Cottage holiday rentals in Sandy Point

We had a gorgeous few days at Florence's beach house over the school holidays. It was the perfect base for a friend and I to explore with the kids in tow. Somers is such a hidden gem and Florence's place is well positioned walking distance to the beach and the delightful Sommers General store - great coffee and all the gourmet provisions you need for your stay. Also very easy location to explore other Peninsula highlights such as the Hot Springs and Enchanted Adventure at Arthurs seat! The beach house was gorgeous t come home to- really nicely styled and big bush block and outdoor fire pit were an added bonus. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next trip!

Our hosts had thought of everything from the supply of dog bowls, pristine dog beds and everything else you'd need for your beloved dog. Our dog Ivy was right at home from the moment she arrived. Our family had a wonderful Easter; the room layout suited us with our two adult children and their partners. The outdoor eating space allowed us to socialise in what is effectively the second living space, and the outdoor spa was a real treat after a long day of beach walks and relaxing. All beds were incredibly comfortable, plentiful hot water for showers and an easy walking distance to the beach and Somers General Store.

A perfect holiday. The house was comfortable with quality furniture and finishings and all the extra things that go towards creating an easy stay: cooking oil, salt & pepper, good cooking knives, extra towels for the spa, and clear instructions. We got a LOT of sleep due to the easy temperature control, quality bed and linen, absolute quiet and excellent blackout blinds. We particularly loved sitting in the spa while watching the parrots at the bird feeder.

We had a lovely stay! The host was very nice and always responded quickly to any questions we had, which made everything smooth and easy. The location is great—it's within a kid-friendly hotel, and we were able to access the hotel facilities, which was a big plus for our family. Everyone enjoyed the stay, and we'd definitely come back again. Highly recommend!

Was a beautiful one night stay, my wife and I enjoyed sitting by the fire and just spending time together in the little loungeroom. Was a great place to just get away from life and enjoy each others company. Anne-Marie was a really good host with helpful instructions everywhere and very simple entry and checkout. We'll be back one day

The kids and I had a lovely stay at Julie's place. House was very comfy and setting beautiful. Walking distance to town and lots to explore in the local area.

We had such a fantastic stay. The house is so thoughtfully pieced together and Tricia was such an accomodating host. Heater on got arrival, bottle of wine from the winery next door and offered flexibility with checking in and out. Fantastic property and host!

A beautiful, relaxing and homely stay. The space was very cosy with the log fire for a wintry weekend away. Lovely extra touches with fresh farm eggs and homemade strawberry jam in the fridge for us. Thank you Madeleine for your great hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful and cosy unit with the most comfortable beds, all the utensils we needed, linen included making we literally just had to take clothes and food. Walking distance to everything we needed our a short drive to anything else. Highly recommended

This place was by far the cosiest and the homeliest I have stayed. Cottage style in pristine cleanliness. Lovely touches to the home. From the coordinated colours to the smallest piece of furniture and decor. What topped it off was the piano and guitar my kids and I jammed to. There were lots of extra blankets and pillows if you needed some. Towels were plenty. The courtyard is a dream. I wish we had more time to stay longer. Tasha gave easy instructions from beginning to end. A home away from home! I highly recommend this gorgeous cottage style home.

The perfect weekend escape! Superbly ambient cottage, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, beautiful deck and gardens. David was an immaculate host; communicative, full of local knowledge/recommendations and amazingly flexible with check-in/check-out. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Our family of 4 with two toddlers had a great time here. loads of toys inside, books, games, DVDs. Trampoline and undercover play area outside. The place is did friendly which is a huge plus.

Diane was amazingly supportive of our very last minute getaway - she even set the fire ready for us as we wouldn’t be getting there until late on a cold winters day. The property is cute and quirky - super clean and lots of games, books, magazines, and DVDs. We didn’t go with kids but as parents we could see that Diane has made it as easy as possible for families. Lovely comfy bed, the kitchen was filled with anything we would need, and all info about the property, check in, and local things to do was provided in an easy guide. Very happy with our escape! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed 3 nights at Steve’s. Love the space available, saw wallaby and wild hares hopping about the grounds in the evening. Steve was very hospitable and responsive. Garage was full of activities we could play with, though w didn’t get through most of them. Love the Sweet blue theme with the doors and bunk bed. It had most everything we needed.

The two-night stay at Tindoona Cottages was absolutely wonderful. The peaceful setting and beautifully maintained garden created a serene atmosphere that felt like an escape. The cottage was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for comfort. What made the experience truly special were the small, heartfelt touches—like fresh veggies from the garden, lovely roses, and countless thoughtful details that added warmth and charm. Had a wonderful time staying at Cécile’s place, it was even better than the photos! The tub with a view was a definite highlight, and the location was perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway and stargazing at night. Cécile was such a thoughtful host - she left little surprises like the sparkling wine, marshmallows for the fire, and the set of bath salts :) Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy escape!

Lovely relaxing time in a pretty cottage. Natalie and Philip were great hosts and couldn’t be any kinder nor generous. 🌞 Many little touches to make you feel home, attentive details. A voyage nature and back in time with all the modern comforts. Fantastic fire 🔥 place to be enjoyed ! Relax, read, dream, play games? etc… 😉 The area has plenty to offer with beautiful beaches, sites of geological interest, and obviously Wilsons Promontory. 🐚🌅
