Holiday rentals with breakfast in Scandicci

Our stay in Florence was part of a surprise 15-day trip to Italy for my husband’s 50th birthday. I can’t think of a better place to have started it than at Lorenzo’s charming, warm, and utterly unique home. It was a 25min walk from downtown Florence. As New Yorkers who are used to a walking city, we were thrilled as it required no car rental or many taxis. And each walk took us across Ponte San Niccolo with its dazzling view of the Duomo in the distance. Our eight-year-old daughter loved the house and felt immediately at home. Highly recommend it and hope to someday stay there again.

We couldn’t be more happy with our stay at Raffaella’s!! She and her husband Claudio were both incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were so enjoyable to be around. They were very accommodating, flexible, and easy to communicate with. They helped us with directions and had many recommendations. The space was very clean, and they had every convenience to make our stay easy and homey. We were particularly impressed with the bathroom! It was updated, very clean, and had a nice shower. We also appreciated the filtered water system for cooking and bathing. The other highlight was the view off of the balcony! We had scheduled to be out most of the day, but it would have been the perfect spot to stay in and relax- soaking in the Tuscan countryside. The homemade breakfast was delicious!! Our only regret is that our trip was too short!! We wish we could have stayed there longer and spent more time with them! They were a wealth of knowledge and truly beautiful people.

WOW. What a great place to stay We loved the Air B&B that Carlotta rented to us. The accommodations were fantastic. The roof top patio looking at the Duomo and Bell Tower were stunning and even more beautiful at night. The home was in the perfect place in Florence. Really close to everything we wanted to see. Just below Carlotta’s place was a great gelato place and a fantastic restaurant. Carlotta was a great host. She was very responsive to my many questions and pointed out a few things on a map for us. Can’t wait to get back. Thank you Carlotta for making our stay memorable. Alan

I had a satisfying stay at Tommasso's place. The house is located in the Tuscan Apennines, close to the Mugello circuit and the Bilancino Lake. In an area on the mountain. Very nice. It has been ideal to disconnect and practical to visit Florence, as it is located only about 3 km from San Piero a Sieve, a town where you can take the train that takes you to the central station of Florence (Santa María Novella), which, in turn, leaves in the heart of the city center and all the monuments and places of interest to visit. The accommodation is complete, with kitchen/dining room and living room on the ground floor and bathroom and upstairs bedrooms. It was clean upon arrival and very friendly host Tommasso gave check-in instructions and had the attention to leave something for breakfast and a pellet bag for the heating stove. Also, he was interested during the stay if I needed anything. All 10. If you want to improve something...put a toaster

Sonia was incredible. She was so welcoming and had amazing and clear recommendations, tips, and instructions for the area. We really enjoyed the property and the incredible views it had to offer. I would recommend this spot to anyone trying to see the Chianti region and/ or Florence!

We felt very comfortable right from the beginning. We loved the delicious wine, a filled fruit bowl as well as cheese and sausage to welcome you. The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and you can enjoy the tranquility. It is suitable as a starting point for day trips in the area. We will be happy to come back!

We booked this place as our base of operations for our visit to Florence and the surrounding area. Going into Florence was super easy: five minutes by car, free parking at the station, and frequent trains right into the center of Florence. Sure beats driving in the city! The loft studio itself was lovely, with wood beam ceilings, stone floors, a big picture window to the garden, but also very good curtains for privacy. And it was great to have breakfast ready for us each day!

Amazing host! Helped us carry our luggage with the kid. Very aesthetic house with all the amenities, felt like home after a tiring day. Loved the morning view from kitchen balcony, Florence at its best. Would love to stay here again if we ever come back to Florence.

