James is a great host..The living space was very comfortable and the building is well managed and maintained. The private outdoor veranda with a table and chairs provides a view of the malecon, the beach and the sea is really nice as well. He also put together a really good and very detailed "welcome folder" full of great suggestions, where to go and what to look out for.... very helpful. The custodian of the building Pedro was usually at the door entrance is a very nice man . I recommend and look forward to the next visit to Salinas and hope the apartment will be available again!

This house and Tania were one of the best places and hosts ive ever had had the pleasure of staying at. The place is beyond perfect for rest and relaxation, the outside porch then inside netted porch are great for sitting and all the windows on the inside of the house make it great for being inside all the same. It is close to town to do any simple shopping and close to the beach to swim or surf. Montanita and Manglaralto, a little more lively towns for partying are only a $1-$2 cab away or a walk if you dont mind a small hike. It is a tropical location in a small town, so it does rain and mud is around but Tania supplies boots if needed, but my sperrys did the job just fine without getting mud everywhere. The dogs are the cutest and nicest pups, once you get to know them they'll love you and always greet you with wagging tails. 20/10 recommendation for a place, whether for 3 days or 3 months (I stayed 3 months) and I will definitely be back again.

Beautiful location with a quiet beach right outside the front door. Amazing sunsets can be seen from my upper-level apartment balcony, with a comfy hammock to top it off. The apartment was exactly as pictured, very well kept and clean with an extremely functional design! Oscar has thought of everything when it comes to the design of this place! I loved the overall vibe and aesthetic of the apartment.✨ Oscar himself was also a wonderful and kind host with lots of local recommendations for great restaurants and things to see/experience! Very responsive and ready to help with anything! Couldn't be happier with the place and my stay!🌞🌊 Also, taxis come right to the door to take you to town for $1.50, so super easy and affordable to make your way to Montañita or wherever you wish to go! 5 stars all around.⭐
