Casa Maya

AndyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Alexander’s place was spotless, clean, and very comfortable! Perfect for two people. A/C and hot showers worked well. With Alexander’s help, we checked ourselves in and out, access worked perfectly. Keep in mind this house is in a residential neighborhood about a mile away from the main “tourist” part of town, but we found it very walkable and felt quite safe. Would highly recommend!

Cool Shade Mountain Top Suite

HeatherRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Beautiful, serene area. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy to find and get into unit. Extremely clean and uncluttered. Exactly as described with a small area to heat food. AC worked well. Good cell service in the area and solid Wi-Fi- the deck was a phenomenal place to get in a morning of work!

Ev's Place, Apartment #3 + Certified Gold Standard

PaulaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Carlos's place. We actually thought it was better in person than the pictures and it smelled so clean when we walked in. The washer and dryer was a bonus as well. We walked into the city for lunch (about 20 mins downhill to the San Ignacio Market area), but one night, we walked for dinner and realized we probably shouldn't walk back (mosquitoes, less street lights, uphill), so we messaged Carlos and he responded so quickly and had a taxi (who we subsequently used) to us at our specified "ready" time. He also gave restaurant recommendations. The AC worked really well in the bedrooms. There is no AC in the living room, so we used all 3 fans. It was still fairly warm in there, but I think because the door didn't close fully. There is a screen though, so you can open the door and let air in. Regardless, we loved our stay and the proximity to the city (quiet, but not far).

The Palm Tree House

FrederickRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Can't say enough positive things about Adrienne, place was exactly as described and perfect for a get away to San Ignacio. my girlfriend and I stayed for 4 nights, did Tikal, ATM Cave and Xunauntich. Easy walk downtown to local restaurants and bars. Highly recommend using Jam-Jam Tours for the ATM cave and Maya Walk for Tikal. Xunauntich is easy enough to take a taxi and view the grounds yourself (will save a lot of money) And make sure to check out Guava Limb, and Ko-Ox Han Nah for dinner. The Sports bar and Grill for cold beer and excellent conch device. Only thing I would say that might not be a plus is there's no kitchen (there is a fridge) so make sure you bring some cutlery if you get food to go! Adrienne even helped us get a ride from the airport and out of town on our way to Placencia

For the great price the place was a the perfect place to meet my needs. The location was close to many restaurants and where I needed to handle business. The owner was very responsive helpful and personable. The place was also very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Homely studio with private pool

KurtlanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
This place was extremely fascinating, uniquely cozy, and clean. The kitchen was well equipped for any cooked meal. The interior ac was nice and cold. The lights outside made the ambiance on the patio very relaxing and enjoyable. The pool was one of our favorite amenities to unwind with its lovely deck to enjoy the beautiful sunsets! Thank you Duane, for being so welcoming and nice. We will definitely be back and will recommend your place to everyone.

Cozy Yellow Cottage

FriedaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We really enjoyed our stay. This home was our home away from home. It was beautiful, cozy, and comfy. The beds were especially comfortable. There were a lot of hummingbirds and we got to enjoy seeing up to 8 monkeys on the back deck. Whenever we had a question Kaylynn responded quickly. Prior to our stay I inquired about a playpen and at first they didn't have one but she got us one before we arrived. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent it again.

Casa Xun

Great place. Jacqueline is a great communicator. There is hot water in the shower. It's a long walk from the main road, so if you aren't driving it is a bit out of the way. Otherwise, fantastic accommodation

Las Haciendas, Villa 4.

NikiRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved this villa! Would be the perfect honeymoon spot though our family of 6 felt right at home, too. It’s a group of villas professionally managed with staff on site, but still felt very private and comfortable. The villas all face a fenced in courtyard (Casa Blanca vibes) though we only saw one other group one time. They provided a water cooler with big blue jugs of water that was invaluable with all the hiking we did in the area. We even ran out and one quick message and they replaced it within 10 minutes. The whole villa was very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Can’t recommend it enough! We’re staying in Hopkins now and I can already tell our San Ignacio stay is going to be hard to beat.

The Haciendas

PattyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Las Haciendas was everything our group could have imagined and more. We rented all six Villas, so our group of 13 each had our own space. The villas were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Leda arranged transportation to the villa, excursions, transportation to dinners and anything else we needed! She had wonderful recommendations as well. She was very quick to respond before the trip, as well as while we were there. We were greeted with cool towels and all our luggage was taken care of the minute we got there until leaving the last day. The water coolers were a great perk and the plunge pools allowed us to chill after a long excursion day. It was walkable to Cachal Ruins as an extra afternoon trip. I would HIGHLY recommend Las Haciendas for your group stay while in San Ignacio!!!

Cascade Palm - Luxury Villa Pool & King Bed

HéloïseRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We had a wonderful 4 nights at Alma’s place! The villa was just like the pictures, very private and luxurious look. Alma and her team were extremely responsive and helpful, they booked the ATM cave tour for us, as well as private massage directly at the villa like we wanting even with a short notice . They gave very helpful recommendations for exploring the surroundings, which we used to drive to Caracol and in mountain pine ridge. The villa is not in a walkable area for restaurants and shops or activities, but very close by car. We would certainly book again !

Luxe Jungle Refuge Close to Town

AlisonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Beautiful home in a private location. Back porch/veranda was our favorite part of the house. Unique, beautiful decorations inside the house. Short walk to the river where you can wade or tube. No luck with fishing at the river. Must do the ATM cave tour and xunantunich site. Easy 10/15 minute drive to San Ignacio where there are great restaurants. Wonderful part of the country to visit. Feel lucky to have found this gem.
