Private and nice cabin. It was comfortable for the two of us. Setup for coffee and a mini fridge. The sound of the birds and the quiet lake in the morning was wonderfull.

Honestly the best AIRBNB I've ever stayed at. It was incredible. The morning view over the pool to the comfortable amenities in the house... everything was perfect. The pictures don't do this home justice. Although it's a little secluded from the big city, I personally enjoyed the privacy of it. It's about 45 mins from this place to La Fortuna. Carlos was very responsive and helpful through the whole process. I'll definitely have this spot pinned for the future.

Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

Ideal for those looking for peace, pure air and a genuine rest. The attention was excellent, everything was very clean and well taken care of.
