Cottage holiday rentals in Scarborough

My family and I loved staying at the Seaholly cottage. The beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was decorated beautifully. Lexi was very considerate when stocking the bathroom with every toiletry you could possibly need. The cottage is in the perfect location and very close to beaches, shops, and restaurants. Highly recommend staying at the Seaholly Cottage! You won't be disappointed! My family and I can't wait to book with Lexi again. We had a great vacation!

A great spot tucked away!! House was cute and as shown in the pictures, is right on the water and has some great views! It rained the majority of the time we were there so didn’t get to take advantage of all the outdoor amenities, but would have if better weather! Host was very friendly, communicative and responsive!

I truly can’t say enough positives about Stephanie’s place! First, the cottage looks even better in person. Second, the little details make all the difference from the quick response time, welcome card and lobster bag, a very informative welcome binder, and a fully stocked home which when added together, felt like OUR home! Some who is walker bound, found the property to have comfort height counters and toilet in the bathroom, two anti slip step stools to get into the bed if you’re short like myself, and remotes for everything (including instructions to use everything in the binder). If you think you need it, Stephanie supplied it from board games, lobster pot, cocktail kit, to a crockpot and a Bose speaker in the kitchen. There was a rainy day so afternoon vacay naps listening to music was a vacation-like you can get! Only suggestion would be there are closets in the bedroom but they have shelves. There are no places for hanged clothing. Bring some hangers, use hooks on bathroom door!

Great clean air bnb. Accurately as described.. looks good in photos but even better in-person. Bed was comfortable. Would rent their properties again.

Perfect for what we needed for a weekend getaway. So peaceful and a lot of interesting wildlife. We saw so many different types of birds! The hot tub is spacious and easy to use.

Great cottage with a perfect location. Not too close to the ocean but close enough. Grocery stores and other shops within a mile radius. 10-20 miles gets you to many other small Maine locations.

1000 characters would not be enough to say all that I would want to say about our stay. Karl and Randy’s cottage is clean, comfortable, beautiful, cozy, private, surrounded by beaches and restaurants and shops all within 20 minutes!! We took two kids (ages almost 3 and almost 5) and it was an extremely kid friendly location all around. We enjoyed the heated pool, the golf cart, the private dead end road, the tennis courts, and all the attractions around. Karl was an exceptional host. So informative, kind, organized, you can tell he knows how to host very well! We last minute asked to extend our stay by a day and Karl was able to approve my request! We hope to be back!!!!!

My family and I loved Skye's place. It was very private with a great view of the river and a nice sunset. Lots of different sea birds including a family of geese that had just hatched. Skye's place was very well equipped with all the little conveniences we would normally supply ourselves from coffee and creamer to ice in the freezer. The location was perfect for us, because the focus of our trip was shopping. Less than ten minutes from the outlet stores We would definitely stay there again when in the area.

They were accommodating, flexible, and very gracious. They had an entire binder of information with details about where to find fans, towels, flashlights, how to work the shower, heat, grill, and about anything else you can think of. It also had emergency services, restaurants, places to have a good time, and good details about checkout expectations. Overall we were extremely happy with the property and our stay, and were honored by the personalization they did for us specifically as it was our Honeymoon and they wrote us a custom note by hand for when we arrived. Highly Recommended - Will Rent Again!

the stay was nice, the place was clean, match the description, pretty easy to find, and Christine had great communication. very beautiful views, right on the water, kayaking was nice.

Another great stay at this place! It’s been consistently a great spot for us. Perfect for a walk to beach or into town. We love it and will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed Elizabeth's house. It was beautiful and peaceful. The dock and beach were great. Communication was awesome! would loved to stay stay again.

Super cute cottage! I really enjoyed a few peaceful days there on my own, it was exactly what I was looking for. It's very charming and has everything you need. Like others have mentioned, you can definitely hear the road noise so it doesn't feel totally secluded but that didn't detract from my stay. Emily was a great host, provided lots of helpful information, and very quick to respond.

The property is tranquil and private but near convenient stores and food options. The cottage is so cute and quaint and was perfect for our stay with our dog. The art and small touches in the cottage are very lovely. This location is fantastic for accessing the beaches and harbors of York area.

This place has so much charm and makes you feel right at home. Cheryl baked cupcakes, put coffee, cream, milk, juice and Condiments as well as a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. I would highly recommend this cottage .

We had the best weekend at this place! It’s a beautiful home (in our opinion the cutest on the entire lake) in an even more beautiful area. It was a bit overcast and rained one day but the lake was surprisingly warm and we still went swimming even on the cooler day. We also used the kayaks and SUP the host provided to spend more time on the water. There were lots of board games provided that we played often. The kitchen was well-stocked with spices, pans, and even small appliances, and the toiletries provided were nice. The best part of this place, however, is the French doors that open onto the balcony. We kept them open, with the screen closed to keep bugs out, almost the entire time we were in the house. Despite being a guest house on the same property as Janath and Beth’s home, the carriage house felt very private. This has been one of our most favorite places we’ve stayed. A beautiful home that is quiet and with lake views you can’t beat. I’d recommend to anyone! You’ll love it.

We stayed at the cottage for about a week in late September and it was a perfect spot to get away from it all. The house is on a serene pond with trees reflected on the water, classic Maine. The cottage was clean and well kept with most everything you’d need. It’s in a very quiet neighborhood, so not a party spot, which worked out fine for our quiet family. We’d consider coming back to visit family. Thank you for the comfortable stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Jane & Dan’s house. It was perfect. We felt so peaceful and relaxed during our time there. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside on the porch swing while the sun was setting watching the mountains, horses and sunset. Can’t wait to come back!

What an awesome airbnb! The views are stunning and surroundings couldn’t have been more peaceful. The cottage itself was exceptional and had everything I needed and more. Wish I could've stayed there longer! 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone!

My friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend, and the place was so cute, spotless, and the hosts were so friendly and responsive. The location was also great and centrally located. We had a blast and would for sure stay here again!

We loved our stay at the cottage and were pleasantly surprised by all the equipment and toys in the bunk house. The lake was quiet enough for the kids to kayak. The location was easy distance to Portland and great restaurants closer by. We would definitely stay again!

Wow what a spot!!! Kristen thought of everything to make our family’s stay so comfortable. Tastefully decorated. Amenities abound. Spotless! It was so peaceful having morning coffee or relaxing around the campfire with the gorgeous backdrop of Panther Pond and the symphony of the loons. Kristen is a highly responsive host who wants your stay to be perfect. Communication was excellent. We cannot recommend this hidden gem more highly!

Overall, it was a great experience! Very peaceful and on a private road. I appreciated a clean and welcoming place! I would recommend this spot and stay here again. Owner was very kind and responded to any questions I had. Only thing that could improve was the kitchen layout. Kitchen iteam were in odd locations. I had to open each cabinet to find the oven mitts. This is a very little critique, and I would still rate it five out of five stars!
