You just found your hidden treasure in this updated and remodeled PMC cabin. The living room will be where you'll keep your tootsies toasty warm on cooler days. Step out back and take in the majestic view of Mt. Pinos. Stroll upstairs to find two bedrooms and another full bath. The bathroom has black slate radiant heated floors as well as river rock stone flooring in the shower. Enjoy the view again from the redwood deck off the master bedroom. Bring a toothbrush, a great book, a friend or two.

If you want a nice, quiet space full of pretty things to return to after short walks and/or drives to Pismo attractions, it would be hard to do better than this. Hosts brimming w good recs for activities and eats, and they provide a well-appointed space with clear and simple rules. Thanks!

I was in Oak View for the Ojai Music Festival. Mary's place is about 5 miles away, very convenient and much less expensive than places in town. The apartment itself is darling. Very cozy but more spacious than I expected, well furnished, comfortable bed, nice bathroom. Though attached to Mary's house, it's very private and restful, with the faint sound of a fountain to lull you to sleep. Not only was Mary very welcoming, but her place came with a bonus if you're an animal lover: one friendly, enthusiastic little dog and two donkeys right outside the apartment! I heard them snorting softly a few times; they were very nice, quiet neighbors. I hope to stay with Mary next time I'm in the area.
