Apartment holiday rentals in San Martino in Freddana

Our stay was incredible! This place is a gem. It’s peaceful, quiet and the atmosphere is so friendly. We brought our little girls with us and they were so sad to leave. The restaurant is fabulous- you have to go to pizza night! The pool was perfect. We had great communication with Sabrina. We hope to be back in the future:)

Francesco picked us up from the train station and drove us to our apartment. He walked us through everything in the apartment. He even came back later to assist us to get in when I couldn't work the key. Very friendly, responsive and helpful. The apartment was large, well equipped with good cooking facilities and washing machine. The apartment was a 2 minute walk from the historic city wall and bars and restaurants, great location.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay in this lovely apartment in Lucca. The location was perfect, and the apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our host was incredibly helpful and provided great local tips, making our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy and convenient stay in Lucca!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely accommodation in beautiful surroundings very much. Kate was very helpful and communicative. She very kindly left us some food (and Prosecco!) as our flight was delayed which meant we missed the supermarket visit prior to checking in. She made recommendations for thermal baths when we showed interest in these and she delivered a little bottle of delicious limoncello as an extra treat during our 5-night stay! The view from the pool is amazing and swimming and lounging on the sun beds in that area were very relaxing. The drive to the accommodation is quite challenging up a narrow, steep mountain road with hairpin bends, which did give us the willies when driving there, especially in the dark! But all in all a wonderful stay - thank you!

Der Aufenthalt bei Antonella war sehr schön, wir waren 10 Tage bei ihr. Die ruhige Lage und auch der an der Ferienwohnung angrenzende Pool haben zum Wohlfühlen eingeladen. Antonella ist sehr freundlich und hat uns Empfehlungen für die Zeit in der Toskana gegeben.

Our stay with Miriam was absolutely wonderful! Right from the start, the personal welcome made a big difference – Miriam was always available and greeted us in person, which was such a nice and rare touch these days. The apartment is beautifully and lovingly decorated, with so much attention to detail. We were especially impressed to find a thoughtful selection of basics already in the fridge – something you don’t see often! We felt completely at home – it honestly felt just like our own place. Without a doubt, this was the best Airbnb experience we’ve had in over 10 years! Thank you so much, Miriam – we’d love to come back!

Jacopo's place was beautiful with lots of gorgeous things on display on the shelves. The kitchen was well equipped, (I even had a tea pot for my loose leaf tea) the bed was large and comfy and although the shower room was small, it was fine for us. Very stylish apartment that was very quiet for its location right on Piazza San Romana opposite the old deconsecrated church which now holds performances. Jacopo left us the card for recycling and some water and coffee when we arrived. I would definitely stay here again, as it's the perfect place for summer, but perhaps less in winter as it suffers from damp. Lucca itself is also gorgeous and the flowers were blooming everywhere, so it smelled amazing!

Highly recommend anyone new to Italy to try San gimigano first. Staying here allowed us flexibility to explore other cities and had plenty of great spots in walking distance. Lorenzo provided fantastic recommendations and assisted with everything we asked for.

Frederico’s place was amazing. It is very spacious and well laid out. A full laundry and kitchen were a real treat for travellers. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again . Highly recommend.

Een onvergetelijke ervaring. Een perfect verblijf om samen met je beste vrienden te boeken: een bijzonder sfeervol ingericht huisje met een zeer gezellige woonkeuken. Er stond zelfs een schaal met heerlijke verse eitjes voor het ontbijt voor ons klaar. Alles werkte en niets was kapot of verwaarloosd. Beide slaapkamers met aangrenzende badkamers perfect in orde. Zelden zo'n lekker bed gehad. Kraakhelder, fris en prima matrassen. Het uitzicht was echt fenomenaal. Daar hebben we zo van genoten. Het zwembad was helaas nog niet geopend, daarvoor waren we nog te vroeg in het seizoen. We komen hier zeker nog eens terug. Het was een prima uitvalsbasis voor de grotere steden in de omgeving. Kortom; wij hebben afgelopen 5 dagen optimaal genoten met z'n vieren! Zeker een aanrader en in alles de moeite dubbel en dwars waard.

Die Wohnung übertraf unsere Vorstellung, sie war noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Die Kommunikation zwischen Veronika und uns lief super. Die Kids haben jeden Morgen am Küchenfenster mit Ausblick gefrühstückt ❤️ wir würden immer wieder kommen. Perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Florenz, Lucca, Pistoia, Pisa etc. Montecatini alto ist mit einer Bahn "Funicolare" zu erreichen. Diese ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß von der Unterkunft entfernt.

