House holiday rentals in San Miguel County

The outside wrap-around deck means you can find a sunny or shady spot as needed. For us, we were seeking sunny and out of the breeze. A great place to stay if you are wanting multiple trips to Ridgway State Park as it is a quick drive up the highway.

Great place to stay in Mountain Village. We had to get out of the Houston hurricane quickly with no power, and the place is super easy and the Peaks staff makes everything seamless. Highly recommend.

The condo was easy to access and well located. We felt right at home and comfortable. We appreciated the prompt responses and helpfulness of the host! We would stay there again.

Great location! Easy 5 minute walk to lift 7, convenient to Clark's market (3 minute walk), and convenient to old town Telluride. Unit was very clean & well stocked for the 4 of us (two couples) Appreciated the Ski Locker to store our skiis It's a 2 bedroom unit, 1 Master Suite with bath; 2nd bedroom is 2 twin beds, however, 2nd bathroom was upstairs which was fine during the day, a bit inconvenient at night, especially if you forget to keep the light on in the stairwell. But it worked fine for us. :) Appreciated the consistent updates and check in's, host was extremely responsive. Always wanted to be sure everything was going as it should be. Would definitely consider coming back.

It was the perfect stay. We didn’t need to drive any where. Most of Telluride was in walking distance but the place was also tucked away from the main road. I would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was wonderful. Ski-in/ski-out with ski valet service. Enjoyed the evening happy hours in the resort bar. Car valets were amazing. Incredible view from our condo. 15 min drive into Telluride. Only recommendation is the room could use some updating. Window shades wouldn’t stay open, the finishes are dated and the kitchen didn’t have many tools to cook with.

Great location, walking distance to restaurants and the grocery store. 5 mins walk to the Gondola and short walk to Lift 7. If you have a little one, the walk could be longer to the Gondola. The unit itself is a little dated but it has everything you need. Would definitely come back in this unit or in Viking Lodge

Home was beautiful and as pictured. Host was very accommodating and responsive. Peaceful and serene place to stay away from the ski mountain. We had plenty of space to cook, eat, check in with work, watch tv, and do puzzles in the living room.

We had a lovely stay in the country. It was quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Great location. Across the street from Siam, the Thai restaurant and the Wine store, and both were very good. Walk into town was just a few blocks, same for the Gondola up to Mountain village. 2 adults stayed downstairs, queen bed and bath. laundry on same floor. next level was kitchen/living area. 3rd level was King bedroom and bathroom. hot tub in king bed room. Never had a chance to use. The only issue we had was getting the temperature to our comfort level. Too warm or too cold. You get great views but a lot of sun coming in. Would stay again, but you have to be able to tolerate a lot of steps! Great weather and sat on the deck a couple days. Kitchen stocked with dishes and pots for cooking some dinners at home. Mostly ate out for lunch. Clarks grocery store is about a 6 min walk.

I don’t have the words to describe this restorative retreat outside of Telluride. The house was absolutely stunning, topped only by the breathtaking scenery outside the door. So quiet, at times all I could hear was the wind in the trees. At night we were under a canopy of stars, not only while sitting on the deck or in the hot-tub but also in the living room beside the floor-to-ceiling windows. We were so happy we stayed in Placerville instead of in town in Telluride. A unique and unforgettable Colorado experience!

PERFECT LOCATION!!! Less than two blocks from the heart of the historic Telluride! Great communication, easy to get to, and we found a lovely surprise when we checked in. Our gracious hosts Garrett and Jessica left us some tasty snacks including some fresh local peaches. Such a nice touch. This place is a gem. We'll be back very soon!!

You can’t beat this location for skiing in Telluride. Chair 7 is literally right out the door. Great garage parking spot. We were able to park a RAV 4 without any problems. The apartment is great. Very comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. The only complaint is that the twin beds are up a precarious ladder, that isn’t pictured. Maybe not suitable for young children to use.

We were extremely impressed with our first Airbnb rental and AvantStay. They were very friendly and helpful every time we had questions. The house was very clean, comfortable and in a great location. We would highly recommend both AvantStay and Sugarloaf.

Enjoyed our stay. Will use AvantStay again. Easy check-in, out process, good location.

Excellent home with wonderful amenities. The home is just as described, the setting is beautiful and convenient to the main roads and Placerville. There is an excellent General Store with breakfast sandwiches, coffee and some necessary items in the town. Alcohol is also available if desired from the store. While about a 25-30 min drive to:from Telluride, the location and amenities really are excellent and worth the short drive to/from town and the skiing. Internet was also fast and reliable making staying connected for business needs possible and needed as connection to cellphone service is limited at the house and you may need to use WiFi Calling instead with your cellphone/service. This worked great for each of us, so once on the WiFi we were connected for voice and text messages for AT&T & Verizon phones.

What a beautiful place! The views were spectacular and the location was perfect! Would stay here again!

Had high expectations given the price, and they were exceeded. Incredible location for walking to the gondola (four minutes), and the Bear Creek Trail is ten steps outside the front door. You can literally watch folks get on and come down the trail. Unit is super clean, cozy, and well-stocked. Parking is right in front of the unit. TV has all different kinds of options. We were provided all needed information well ahead of time, and logistics went perfectly. Thanks!
