Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Santiago

The place was spacious, way larger than the photos present. It was a lovely surprise. The house, community and host welcomed us as if we were family. The host was very communicative and helpful. The neighborhood is walkable, peaceful, safe, beautiful, with a beach up the road. There are restaurants around and stores walking distance. We are very lucky and grateful to have found this place and definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this authentic little house in the Picos Valley. A peaceful place where simplicity reigns. In addition, Lina's little dishes delighted us. We discovered the traditional Cape Verdean cuisine. Lina is a discreet neighbor who cares about the well-being of hosts. Our children enjoyed accompanying her husband to feed the animals. In short, a place with a beautiful soul.

Very nice spacious villa, very responsive and available host, in a quiet residential area and accessible amenities, 10 minutes walk from the beach. Also, the air conditioning in each room, and the cozy outdoor area with very clean pool are very nice.

We enjoyed the quiet stay at Dinohelders place in the hills of Santiago. The house has a very tasty interior design and we felt at home from the beginning. The garden is beautiful with all the plants and the pergola is beautiful. People living around the area are super helpful and friendly. You'll see all kinds of farm animals around the property. There are nice hiking opportunities available right from the house. Thanks again for letting us stay at this beautiful place.

Our stay at Filipa's house was simply sensational, one of the best experiences I've ever had on Airbnb. From the beginning, she was extremely attentive and helpful, helping us to resolve everything we needed quickly and sympathetically. The house was shining, clean, well cared for and with all the details thought out for the comfort of the guests. A special highlight is Filipa's flexibility with schedules… She allowed us to enjoy the city even more without rushing. Filipa really made ALL the difference on the trip and we are very grateful for that. Recommend with eyes closed!!!

A friend and I stayed at Maria's place as we were visiting Calheta for the first time. From my initial outreach to Maria, she was always responsive and very accommodating. Maria and her family were very welcoming and friendly. They hosted us for a lovely breakfast and a few unexpected friends even came over. Maria's place is in a very walkable area and close to a beautiful cliff over looking the ocean. Highly recommend.

It was really great, Guillaume is very friendly and helpful. There are a few animals in the kitchen but everything is well sealed, so that's not a problem. Great location with beach nearby! Spacious and beautiful apartment. We felt comfortable, thank you for this great stay

Lavinia was very responsive, answered all our questions and even in a special way, providing convenience to facilitate our stay. The parents we met nearby were also very pleasant, with ideas and suggestions about the city to discover.

Luis was responsive and a great host. He managed our transport from airport to accommodation. The place was really good for that price. Spacious and clean flat.

Natacha is a great host, friendly and pleasant. She picked us up at the airport with her husband and we took a short drive to show us the different beaches. She helped my husband to put a SIM card in the phone by going with him to a specialised shop. We had a great stay at Natacha's in a quiet area and the apartment is well located for transport with restaurants and food shops nearby. We recommend

Very nice apartment in a very good location. The coastal road as well as a stretch of beach and the great restaurant Hola Orla are very close. The large beach and central square are a 10-minute walk away.

The stay was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The accommodation is very large, with sea views and sunsets. The natural pools are a 30-minute walk away, and the pretty black sand beach is 10min away. The village is very cute and the locals very welcoming. Zeza responds to messages very quickly, and made our stay a lot easier by giving us information about the activities and she even booked us a day with a guide to hike in Serra Malagueta. Thanks again!

My stay at Casa Riviera was very good. The accommodation was large and spacious, with a cute little terrace. It was clean and nice. A very advantageous point, there is an affordable car rental agency just opposite which is great. I advise you to rent a car for 3-4 days to visit the whole island at your own pace. The beach is about 10 minutes' walk away. I recommend it:) Also, there are a lot of grocery stores nearby so it's great. Restaurant point: there is a brunch nearby Adèle good value for money.

JEWELRY! The dream apartment! Super comfortable, very well decorated, accessible on foot or by car, close to the sea and restaurants. Erico is an amazing host, proactive, responsive, warm, welcoming and very available. Very small downside for the water pressure but Erico has the solution to this problem. Bravo again and thank you! I recommend closing my eyes!

We enjoyed staying at Sandro's apartment, everything was very organized and clean. My daughter felt right at home, she was still able to watch Netflix and we enjoyed exploring the nearby restaurant where they sell the best “catxupa, couscous, as well as fresh bread and coffee” This place is highly recommended, especially if you are traveling with your family.

The house is very good, very clean and tidy, close to a central avenue and with a shower that works. The kitchen is equipped with necessities. Maria has been very attentive to everything, and has helped us with all our questions. However, if you come in summer, it's quite hot and there's no air conditioning.

I highly recommend staying at Carlos, the flat is extremely clean and we felt super comfortable. The area is safe and restaurants nearby are delicious. Carlos is a very nice and friendly person.

Despite the language barrier, Eunice has always been available and friendly. The apartment is perfect and the area in which it is located is very quiet, even if a little far from the centre (but in 10 minutes on foot you can reach a lively area with many taxis). Recommended!