Great place, great hosts, great location. The photos and information provided is exactly as the hosts describe. All essentials were provided and the personal details were lovely. Check in/out was easy, communication was great, my only issue is that I wish we were staying longer. Highly recommend! Oh and the homemade pie waiting for us when we arrived was delicious!

Absolutely fabulous stay in Volegno! Mariangela was a superb host who met us at the bottom of the village to transport our luggage to the apartment. The pictures do not do it justice; everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for self catering, a great gas hob, lovely coffee pods for the espresso machine, and the most beautiful terrace overlooking the mountains! We can’t fault our holiday, it was truly special!

L’appartamento è in un ottima posizione, si arriva in cinque minuti a piedi praticamente ovunque e ci sono ottime possibilità di parcheggio nelle immediate vicinanze. Fabrizio oltre essere molto amichevole , é sempre disponibile per informazioni e consigli. Posto consigliatissimo per soggiornare.

Eine tolle Wohnung an einem ganz besonderen Ort! Wir haben die Ruhe und den wunderschönen Garten sehr genossen. Jacobo war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit, hat uns mit allem versorgt was wir brauchten und tolle Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Die Wohnung ist ausgesprochen komfortabel, das Bett super und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Wir waren viel auf der schönen Terasse und haben den Blick in den Garten und das Zwitschern der Vögel genossen. Es gibt eine coole Hängematte zum Entspannen im Garten. Die Lage ist gut um Pisa, Lucca und Florenz zu erreichen. Außerdem gibt es sehr nette kleinere Orte in der Umgebung. Alles in allem hatten wir eine wunderschöne Zeit.

Lucca was amazing, and we loved the apartment. It was just right and in a perfect location. It was very comfortable with amazing views of the city and clock tower. Lots of helpful information was available, and we could walk anywhere inside the walled center in just minutes. Our host Cristina was very nice and communicative. We would gladly stay there again. We definitely want to visit Lucca again in the future.

We had a great time in Lido Di Camaiore. Iacopo's appartment is superb. Located one block from the beach (literally 2 minutes), it was ideal to walk to and from the beach. From the penthouse appartment, you have a great view on the Ocean and the beach. It's comfy with 2 full bathrooms and 2 large rooms. The pictures are representative of the appartment. Thanks!

My husband and I had a wonderful 2 week stay in Helene’s apartment! It was well located and easy to get to shopping, restaurants, groceries, etc. It was also well located for day trips throughout Tuscany - by train and through private tours we booked. Helene was very responsive throughout the entire process. Tania coordinated the details for our arrival. Nicole met us and gave us a quick tour of the apartment as well as recommendations for grocery stores and sightseeing. She was also very responsive to needs and questions we had throughout our stay. We found it to be a very relaxing and inviting place to stay and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay in Lucca. Grazie Mille to Helene, Tania and Nicole!

We spent a week in this amazing place. Very clean accommodation, friendly hosts, I definitely recommend visiting the sauna. There is a very beautiful waterfall nearby. The house has its own territory. The hosts have impeccable taste, everything was provided.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Unterkunft war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir gebraucht haben. Alles lief reibungslos, gerne wieder!

It took a little work to find it, but wow what a reward awaits for those willing to make the effort. Patios with sweeping coastal views surround the entire amazing apartment. If you follow Gianni's instructions, you will get there! My only suggestion would be- bring backpacks or bags you can re-pack and carry from the parking lot if possible. Dragging suitcases along the very narrow/winding path to the apartment was a real challenge. If you are like us, Americans looking to get a taste of Italy away from our fellow countrymen, you couldn't pick a better place than Tellaro. I think we were the only Americans in town for the three days we were there. There are some great beaches nearby, but don't miss swimming off the rocks in town. And if you want to do a day trip to Cinque Terre, don't take the train from La Spezia, take the Cinque Terre boat from Lerici. You'll want to spend time in Porto Venere as well.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, wunderschöne Anlage mit grossem Garten/Pool und super Lage für Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung mit dem Auto (u.a. San Gimignano, Florenz, Siena) sowie gute Erreichbarkeit von Restaurants in der Umgebung (z.B. in San Gimignano). Das Appartement ist gut eingerichtet und mit dem Nötigsten für einige Tage Aufenthalt ausgestattet (auch Küche, Bad). Wir können die Unterkunft ohne Weiteres empfehlen. Einziger Punkt: hat man das Appartement im Haus des Gastgebers gebucht, muss man die Ringhörigkeit des Hauses (auch mitten in der Nacht) akzeptieren können.
