Thoroughly renovated house in nature

Here, time moves a little more slowly: our lovingly renovated half-timbered house is located on the outskirts of Sumte, surrounded by meadows, fields and the unique landscape of the Elbe floodplain. Look forward to sunsets from the terrace, relaxing hours in the garden sauna and plenty of space for time together with family or friends. The Elbe, Lake Sumter and numerous bike paths are only a few minutes away. If you like, you can discover the Elbe valley floodplain on an alpaca walk with our neighbour.

BehrenSCHLAF I vacation home

BehrenSCHLAF vacation home Stay in the thatched farmhouse and discover nature and the countryside well rested. Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. A double bed as well as a folding sofa bed allow 2 guests to sleep comfortably, but 4 people are also possible. Looking forward to seeing you soon! Your Behrens family

Idyllic apartment in an old farmhouse

Not far from Lake Ratzeburger in a village location, surrounded by fields and nearby forest, the apartment (90 m²) with private entrance can accommodate up to 4 people. The bright rooms are inviting, south terrace (60 m²) with table, chairs and loungers as well as a small garden complete the offer. Bed dimensions (cm) 180 x 200 and 160 x 200. From here you can explore the beautiful surroundings. Bicycles are available (see photos). Additional information: Washer/dryer by arrangement for € 5 each

Cozy guest house in a quiet location in Ratzeburg

Lovingly renovated single house with 80 m² of living space has been inviting families to relax since November 2019, whether for a cozy weekend or an exploration of the Lauenburg Lake District and the Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve. Large living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, veranda and a cozy garden with large terrace (see photos). The location is ideal for day trips: about 25 minutes to Lübeck, 40 minutes to Schwerin, 45 minutes to the Baltic Sea beach or 50 minutes to Hamburg City.

Stylish accommodation for up to 4 guests with a cosy bedroom (160 cm bed), a sofa bed in the living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a stylish bathroom. Warm light and loving details create a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Coffee on the roof terrace in the morning, enjoying the lake view with the sunset in the evening – nature, peace and charm all in one.

In the thatched brick house from 1840 there are 4 apartments that are renovated in an energy-efficient construction and equipped with ecologically valuable interiors. We want to make our dream of sustainable country life a reality for design-conscious families. A small insight into a plastic-reduced everyday life The furniture & accessories with which the apartments are equipped can also be ordered for home.

Right on the lake - Private sandy beach & boats

A fantastic vacation home, attractively furnished in a rustic hunting lodge style, located directly on a large inland lake with excellent water quality. The perfect place for water sports enthusiasts, families, dog owners and nature lovers. The house has a spacious private sandy beach with exclusive access to Lake Prüßsee. Nature is beautiful at any time of the year and can be explored from your own jetty with boats and SUPs. Fishing in your own lake area is possible free of charge.

Scale domicile

Our vacation home is located on Lake Schaalsee, in a dreamy little bay surrounded by nature. The modernly furnished terraced house offers 72 sqm of space for the whole family. On a second property (directly on the lake), which you can reach on a short path, you will find a jetty and rowboat which is available to you from May 1 to October. Fishing from the jetty and from the boat is possible. Garden furniture and a bathing ladder are provided. Sauna (extra charge)

Country house near the Schaalsee

The house is in a very quiet location in the biosphere reserve Schaalsee. It is 10km to Lake Schaalsee, 5km to Lake Neuenkirchen, 50km to the Baltic Sea (dust-free!!!). From the house can be started directly to bike tours, on adjacent hiking trails. There is also a swimming pond on the very natural property. The house is very bright and very quiet. I also paint there and write and so there is also a large easel available. Pets have a generous spout.

Welcome to our cozy apartment on Lake Schaalsee - enjoy peace, nature & relaxation. In the lovingly furnished basement apartment in Groß-Zecher, a quiet time-out in the middle of nature awaits you - a few minutes' walk from Lake Schaal. Here you are in the right place to relax - whether on the terrace or in the large open living room. You are quickly in the forest and by the lake. Only one street separates you from the indescribable nature.

Vacation in a historic farmhouse

This historic building is a typical North German farmhouse and is located on the edge of a small village with unobstructed views of the hilly countryside. Our 2-hectare natural property is adjacent to our own meadow behind the house, with many cozy spots under trees and by the stream. We renovated the cottage with natural materials and furnished it comfortably, e.g. with a fireplace and small sauna.
