My friends and I had a great time at the house it had everything we needed and the Property Caretaker Don Pedro was very helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend Violetas house to stay in San Juan del Sur.

We stayed in the house next to the pool, the accommodation met all our expectations, it is very spacious, the kitchen had everything necessary to organize our meals and the views are spectacular. The rooms are a good size and well lit. We were also lucky enough to be able to participate in an event/meeting that John had organized and that included a very complete dinner in a super family atmosphere. I recommend asking John about his events and trying to coordinate your stay with one of them to live that experience too. Thank you for everything John, we will definitely be back!

Beautiful place and at walkable distance to the beach. It was pretty close to different attractions nearby. Jose, the caretaker was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price and we will definitely stay again when visiting Nicaragua.

The property is nestled in the heart of the Iguana community, close to the golf course. I truly enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. I fell in love with the design and the open layout of the living room, with its beautiful view of the trees. The local services are excellent—you can arrange for sourdough bread deliveries and pick up fresh fruit from the weekly market drop-off. I was able to work remotely with reliable Wi-Fi while still enjoying a fun surf vacation with friends. Aurelie was incredibly responsive and easy to reach, both by phone and in person at the property.

Casa Makai was a true jungle paradise! The house itself was beautifully designed, even better than the photos, with comfy beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was amazing, perfect for relaxing in the hammock. It's a short 10min walk to Playa Maderas (great for surfing) and 3 min walk to Buena Vista Surf Club (excellent yoga). Laura was a fantastic host, very accommodating. Highly recommend!

Hacienda Iguana is a great destination for surf vacationers. World-class waves are within walking distance. Air conditioners that could make ice cubes. A great reprieve from the tropical jungle heat. Local shops and restaurants with friendly staff. Anything you need you can rent or buy. Private and quiet. Monkeys in the trees. Iguanas crossing the roads. Thunderstorms create an amazing light show at night. 18-hole golf course on location if the waves die down. Victor and his helpers are great communicators and can offer suggestions for first-time visitors. As with most developing nations, there can be unexpected power outages. Fortunately, the place has backup power that can last for hours.

We loved the service, friendly staff and everything was very clean, the house was equipped with everything and super comfortable.

Great location, the apartment is exactly what I thought it would be, clean, nice, stylish, organized. Benjamin is very responsive and friendly! Can’t complain! I come often to SJDS and definitely will be back at this place! I recommend it 1000%

Corrin and Jacq were exceptional hosts. Always present and super attentive. The house, in turn, is perfect: excellent location, equipped with everything you need (and a little more) and extremely comfortable and pleasant. It was an amazing experience, which I recommend to everyone (especially those who surf, in view of the two “world class” waves located inside the condominium).

Great unit to stay. If you need to check out before 8:00 AM make sure you arrange it with the staff. I did not know this and it was a bit of a hassle to check out and had to leave 45 minutes later then I wanted to leave.

This is my second time staying with Miki and it definitely won't be the last. She is the best host you could ever ask for. She is always super responsive and proactive. The house itself is perfect for two people. The kitchen is well equipped to cook and Miki is always giving recommendations for local events. The apt is super close to the beach. The internet works great.

Our entire stay was spotless. Everything was tidy and clean. The house was super equipped, both in the kitchen and in each of the rooms. Hosts were 10/10. I recommend that they stay if they want to have an excellent stay in Hacienda Iguanas

The apartment is larger than expected. Secure parking. Comfortable and clean. It is located outside the touristy or expat part of the town, but is only a few minutes drive to get to all the restaurants and water front down town. We found an out of the way local owned restaurant that had great meals "Sabores de mi Patio" that is recommendable. The last part of the drive to the neighbourhood can be a little tricky, it was storming when we arrived. Use GPS and the photo of the front of the building on Airbnb to help find the exact house, because there is no sign. Very nice hosts. The husband of the owner speaks English if you need it.

Everything was clean and clearly well maintained, which made us feel comfortable and right at home from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed, yet tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful. The attention to detail throughout the property really stood out, from the tasteful decor to the thoughtful amenities. It’s worth noting how well-equipped the home is: it has a generator and water pump, so we never had to worry about any disruptions during our stay—huge peace of mind! Our host was super friendly and maintained excellent communication from booking through checkout. Every question we had was answered promptly and helpfully, and it was clear they truly care about providing a top-notch guest experience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a relaxing and reliable getaway!

Amazing Beach House! This place is absolutely wonderful. The house itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the location is spectacular—perfect for anyone who enjoys privacy and relaxation. It's just a short walk to some fantastic restaurants, which made our stay even better. We had such a great experience and will definitely be visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay in popoyo at Isabelle and Petrona's place. Peteona was on site to welcome us, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is very well equipped, located by the beach with restaurant and grocery store everything is on foot without problem. Directly next to the popoyo republic so you can music but nothing very intense. We enjoyed our stay we will be happy to come back!

Abraham and Carmen they were super hosts!!! Very friendly, attentive, and quick response. The apartment was same as the one in the pictures, everything as described. Sparkling clean, the swimming pool is nice, near to city centre, and many nice restaurants, also easy access to the different beaches. We stayed three days in Abraham’s apartment and it was very peaceful, we felt relaxed. We are definitely coming back again. We highly recommend Ocean Dream Apartments for their reasonable prices, cleanness, peaceful and around to many beautiful beaches.

Our stay at Salty Surf was fantastic! Emeline is a wonderful host, she has all the best tips for the area - Carolina (care taker) is very sweet and helpful too! The A/C in the bedroom worked great, bed was comfy and kitchen has all the basics for cooking. Beautiful spot on the beach, love having coffee listening to the ocean waves. Walking distance to a few good restaurants, coffee and groceries. Surfing is about a 15-20min walk away. Highly recommend this gem in Popoyo!

Great view when you wake up, the place is very quiet and clean. Great welcome.
