The apartment is comfortable for two people, independent, although it is in a building, where other people live. Very safe, it's in an inner courtyard. The kitchen is a good size, equipped, stocked with the basics for cooking; nice touch on arrival to have the first breakfast sorted. The bedroom is good, with space to hang clothes, a soft mattress, you can rest quietly without noise. There are no curtains to block the night light, but we improvise. The dining room and living room do the job. The bathroom is a good size, shower with abundant flow, towels and hair dryer are provided. In general, a good space. A drawback in hot weather (April, May) is that there is a lack of ventilation, the apartment heats up. There is no way to ventilate the bedroom at night. We brought a fan. The owner is very attentive and kind. He was always looking out for us for the two weeks. Yes, I recommend this stay.

I had a great time the first time around staying with Daniel (who was very responsive and helpful when I was initially mislead by Google Maps about the exact location, and welcomed me with a cold bottle of Coca-Cola and a liter of bottled water), partying all night with all the absolutely lovely people in Zimatlán de Álvarez, then comfortably sleeping and refreshing myself a bit. When I learned there was another night of "muerteadas" the next weekend, of course I came back to the exact same place for another great night of parties all over the village (with lots of 'old' new friends from the week before, and lots of even more new friends), again relying on this basic yet excellent place to comfortably recover before travelling onward to the next village for the next party. Notably positive for price: +++ Quiet enough for sleeping late at night, even though it seems there are loud parties going on all over the village +++ Shower gets hot quickly +++ Room on street level (no stairs)

Sarahi has the most beautiful home and rental room I’ve ever stayed through Airbnb! She very helpful and kind, went out of her way to make sure I had a taxi to the airport at 5am. I cannot praise her enough!
