I cannot say enough about the beauty of this location. The view is unbelievable. The house is so well sited to take advantage of the view. The porch is gorgeous and soaking tub is lovely. The house is glass on two sides to take full advantage of the view but also completely private. Modern decor with a serene and peaceful vibe. Isaac responded immediately to our questions when we arrived. Great weekend getaway. We will definitely stay here again!

La ubicación de la cabañita es perfecta, aparte que está súper equipada con todo!!! Hasta freidora de aire, es pequeña pero perfecta, y si le ponemos el millón de estrellas que se ven gracias a la poca contaminación de luz que hay, y escuchar el viento en los árboles, no tiene precio, la recomiendo mil veces!!

Un lugar perfecto para una escapada de la ruidosa ciudad muy cómodo y acogedor un lugar perfecto para construir memorias 😍

La cabaña con todas las condiciones y comodidades. Ambiente de paz. Calentadores y cobijas suficientes. Agua caliente. En general fue una experiencia muy agradable. Muy cerca de chespiritos 3.

La cabaña fue perfecta para desconectarnos de la ciudad. Tenía todo para poder cocinar y utilizar la chimenea. Andábamos con mi hijo de 4 años y también amo el lugar, el espacio era perfecto para compartir en familia, comer y ver películas con el calor de la chimenea. Tiene muchas atracciones rurales hermosas, naturales y cafeterías para probar el mejor cafe de Costa Rica. El Jacuzzi fue difícil de entender cómo encender pero al final lo logramos y la ubicación de waze estaba un poco desfasado pero al final le preguntamos a alguien de la comunidad y llegamos (entramos por la ruta de Desamparados, Frailes, si hubiéramos hecho la ruta desde el Guarco hubiéramos llegado super bien)

Definitely a gem! I love San Luis and this is a great place to stay. The cabin is super cute and the property is gorgeous. I loved the rainbow eucalyptus trees right outside the cabin. The amenities were very nice, super relaxing - especially the infrared sauna and the yoga area, which both have a view of the distant waterfall. I especially enjoyed doing yoga while watching toucans fly from tree to tree in front of me :)

An in prompt to last minute booking that exceeded expectations. Only there for a quick stay over, but was just everything that we needed at the time. Simple, open, natural and very comfortable. The peacefulness of the sounds were nothing short of perfect. And the villa gave you the most appropriate platform to take it all in. Thank you Claudio! I hope to have any excuse to visit again! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful area, and staying in Osvaldo's cabin made it even more special. The views and privacy were appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, including space heaters and many blankets. It is quite chilly at that elevation! My husband is tall and had to be careful of his head upstairs. This area has many marvelous birds, including a family of Acorn Woodpeckers who live under the roof; now and then we heard them shuffling around above us at night. We had nice meals at Gema del Bosque and La Tapir. Miriam's Quetzals has good breakfast and coffee, and truly outstanding birdwatching on the back deck!

This place is fantastic. Big and spacious. Peaceful and quiet. We had hoped for lots of birds and more wildlife, but that was practically nonexistent. The place is fairly close to Santa Maria, which offers everything you would need for supplies and some great restaurants. If you are a larger group, this is the perfect place. Especially if you have kids. The soccer field was awesome. We would stay here again, and Gustavo and his group of helpers were very responsive and on top of everything! Thanks for helping make our stay wonderful.

Nos encantó el lugar. Está muy bien equipado y es muy bonito. También está en el puro centro de Santa María. Los anfitriones dieron instrucciones claras y respondieron rápido. Quedamos con ganas de volver más días. El bus/hospedaje está dentro de una propiedad en donde hay otra cosa, lo cuál lo hace seguro y también hay privacidad. Gracias!

Nos encantó nuestra estadía, amamos el aire acondicionado en la habitación, la cama es muy espaciosa y cómoda, se sentía mucha paz y pudimos apreciar un atardecer bellísimo, la cocina está completa! todo muy bonito, fueron sumamente comunicativos con nosotros y muy pendientes! muy agradecidos.

Costa Rica is more than just beaches & surfing. Ruben’s mountain cabin has beautiful views, a private “eco-spa” in the stream, and a swimming hole nearby, fruit trees, and birds of all kinds including Toucans. It’s a short walk to the market and bus stops, a 15 min trip to San Isidro by car or taxi, and a half-hour to Dominical. Days are hot and it gets cool at night, and it is always quiet, just the sounds of nature - reminds me of being at a cottage in Canada in summer.

Luis was a wonderful host. Very attentive and responsive, and had no problem answering our questions despite the language barrier. All the necessities were available, as well as extras we didn't expect. His family even gave us a small parting gift for each of my young children on our last day. The house is in a beautiful location; somewhat difficult to find at first through the winding mountain roads, but once we knew where it was it was nice to have such a private spot. The view is absolutely breathtaking. Having a morning coffee on the patio looking out over the valley was my favourite part of our trip!

Wow, I slept well next to the river & felt very secure. Read a book or sunbathe in the beautiful surroundings. You can float in a luxurious pool while soaking in lush greenery. It was very peaceful, beautiful, and private. There are ceiling fans, A/C, and a stove - a very comfortable and clean place. I especially liked the bath robes.

Place was great in a local small town with The space was just as described with an incredible view. Was great to be further from the main tourist town but close (30 min drive to Sierpe) My only comment was that there was no provided shampoo as listed. The second bedroom is also on the second floor (loft) and was very hot.

Omali’s place was extremely beautiful, peaceful, and exactly as described- truly a place to go that feels like a home away from home. Upon entering the property, it felt very private, quaint, & inviting. All the amenities you could need were right there. Her home is literally walking distance from Nauyaca’s office entrance and that’s exactly what we were hoping for. If we didn’t have the rest of the country to explore, I could’ve done a few more days at Omali’s home because of how inviting and relaxing it is. Thank you so much for your hospitality. I will DEFINITELY be recommending this location to the friends and family that plan to visit Costa Rica 💚

¡Una excelente experiencia! La relación precio-calidad es muy buena, la cabala estaba impecable y muy linda. El lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro, y aún así cerca de cafeterías y supermercados para cualquier necesidad. Cecilia es muy atenta. ¡Nos encantó el lugar y volveríamos sin dudarlo!

Perfect central location big hill to get to it though, the cooking pans could do with being replaced as they were abit scratched and old, could do with more plates and knives also, was a very good host and helped out a lot when bbq ran out of gas it was replaced within an hour, not sure if its mentioned but the pool is shared I originally thought it wasn’t, other then that it was perfect and very safe with gates to get in and out

Seidy and her husband are incredible hosts. The house is better in real life than pictures on Air B&B can reveal! Highly recommend this spot. Our family felt right at home & wished we could have stayed longer. Very private and quiet. Active working farm. Again...Seidy is so kind. She met us at the door when we checked in, had fresh eggs, apples, tea and avocados waiting in the kitchen. She even offered to make us breakfast in the morning, which was beautiful and delicious! The house is incredibly clean. Do not look further for another house in Dota/ Copey. Reserve with Seidy... excellent all-around!! (:
