Welcome to Dark Sky House. Sitting at the crossroads of Scenic Byway 12 and Highway 24 Dark Sky House will afford you access to some of the greatest scenery in the world. A place of contemplative quiet, introspection and lasting stillness. It is a retreat into tranquility. Get creative. Catch up on reading. Bask in this placid place and its environs for renewal and restoration. Hike and explore during the day. Retreat at night to prepare a meal and immerse yourself in stargazing.

Torrey Pines 2

Private upper floor apartment amongst the pinions overlooking Torrey. Disc Golf Course on the property. Mountain and red rock views from the deck. Inside, there is a spacious living room with pull-out-bed sofa, full kitchen, 3/4 bathroom, laundry, and king bedroom. This comfortable apartment is tucked away in a central location near the intersection of highways 12 and 24. INTERNET FLUCTUATES! ZOOM, ETC, NOT POSSIBLE! Do not arrive before 3PM without permission. No pets.

Last Hurrah Main House

Two bedroom, queen in master, queen in 2nd bedroom, and couch in living room with a full. Like your house, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, glasses, refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee pot, washer and dryer. 145 acres and a mile of Colorado River frontage. Surrounded by thousands of acres and no neighbors. Lots of hiking, kayaks, usually a beach, side by sides, fossils, and wildlife. Seven additional rentals on the property if the main house doesn't fit your needs.

Economy "Tuff Shed" Cabin

We lovingly refer to our Economy cabins as "Tuff Shed" cabins. They are very basic with one Queen bed, a small TV, a desk, and a chair. The cabins have both heat and A/C. These are camp cabins, so there is no restroom or kitchen within the cabin. The restrooms, hot showers, drinking water, and a dishwashing sink is close by. Please note - We do not provide cooking facilities with this rental. No Pets Allowed. Checkout is 10:00 AM local time. No check-ins before 3 PM.

This bright, well-appointed 2BR/1BA split-level cabin sits on 20 acres at the base of Boulder Mountain, overlooking a tree-lined pasture and the stunning Cocks Comb in Fish Creek Cove. The open floor plan, high ceilings, and large windows accentuate the surrounding natural environment to create a true feeling of “being away.” Situated 15 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, this home provides a gateway to gorgeous hikes, waterfalls, and petroglyphs.

The Pinyon House is your home base while you explore the expansive red rocks and exhilarating surroundings of Capitol Reef country. The home is conveniently located in between Torrey Town and Capitol Reef National Park along the historic Highway 12, situated atop a desert bluff with stunning, 360-degree views out of every window. **If we are booked during your dates, check out our other A-frames next door, the Juniper House and Sage House.

The Farmhouse Cabin is a guest favorite! Sleeps up to 8 in beds including the futons. WiFi business office. Perfect place to work from your vacation. Playground for the children while you work. Secluded, quiet, and private. Close to Canyonlands, TV room, Full Kitchen, Dining Room, 2 big screen TV's, campfire bowl, sleeps up to 8. Central among more than a dozen state and national parks and monuments, and many ancient ruins.

A stunning cabin with a country western feel, and horse friendly. Large kitchen, new mattresses, large closets. Front and back yard decking. New barbeque grill in back yard privacy deck, and fire ring. Small grassy lawn in back. Horse lovers dream. Horses to view out the windows, or out walking. Plenty of parking space for all your four wheelers or razors.

Kokopelli’s Place

This single bedroom apartment has a private entrance, a queen bed in the bedroom, a hide-a-bed in the living room, a bathroom with spacious shower. Towels and bedding included. Fully equipped kitchen. Satellite TV. Washer and dryer. Internet. This apartment was originally built for my wheelchair-bound sister so it is totally handicapped accessible.
