Beachfront holiday rental in Saranac Lake

We rented "The Point" and it was perfect for our needs. The lake is only steps away!! The views of the sunrise, sunset and the stars were beautiful. We only stayed for a long weekend and we were wishing we had planned for an entire week. If you need a place to unwind and regroup, and you like a rustic feel...this is the place.

My wife and I just spent one of the more enjoyable weeks in our long history of visits to the Adirondacks. Jerry and Linda’s log cabin on Middle Saranac Lake is, quite simply, a treasure. Awesome location right on shoreline. Very nice man (Dan) motored us across the lake. Rustic but very comfortable. Spectacular views. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Propane lighting throughout. Weber grill on porch. Two kayaks and one canoe included. Aluminum boat (also included) with electric start Honda was perfect. Lots of tiny islands nearby. Hot (very!) shower, flush toilet. Swimming right from dock. Sandy beach close by. Sunsets, sunrises, total peace and serenity. Just what we were hoping for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You will too! David and Debbie B

I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

We've had a wonderful stay at the cottage on the lake. From the moment you arrive, you find the peace and serenity you came for. The stairs to the water are a short walk to views and daily sunsets. The cottage is well stocked and cozy for winter nights. Cell service and wifi keep you connected. Pratt's General Store is well-stocked and a five minute ride, and Middlebury is only 20 minutes away. Would recommend to any looking to re-connect with nature and the beauty that is Vermont.

Can’t thank Suzanne enough for such an amazing stay! Perfect for our family of 4. Our boys loved the bunk beds. Every room had exactly what we needed. We all wished we could have stayed longer. We didn’t want to leave. Suzanne went above and beyond stocking the place, and even provided tube for us to have fun in the snow! I also loved that many of the soaps were more natural (free and clear or essential oils) as I’m sensitive to many fragrances. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you Suzanne!

Lovely barn in picturesque Vermont. More than glamping but not cushy living. Shower gets hot immediately, full kitchen. We were there in October so the barn gets very cold. Bedding was nice and warm, and we slept amazingly well but hanging in the living room was hard given how cold it was. Must layer up! Jeff was lovely and kind. The surrounding towns are nothing short of quaint and charming. Loved our stay!

This is the Adirondack charm, but with much clear beds and kitchen ware. All you need. We will be back.

Our second year renting Jeff’s place and it was just as great as the previous. As always, Jeff is a responsive host and is very timely in getting back to us. The house is still great, a few new updates were nice like the new stove. And like previous year, you can’t beat the views! 5/5 thanks Jeff and Family!

This is a very nice Adirondack camp, with beautiful Long Lake right in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and clean. We found everything we needed. Large windows offer a great view of Long lake. Our host was very responsive. One thing to know is that if you are staying in this house in cold weather you may hear mice in the attic, but this is not unusual in Adirondack camps such as this one. Overall, we recommend this house on beautiful Long Lake to anybody looking to stay in the area.

Our whole experience with our stay was just wonderful! The host was super with their communications, the house was in FANTASTIC condition, and we totally enjoyed the quiet and relaxing getaway. We definitely plan on visiting again.

You can feel Mary’s deep love for this magical retreat and her genuine care for her guests even through the listing description and beautifully captured photos. She thoughtfully anticipates every guest's need, from the delightful welcome basket and thoughtful treats to the cozy rugs and blankets provided for stargazing. Every detail is designed to make you feel at home while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. We were absolutely enchanted by this place—words simply can't capture how extraordinary our stay was. You have to experience this serene dreamland yourself!

Our stay was amazing! We were moving our daughter into her dorm at UVM and were in Burlington for a week. We decided to stay here rather than a hotel near campus. It was the best decision ever. Jack and Robin’s cottage was the perfect place to prepare for dorm move-in. We were able to get out and explore the area. The sunrises over Lake Champlain were beautiful while we drank our morning coffee. Walks on the causeway were great for watching sunsets. 10/10 will stay here again when we visit our daughter at UVM. Go Catamounts!

Exactly as described - peaceful unit overlooking a beach on Lake Champlain. Short drive to area restaurants and about a 15-minute drive to the waterfront park area of Burlington. We loved the unobstructed view of mountains across the lake.

Love the views! Great lakefront access and beautiful surroundings. It is right off a main road so there is some road noise but it’s not too bad. The house is very cozy and everything worked great. Beds aren’t very comfortable… we had 6 men in our party, all about 35-45 years old and everyone was a little achy when they woke up with back pain. But not too bad. Overall we had a great stay; would definitely recommend!

Lovely home and would 100% visit again. The porch sitting over Lake Champlain is one of a kind - we saw many of the surrounding properties from the water during our time in Essex and I don’t think there’s another porch in town with that type of water view - can’t beat it! We spent 10 days in late August with our 3 yr old daughter and some grandparents in/out over the course of the visit. The home was perfect for our getaway. The hosts, Lisa and John were flexible and welcoming. The space had everything we needed for our stay - kitchen was great and we cooked many meals at home. The open kitchen/dining/living floor plan is perfect for spending time together and so cozy… all alongside an unbeatable view.

This house was perfect for our family, the kids loved being right by the lake. Having a fire pit, grill, water activities and quick access to the main roads made for a great weekend. The place was immaculate with more than enough for our stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was extremely courteous and responsive, making the check-in process seamless and hassle-free for all of us. The home was well-maintained and set in a calm, serene environment—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The deck overlooking the lake was definitely the highlight of our stay, offering a breathtaking view of the fall colors. We all agreed that we would definitely recommend this place to our friends & family and are looking forward to coming back again. It was an amazing experience for everyone

I was very happy with the location and how easy it was for me to bring my kids on the lake and learn to fish. Beautiful views and a pleasant place to stay.

I was looking for a place that felt like “home away from home” since we were meeting our daughter and son-in-law for a New England fall weekend. This place absolutely met those expectations. We were able to prepare a meal together and share it at a lovely table in front of a fire. These are the type of things that are important to me, and this definitely felt like home. There is no higher compliment that I can give. The owners were super responsive. I would come back, for sure, and would recommend this beautiful lake front cabin.

Me and my friends attended a bachelor party here. We had a phenomenal time. This place has sensational views, great trails, great fishing, the local town is truly beautiful. The location is private quiet and a great place to relax. I highly recommend!

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

This is the perfect spot for a family get away. Everyone felt right at home- even kids and dogs :). The weather when we were there was Adirondack "unsettled" but the house had great space for playing with the kids, rocking on the awesome porch swing and, even in the rain, a safe private road for walking. Bob was super responsive with communication and questions. The house is super close to Saranac, Placid, hikes and paddles- if it wasnt " the days of covid" we would have spent time wondering more for sure.

Six adults stayed here over Winter Carnival Parade weekend in February 2025, and the space was perfect for three couples. The layout is well-designed, with bedrooms situated on different levels for added privacy. The master suite, located upstairs, features its own full bathroom, while the lower level has two additional bedrooms—one with a queen bed and another with a bunk bed—along with another full bathroom. Each bedroom has a closet, providing ample storage. A convenient half bath is located on the main floor, just inside the front door. The gathering space is cozy and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The fireplace adds a warm touch, especially on chilly winter nights. One suggestion for winter stays: it would be helpful to have a shovel available in the unit or on the porch to clear snow off the steps., as they can become quite slippery. Although we notified the owner, this remained an issue throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
