We were a group of 4 hosted by Rupanjana's dad. Rupanjana was always available on call and helped us with local recommendations and directions. The place was peaceful and beautifully decorated with a cozy and comfortable vive.

Its plain vanilla ice cream, exactly what it should be. It calm and peaceful, clean amicable. Well maintained and tastefully decorated.

We were a family of 9, including 2 kids, who had the utmost pleasure of spending one night at Akanksha. The property is exactly as it is described in the listing - a beautiful nest hugged by trees. The house is decorated so aesthetically and was utmost clean - we immediately felt at home. The kitchen had almost everything - I could have cooked up a grand feast in it :-) Manoj, the caretaker, was very diligent, responsive, polite and helpful. The interiors were not only exquisite, but the entire setup including light fixtures showed that someone had taken great care to decorate the place in a way that people of all ages can relax and spend a memorable time. The garden area is substantially big to allow the kids and adults enjoy a game of badminton / gully cricket and the house dog was an added sweet companion for us. I would highly recommend everyone in my family, friend and colleague circle to board this place whenever they visit Shantiniketan.

We went two days before holi and hence did not get parking in the property on the first day. They ask for Aadhar card photocopy for each guest before entry. Electric rickshaws carry you and the luggage from the main gate to the place you are staying. Checkin takes around 10-15 mins. The complex is beautiful. It is very green and just staying at the complex itself is worth it. There are 2 bedrooms on the first floor. One has a cupboard and one does not. The one cupboard is 50% filled with mattresses etc. The ground floor has an open kitchen and living room which is great. AC in the bedrooms, none on the ground floor. Enough and more ventilation though. The kitchen can do with more cleaning. One bathroom on the ground floor without hot water. One on the first floor with hot water. Both are clean. Ruban is not the owner but manages the property remotely. He has people in the property who help with cleaning and cooking too if you want. Overall the complex is really worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful duplex bungalow called BIROTI, nestled in the serene Aamar Bari. Although it’s about 5 km from the bustling center, the peaceful surroundings, adorned with blooming flowers, truly make it a hidden gem. The bungalow itself felt like a safe haven, beautifully decorated and inviting. It features two cozy bedrooms, each with its own adjacent bathroom. The first floor boasts two lovely balconies—one that overlooks the charming front yard and the other that opens up to a picturesque view of the backyard and endless farms. While I adored every aspect of the place, I did notice that a little extra dusting would enhance the overall experience, as it felt a tad dusty in some areas. One of the highlights for me was the backyard, where we got a bonfire arranged that created a warm, magical atmosphere on a chilly winter night. What truly made my stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Bapi Da, the caretaker. He went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable, well-fed, and had everything I needed. His warmth and kindness made me feel like I was visiting a relative rather than staying at a rental. Whether it was arranging home-cooked meals or assisting with local sightseeing. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to be.

a cosy villa sorrounded by mango trees with mangoes at an arms reach, beautiful flowers, a Gondhoraj lemon shrub with loads of the fruit, beautiful lawn. the villa is aesthetically done, simple yet elegant, kitchen is well equipped,one can carry groceries if you want to cook. then there is cook who can also cook food upon request. The care taker Prodeep is very efficient, helpful. everything was perfect, pick up from station was provided, everything was hasslefree.pleasant trip. shall plan another visit in winter .

It was a good experience staying at Mr Mukherjee's place. Felt right at home. The garden is beautiful with lots of trees, flowers and butterflies. There were many birds chirping as if it was spring time. We even experienced some kal boishakhi rain and its petrichor. Everyone, especially my three year old had a relaxing and enjoyable time. We shall definitely visit again. And, Mr Mukherjee is a great host. Always super responsive and helpful. He called to check on us many times during our stay. Highly recommended.

Clean and worth of stay!! Clean , modern and aesthetic rooms with best caretaker! And what a cook!! You will love her food more than anything just bring in the raw materials or inform them what food you’re planning to have beforehand they will do all the arrangements! At last worth everything ❤️

Beautiful . Sunflowe garden and agriculture . Nature all around us. The horizon of trees. The cottage surrounded by flowers . And a wonderful host and caretaker. Homely, cordial as if my relative. God willing will visit again.
