A bright and tidy two-room apartment with a sauna on the shore of Lake Jyväsjärvi. The house, completed in 2019, is in the Rantaraita housing fair area. The spacious glazed balcony opens up to an unobstructed lake view towards the city center. Swimming beach. Private parking space next to the downstairs door. The area has beautiful and diverse hiking trails and a disc golf course. The apartment is fully equipped (extensive tableware, appliances, sleeping arrangements for four people, 65" smart TV with streaming services, air heat pump, hanging chair, etc.).

Pihakammari (winter habitable)

Pihakammari is located in the vicinity of Alvar Aalto's home; Aalto's experimental house and Säynätsalo municipal hall are 2-3 km away, Muurame church 7 km from the accommodation. The experimental house can be seen along the ice route. The accommodation has a kitchen equipped with dishes, a coffee and kettle and a microwave, as well as a refrigerator. Breakfast supplies are for you, go ahead. Traditional Finnish yard sauna for rent in the summer, with swimming in the lake. There's no wifi in the chamber.

You can enjoy yourself on the large glazed balcony. You will sleep comfortably in a 160 cm wide double bed, additional guests will sleep on a 140 cm wide sofa bed, 0-2 year olds in a travel bed. Close to the beach, there are hiking trails and a playground. You can easily reach us by car or public transport.

Welcome to our home! Our apartment is peaceful and cozy. We are a local writer/artist and a musician. During the summertime you spend time on our small balcony – you might see Lake Päijänne sparkling out there. Alvar Aalto's famous Säynätsalo Town House is just a few minutes walk away. Apartment is located on the 1st floor. However, there is a few stairs to the our door. There are two double beds in our apartment – one in a bedroom and one in a alcove.

In the summertime, you can see leafy maple and yard oak branches from the windows, while in the winter, the nearby Jyväsjärvi remains on the horizon. As a host, you can be alone in the shelter of a small house. From the highway you can reach by car in a few minutes to our place.
