A great space, very quiet and peaceful! Close enough to town to walk but private and comfortable. Felt very safe, the space was very clean, and check in was very easy! Exactly what we wanted and more, we definitely recommend this space!

The La Bicok Ecolodge is a beautiful property with hummingbirds flitting about everywhere, a pool, an absolutely delicious and fresh breakfast that's included, comfortable beds, cute décor in the rooms, and very friendly staff. Close by to Quetzal chocolate which has the BEST brownie you'll ever eat in your life as well as other fantastic restaurants and shops however its far enough out that it feels peaceful, serene and private. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

THE HOSTS, VENECIA, HER HUSBAND AND FERNANDA, ARE EXCELLENT PEOPLE, VIRTUOUS, VERY KIND AND ALWAYS ATTENTIVE TO ANY CONCERN. THE PLACE PROVIDES A LOT OF RESPECT FOR INDIVIDUALITY AND PRIVACY. I recommend it 100%.

Lovely stay! Beautiful scenery and lovely, well-kept grounds. Convenient location that was a 5 minute walk to the main plaza.

This is a unique blend of indoor/outdoor living, with many open walkways and spaces to sit outside and enjoy nature, while still being covered from the elements. The house is a bit of a walk down a path/hill, but is worth it to be immersed in the surrounding cloud forest. The sounds of the nearby river and waterfalls, as well as the animal chorus are fantastic. The house is well appointed, spacious and a really unique place to stay. The hosts are responsive, and helpful. There is some ongoing construction happening to parts of the property - but none of this was happening during the stay, so there was no disturbance. It is a very private place, but still close to Mindo/Los Bancos for any needs. We really enjoyed the stay!

A great place to enjoy the charms of Mindo. The rooms are big, there's room to put things, and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower had hot water. In front of the cottage there is a table and a bench where you can sit. The host was very kind and communicative, gave us tips on what to do in Mindo. There are taxis right outside the hostel to take you to the trails. Optimal location. Recommended!