Silvia treats all her guests like friends and goes out of her way to make them feel welcome. The rental was spotless and pristine with an amazing breakfast setup. Rooms were clean and as was the bathroom. She had a nice kitchen setup; breakfast items, cutlery, fridge, snacks. She also has a washer that she allowed us to use. Silvia is very passionate about hospitality and it shows with her conduct; one of the guests broke a glass and she didn’t charge or make a big deal about it even after the guest offered to pay for it. When we wanted an early check in due to our scheduling, she not only accepted but also carried pretty heavy luggage 2-3 floors up to check us in after room clean up (we weren’t there as we had an engagement elsewhere in the morning). I recommend her with the highest regards and trust. Should I return to Florence, Silvia will be my first contact; her place was that great.

Easy to get into the apartment. Security is very good. Very nice interior with good quality furnishings. There’s a “library “ of materials on Florence including a Rick Steves’ travel guide. This was a real bonus! Lorenzo was friendly, easy to work with and proactive with information. Appreciated the washing machine and dryer which were handy. Kitchen had all the basics as well as a bowl of portable snacks. Right on the bus line. Overall an excellent place to stay.

We had a wonderful week at this beautiful flat! Everything was spotless upon arrival – the cleanliness was truly impressive. The bathroom was one of the highlights, with a fantastic jacuzzi that made our stay feel extra relaxing and luxurious. The apartment was not only well but also very generously equipped – from kitchen essentials to thoughtful extras, everything we could possibly need was there. I personally appreciated the fresh and crisp bed sheets, the generous amount of towels, and the great selection of pillows – these details made a big difference. Everything was clearly prepared with a lot of love and care, and we felt at home immediately. A big thank you to Gianluca for being such a wonderful host, and to Alessandro, who gave us a warm welcome, helped with our luggage, and provided clear instructions about where to park. Their attention to detail and kindness really made us feel home. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and are already hoping to come back soon!

Angelo was a great host with proactive approach . Apartment was very clean and well equipped. The neighborhood is quiet, with good local restaurants and cafes, close to the city center and all museums. Highly recommended!

Nice location if we can keep luggages would be much better as Florence is a tourist city.

We had a very pleasant stay with Adam. Everything was taken care of by the host to the last detail. It is a beautiful house with nicely decorated, comfortable rooms. This is where truly Tuscan elements come back. In the morning we enjoyed a nice breakfast outside in the garden! In any case, we found a wonderful address for when we go back to Tuscany 👌🏼

Extremely warm welcome on a beautiful green property directly overlooking the river. At the breakfast table, you could talk to other guests and get or share a few travel tips and experiences. Overall a very open, casual atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

Great location and great place to stay. The views from the rooms were amazing.Steven was a great host and gave us good recommendations for local restaurants. The place is very calm and quiet and it was a very enjoyable stay.

I recommended staying here to get away from the rush of central Florence but still be a step away from all the action very friendly with great recommendations and accommodated our needs we would stay here again!

If the place is available, simply book it—you won’t regret it! The area is peaceful and beautiful, and the property is superbly clean and fully equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked, there’s a fantastic espresso coffee machine, the beds are comfortable, and even wireless chargers are provided for phones. Breakfast was exceptional—it was unreal to wake up to freshly baked bread and vegetables from the garden. All in all, you won’t regret staying here!

What a hidden gem!! Charming house with beautiful interior design and garden. Host is super friendly and of Italian origin so we also took a super good cooking course at her place. Thanks Eleonora! We come back in good weather ;-)

We were in Cecina for a few days and had a good time at Benedetta's. We spontaneously arrived earlier and were then allowed to check in with self check-in - it was no problem at all. All the rooms were very clean and everything was furnished with attention to detail. The breakfast was delicious and we got great tips on what we could do (even without a car). The other guests were also really nice. Thanks for the stay!!

We were guests in Alessandra's B&B for 3 nights, she was very kind, friendly and helpful. Dedicated parking space, clean room equipped with all the necessary amenities, good and abundant breakfast, Alessandra was so kind as to let us have breakfast even after having gone over the scheduled time. Absolutely recommended.
