Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in San Ignacio

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Massiss! Larry was traveling at the time but he was always available. Amini was an incredible host and always very helpful and friendly (hire her as your private chef while there!). The location is perfect. Very peaceful and surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature; and only a short drive to San Ignacio. Will definitely recommend!

We stayed for 3 nights and honestly didn’t want to leave! The house is absolutely stunning—luxurious, spotless, and it smelled amazing the moment we walked in. Frankie, the host, went above and beyond with thoughtful touches like a handwritten note, snacks, and fresh flowers in the bathroom. He was super responsive, incredibly accommodating, and just a genuinely kind and helpful person. It was also great to know he lives within walking distance. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and mornings on the deck were magical—we spotted parakeets and even toucans! The location is ideal: peaceful but close to town and tours (which Frankie can help you arrange). If you're visiting San Ignacio, do yourself a favor and stay here. We already want to come back!

Judy's place is great. You're with a few minutes of Xunantunich Mayan Ruins, great local restaraunts, and about an hour from Big Rock Falls, Monkey Falls and Rio Pools. The check in and check out process is super easy and her and her father super accomodating. Whether just visting the area or making a stop on your way to or from Guatemala (which the border is only minutes away) i recommend staying here.

There’s lots to be grateful for here, from us needing to check in hours earlier and that being a breeze, to the food left for us - very welcome after an overnight bus when we were hungry for breakfast. The AC and washer/dryer was a blessing, and we loved having a TV to watch stuff in the evening. Everything was clean and very well stocked. Occasionally we felt a little unsafe here, I think that was due to the building site around making us feel vulnerable and some of the internal door locks not working well. We also felt it needed a cosy touch, like a coffee table or some side tables to put a drink next to the sofa in the evening. Overall, this is a great stay in San Ignacio.

Great central place in San Ignacio for getting to other activities like the Mayan Ruins, natural swimming areas or the Butterfly ranch. Not walkable to town necessarily (busy roads, lotta hills) but there’s a grocery store close. The space is setup well for couples or friends. We loved the balcony and the hammock. If you are sensitive to heat, the main living room/kitchen during the warmer months is very hot. Be prepared to lounge in the bedrooms instead (AC is great in those) or get out and do things! Carlos, the host, is responsive, nice and helpful. Thanks for having us.

Stay at Los Zirecotes with Luis. If you would like a quiet, safe spot as a nice home base, you'll love Luis spot. We arrived late and Luis accommodated us well. He checked to see when we would arrive so that he could ensure we were comfortable. We appreciate Luis' responsiveness and his respect for our privacy. Our 2 bedroom unit was just the right fit. The separate baths, tv area and kitchen were just the right fit foenus and our 4 yr. old. Luis' place is in a quiet area. We felt safe and it was only minutes from town centre. Thanks Luis!

D's place was lovely. Raf was very kind and helped us with booking a tour to the caves last minute and even gave us info on our next trip to Guatamala. He is a gem and the place was exactly what we expected plus more. Book this place if you would like to explore San Ignacio in a prime location and feel safe. BONUS it us like a 2 min walk to huge grocery store and HODES place which is where all the buses drop off and pick up travelers. Thanks again Raf!

This place is very clean & nice! Only thing I would say that would be nice is better instructions for the tv & a fan for the living room. Other than that the place is a great place to stay!

Our visit to belize couldn’t have been more perfect due to kaylyyns place. We were blown away on how beautiful it was. It was the perfect location for us about 30 mins away from belmopan and 5 mins to spanish lookouts restaurants and market. The location was well taken care and breath taking with natural beauty. The home is well taken care of and most importantly to us CLEAN. Everything you can imagine is at your finger tips. She even had purified water for us upon arrival and was refilled a week later. She was super responsive and accommodating. If you’re looking to rent in this area don’t look any further you won’t be disappointed. We will 100% be recommending her home to our family and friends as we were only about 20 mins away from our family in belize.

This was such a lovely space and location. Wish I had stayed longer but will for sure book again here when I'm back in this area.

WOW!! If you’ve come across Jay’s place all I can say is “just book it!” The pictures don’t do it justice, this place is paradise on earth. We brought our family of six and enjoyed everything the Sanctuary had to offer. Jay is a 5 star host and walked us through every question we had! He was easily accessible and his staff were lovely! If you’re an avid kayaker, I would highly recommend asking Jay about his route down the Mopan River. It’s definitely not a beginner ride, but we made memories that we will never forget!!! We booked it for the water slide initially, but we got SO much more!! The local town is incredible. Friendly locals and great food. The Mayan temples are close by and a one of a kind experience. If you’re looking for authentic Belize and adventure this is your spot!

We stayed at this Airbnb for a wedding nearby, and it was the perfect choice. The location was super convenient, just a short drive from the venue, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. The area was calm and peaceful, making it a great place to unwind. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

The Macal home was quiet , private and peaceful right outside of town. My son loved the little dogs Cookie and Oreo on the property and often sat outside with them. The home had everything we needed during our stay to cook meals and relax at home. Some small additions like board games when it rained or reading lamps in the bedrooms would have been nice but not a big issue. What made our stay absolutely amazing was our wonderful host Corrina. She was always responsive whenever I messaged her and suggested tons of activities to do with my kids. Her directions to the place and suggestions of places to stop in for groceries was nice. I would definitely rent from her again!

Our stay with Alma’s was amazing ,home was clean felt like home our host was very responsive and helpful hassle free…close to town easy access to the river and market place ,the home was very comfortable and safe my family and I enjoyed every bit of it will 100% recommend Alma’s ❤️

Our stay at Riverside at Hillside – Riverfront Home @ RiverHill in Cristo Rey, Belize was truly unforgettable. The location is magical—perched on a hillside overlooking lush jungle with a peaceful river flowing below. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with everything we needed. Every detail made it feel cozy, inviting, and like a true home away from home. One of the highlights was the private swimming area down the hill along the river—it felt like our own hidden paradise, perfect for relaxing and taking in the natural beauty. The staff were incredible—so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Every view was stunning, from the vibrant tropical plants to the gentle sounds of the river and wildlife. It’s the kind of place that slows you down, helps you unwind, and surrounds you with peace and beauty. If you’re looking for a perfect escape to reconnect with nature while enjoying comfort and privacy, this is the place. We can’t wait to return!

We loved our stay! Everything was just like pictures. The guidebook they sent was so helpful. The bed was comfy. The plunge pool was great after a hot day hiking around. We loved going to the (very close) waterfall. We would definitely stay again. As they say, you do have to cross a stream to get to property, we had an suv and had no problems!
