our stay! Cute, clean, and well stocked. Lorenzo checked in a few times to make sure everything was going well. I also loved that the check out list was not a mile long—very reasonable!

this is second time staying at this house on Caroline. it is a very nice, quiet neighborhood. the house is decorated beautifully and has a feeling of home!! will probably stay here again in future. highly recommend

Albert’s place is great. The proximity to Mohawk commons makes getting things really easy. We really liked saying bye to his dog at the window when we left everyday.

I can't express how wonderful Anna was as a host! She went above and beyond in every way, from accommodating a last-minute booking when my original plans fell through, to being incredibly understanding and flexible throughout the process. Her communication was prompt, friendly, and professional from start to finish. Anna even went the extra mile by stocking the space with ironing starch when I mentioned needing it for a business event but couldn't get it through my Target pickup order. That kind of thoughtful attention to guest needs is exceptional! The Airbnb itself was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with all the basics needed for a business trip. The location is perfectly convenient to everything in the area, and the space was wonderfully quiet for a good night's rest. I couldn't have been more pleased with my stay and would absolutely book with Anna again!

Perfect place to stay with my son as it was perfectly located near my family while visiting Clifton Park. John and Audrey were very warm and gracious hosts. Tons of space, Beds were extremely comfy and nice couch/Tv entertainment set up. Will definitely book again next visit.

Great hosts that make you feel right at home. We were greeted with some extra special touches that we were not expecting during our stay, that was very thoughtful. The space is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. We would definitely come back

Christine’s place was perfect for my wife and I. We were even welcomed to bring our cat. Christine even had treats, toys, and a food and water bowl for her. We were in town for the hospital which was conveniently 60seconds away. Quiet, clean, and responsive. When back in town we will certainly look to stay here again.

A1 host, i had a issue with the keypad after travel and work i was a little annoyed and we figured out the solution. He was even willing to personally come and help me out I'd stay at this space again without a doubt

Excellent apartment. Very clean, full fridge and nice appliances and access to laundry right there. Location is private and parking easy. No complaints and would definitely recommend! Host is also very fast to reply and will work with you on anything.

Carla was a wonderful host. More importantly her rental was beautiful and very comfortable. Would strongly recommend and we look forward to going back (when there’s less snow)!

Stunning location a short walk through lovely Congress park to downtown Saratoga. Scrumptious bakery in easy walking distance. The apartment was delightful: very clean with all the essentials stocked. We loved being able to stop back in during the day for a quick recharge before getting back into the middle of everything. Bright and sunny during the day and quiet and peaceful at night.

The place was great. Lots of charm. We actually ate on his back porch, which as a nice surprise since it wasn’t mention in the listing. Place was close to tons of restaurants and bars. It was a short drive to the bath houses, which was one our reasons for visiting. We will definitely be return visitors.

Such a unique stay! David gave very helpful instructions for arriving and getting to the property, even supplied photos for extra assistance. The property itself is cozy and in a great part of the city. There’s lots to do nearby, super walkable, and David provides great local recommendations. The shared gallery space was so cool to see too. Great experience!

Great location. Parking is difficult in downtown Saratoga Springs, but not their fault. Airbnb met all the requirements, not overly furnished or stocked in the kitchen area but got the job done in terms of giving us a place to sleep at night and being very centrally located.
