Holiday rentals with a pool in Sandy Lane

My wife and I, including our kids aged 6 and 3 really enjoyed our time at Monkey Corner (we did spot some monkeys as well!) - the tennis courts, pool house, club house and gym are all within walking distance. Our host, Brigitte, was very responsive throughout and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay - especially the day we arrived - saved us a couple of errands with the kids. The Villa was clean and modern with lots of seating around the place - our kids easily navigated the villa without us - we will stay again!

We stayed here very last minute as the other air bnb we booked wasn’t suitable. Andrew did everything possible to make it feel like home. It was perfect for us , the outdoor space was so peaceful and the beach only a short distance away. The space was immaculate and the beds super comfy. We would definitely recommend and return again.

We’re so glad we chose to stay at this stunning villa in such a prime location in Barbados. Just minutes away from Alleynes Bay and several other breathtakingly clear beaches, it truly couldn’t have been more ideal. The villa itself was beautifully designed, spotless, and fully equipped, making it feel like a true home away from home. Our hosts were incredibly responsive, offered fantastic recommendations, and went out of their way to make our stay special. The villa is situated in a modern, safe, and beautifully developed community built by some of Barbados’ finest builders. If you’re planning a trip to Barbados, don’t think twice, this is the perfect place to stay!

Absolutely loved staying in this very well appointed house. It had everything we could possibly need & was in walking distance of all the lovely restaurants in Holetown & the beach.

Tim and Sandy’s home was beyond beautiful! The kitchen is huge it’s fully stocked, super clean and the pool outside is gorgeous! Heather was wonderful and always available for any information you might need. The property is close to all beaches and restaurants. The grocery store is within walking distance. There’s a medical centre and pharmacy right on the corner. I definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting Barbados. We will for sure stay there again! Where to start? This place is out if this world. Natural, beautiful & homely. Between my family unit & our extended family we each booked one of the unique accommodations on site & it worked perfectly! Our children relished having the pool to themselves, feeding the Green Monkeys, venturing around the grounds, petting the family dogs & having a movie night. The adults all enjoyed slowing down, soaking up the sun & drink too much banks & local rum beverages courtesy of Peter & his good friend Don. We also all enjoyed pizza night & a few extra cook ups in the garden oven. Peter is an exceptional host, nothing is too much & he made us all feel right at home. Our youngest was unwell during our trip (not holiday related) and Peter helped us to get in touch with a brilliant local paediatrician, which we were extremely grateful of. If you're looking for an authentic experience of Barbados & want to enjoy bombing around the island & slowing down in nature then Oughterson is your place!

Ann is an exceptional host. Ann demonstrated great flexibility and responsiveness from our initial pre booking enquiries all the way through to our checking out after 13 wonderful days in Ann’s beautiful home. Upon arrival Ann took great care to explain everything we needed to know about the property, how things worked, the refuge regime, local information etc etc. As a host Ann’s overriding concern was for our enjoyment throughout our stay. Ann is in no way condescending as one previous reviewer suggested, Ann is simply a thorough, thoughtful and warm host. The property itself is truly fully equipped, very spacious, spotlessly clean and if anything is even better than the photographs suggest. The views are wonderful, the locality extremely convenient being within easy walking distance of a good sized supermarket, lovely sandy beach and very good restaurants. We have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending Villa Sophara.

We loved staying here. It has been our favorite place we’ve stayed in Barbados. Very close to the main street, imart, and beach. We enjoyed swimming and lounging by the pool. Seeing monkeys run through the area by the pool was an amazing sight to see. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Our stay at Jenna's place was wonderful. We didn't have a car, so we relied on our feet or buses, or taxis. The last ones are very expensive like the whole island. It is walkable distance to Massy supermarket, and the beach. Our favorite beach was the Brownies Beach, right after the Pebbles beach. For those you have to take a bus. There are also closes beaches by the main road. I would recommend to visit Botanical Garden where they feed monkeys twice a day at 11am or 2 pm, also visit Batsheba - the most beautiful views in Caribbean, Harrison Caves - so, so, definitely overpriced. Go for a walk at the boardwalk in the evening. The boardwalk starts at Rockley beach and goes a long the coast. The apartment itself is located in beautiful natural environment, golf course with old trees. Apartment had all that you need, there is also laundromat, and by the laundromat big room full of books ...thank you Jeena and Mark for the awesome stay!

This listing was great. Perfectly located near to restaurants and groceries. An ideal central location in my opinion and we felt safe as the compound is gated. Our luggage was lost but the list had a wash/dryer with detergent so we could keep our clothes clean until our luggage was returned to us. An overall great stay and I would recommend.

Wonderful stay in Barbados! I had an amazing time staying at The Allure in Barbados. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The ocean view from the balcony was breathtaking along with the rooftop pool. The property was peaceful and beautifully maintained. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive. Barbados itself is a beautiful island with friendly people, delicious food, and stunning beaches. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting. I would love to come back again. Karen’s place was absolutely perfect for me as a solo traveller. I was there for work but wanted to be close to everything (I had a car). The apartment itself is split level with a ladder / Stair up to the bed mezzanine. This gives you loads of space. With a really nice balcony overlooking the golf course. WiFi was super fast and the place is immaculate. If you’re into the more vibrant style of Barbados everywhere is reachable with a short walk and then a ride on the ZR’s from the main road. If you’re driving everything is within 20 mins max. Overall couldn’t ask for more and hope the place is free next time I’m back. Thanks so much!

Excellent location, great service from the gardener with Sunbeds on the beach each morning and the cleaner who came 3 times during our stay and replaced towels, removed rubbish and put clean sheets on the bed. Location is excellent for the beach and Holetown with its shops, bars and restaurants. I agree with some of the other reviews about the noise but it didn’t spoil the overall experience and we will definitely be back

Johns place was in very comfortable with fans in the living space and bedroom. It is in a great location for Worthing food court, St Lawrence Gap, Oistins and Bridgetown. Only 25 minutes from the airport. I would recommend staying here.

We had a fantastic stay! She was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. She even arranged a taxi for us at a great rate and allowed a late checkout. The home was stocked with 6 beach towels, beach toys, 1 snorkel mask, umbrella, 2 coolers, pool + arm floaties, making it great for kids. There is a very small charcoal grill however not sure where you would use it? The pool was peaceful, clean, + rarely used by others. A few notes: only bar soap provided + 2 rolls of toilet paper. No cooking oil or coffee grounds. Listing says 8 mins to beach, but it’s really 12 mins, 18 mins w/ small kids. One day, the water was off from 10am–8pm due to a main break (affecting whole area including hotels), but a neighbor shared some water to boil—so kind! Imart is nearby, though I got food poisoning from a pint of ice cream :( Heads-up: Bus is 3.50BDS, kids under 4 ride free on your lap, there’s a 10–12% service charge at some restaurants. Overall, Carol’s hospitality/place made our trip great!
