The little cottage was very cozy and quiet. We enjoyed eating in front of the patio door and looking out into the garden. There are a few chickens there, which we enjoyed a lot. The two cats visited us from time to time, we liked that very much. Sara and Steven were very friendly and always answered our questions very quickly. Thank you again for that. Tienhoven is a beautiful little village, we felt very comfortable there.

Lovely house on the water

The house is beautifully located on a dike. The neighborhood is very quiet. You can park on the street for a small fee. Amsterdam and Utrecht can be reached very quickly. Hairlem, a great city, and the beach in the west are also within 1 hour by car. We enjoyed the time very much. There is everything you need in the house. Everything is absolutely uncomplicated. And of course, the water directly in front of the house is particularly great. You can immediately switch off, put on your swimsuit and jump into the water. Overall it was a wonderful week.

Lovely apartment, very cozy and welcoming with an original decor. Everything is very classy, clean and practical. The outdoor space on the courtyard/patio is very pleasant. The neighborhood is quiet. There is a supermarket quite close, as well as a bus stop to connect the train to Amsterdam. The bikes available make it possible to get to the centre of Utrecht quite easily by taking a nice ride of about forty minutes.

Upon arrival, it was unclear where to park, the area was closed to residents with a card. Random passerby could help us. (park along the street and definitely pay for parking ticket 3.5€ /24h.) The apartment was very nice and spacious, large terrace with beautiful views, large bedrooms, clean bathroom and kitchen. It was also very quiet during our stay. Easily accessible from the village centre and from Utrecht. We had a very enjoyable stay. We also had a nice meal in 'het boothuys', a restaurant 200m from the app.

A little paradise – our weekend on the little houseboat was simply fantastic! It is furnished with great attention to detail, very tasteful and at the same time cozy. A perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy nature. It is well equipped and we lacked nothing. The pretty garden with sauna and the special jungle shower was a real highlight and made the stay with a view of the river a very special experience. The surroundings also invite you to take long walks, and the town is easily accessible on foot. Anita is a great host: so warm, likeable and helpful – we felt welcome from the first moment. The breakfast she conjured up for us was simply delicious – an absolute treat that you shouldn't miss. She gave us good tips and was always available. We felt completely comfortable and can recommend this paradise 100%!
