Holiday rentals with a fireplace in San Frediano, Florence

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property just outside Florence. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, yet only a short drive to the center. The house was spotless, well-equipped, and full of character, with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. Antonio was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect base for exploring Florence and the surrounding area. Highly recommended—we would absolutely stay here again!

We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. I can not say enough about Alessandra and her amazing land! It was the most magical place we have ever been to. We are taking a 3 month trip, hitting up 21 cities in Europe and this is BY far the best! She was so kind and took us shopping and back to our train! She was always there when we needed her.thank you Alessandra we will see you next year!

After we arrived and were settled we were thrilled at the amazing views of the rolling hills. The landscape was breathtaking and the location was quite remote and peaceful. David was very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay! We would definitely come again!

Our family of four loved this home. Here’s what felt extra luxurious to us: a separate wing for the 22 yr old, 3 bathrooms, high quality bed linen and towels, ability to do laundry and cook, wine and goodies on arrival, and a beautiful and serene park view. Birdsong in the morning, fireflies in the evening, pure magic.

We loved our stay at Michaela’s house. The views were beautiful and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Great location, very short walk to the town or easy bus ride into the center of Florence. We will definitely be back!

Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful Airbnb which was thoughtfully restored to reflect the history of the area. You won’t want to leave. We explored Certaldo Alto and Montefioralle- both amazing sites. The pool area was perfection and we couldn’t get enough of the landscape! Couldn’t stayed a week!!!

I have no words for our stay here im so stunned on how stunning the place was. The hosts were so friendly and showed us around the area. The place was so peaceful (apart from the kids and teenagers but it made us feel at home). Really close to the city centre as well which is really helpful with being disabled! The pool was just what we needed too with how hot it was Thank you for having us! We'll miss the home and little Donut too <3

We had an amazing week in the villa. Even if hou have other people living there, you feel so calm and free. There is a designated spot for each appartements to eat so you can enjoy good time outside. The site is so clean and we ser that the host take good care of everything. We had a lot of recommandations to discover te surroundings and the host was so easy to reach when we needed. All the commodities were there, the appartement is well equiped. I strongly suggest to rent a car, it’s the easiest way to enjoy your stay there. I surely recommand this place and I would go back again.

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved Federica’s place. We were able to cook meals, do laundry, and re-charge for the next adventure. Very easy to explore Pistoia from here. If you bring a rental car just know that you’ll have to park in a public lot. We parked in a free lot that was a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend!

Simona’s apartment was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well-stocked, the entire space was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated having the washer/dryer combo—it made things so convenient.

Had the best experience with Luca and his team! They provided such attentive service and support for everything we needed before and after arrival. The penthouse is at the heart of Florence. Perfect location with spectacular view. Love the high ceilings and we had a great time there.

We stayed here for a few nights and had a fantastic time! The views were amazing, and the place was very spacious and clean. Lapo was fantastic - really helpful, even picking us up and dropping us back off at the bus stop. We'd highly recommend!

This was my favorite place I stayed while in Italy! Beautiful apartment with a wonderful little deck to sit on and enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine! You can literally see Santa Croce from the balcony. It was quiet, had a lovely little nook for sleeping and the bathroom was pristine. It also had all amenities for cooking. My only regret is that I was unable to go to Simone E Filippo's restaurant in the country, next time! I would stay here again! They were so nice letting me leave my luggage and even helped me carry up and down the stairs.

We loved our stay here. Right next to the Duomo and close to everything in Florence making it super easy to get around. Loved the inside of the apartment too and was overall amazing. Silvia was very helpful and great!

It is hard to find the superlatives to describe this absolutely wonderful villa. We spent 3 nights there with a group of 8 friends and really did not want to leave. The setting of the property is even more amazing than on the pictures: a shady terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with a pool in the middle, surrounded by lush hillsides and sweeping views of the valley beneath - all of this in complete calm, peace and quiet. Really, like in a dream. Moreover, the place is extremely well-equipped, with a separate BBQ room, pizza oven, changing rooms/towels/sunbeds for the pool area, extra-large fridge and full kitchen with all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless clean. You can also feel the attention to little details in all aspects of the villa. The location is quite remote, so better to come by car. Virginia and Daniela were super kind and delightful, + very easy to communicate with (they live in an attached house). They even offer dinner from locally grown food. Great stay!

This was just what I was looking for. A Tuscan villa in the hills with a rustic style outside but excellent on inside. There was more space than expected: 3 queen size rooms and one twin, with 3 bathrooms upstairs and one downstairs. The library in the living space looks great (although you have to read Italian). Modern kitchen and great facilities. One minor challenge is the 3.7k drive off the main road to get to the property a you get used to it! Loved listening to the Cuckoos and other birds from the veranda Tommaso was an excellent and helpful host.

Beautiful home with incredible views and pool! We were looked after by Lara and Remus and had a wonderful 10 days relaxing. Easy location from which to visit Florence whilst being a peaceful and calm location to stay.

Mimma and her husband were amazing. My wife and I really enjoyed staying here during our stay in Florence. Beautiful modern home with every thing in the house ready for you when you get there. Lots of room for our luggage’s. Tv was a big smart tv, lots of privacy and most importantly they were very professional and nice. It felt like being at home compared to other airbnbs we have stayed at. Might be a bit pricey but I can say it was 100% worth it. You won’t regret staying here. Thank you Mimma!!! Wow-10 days spent at Alec's villa and could have stayed longer! The age and beauty of this place makes you feel transported back in time. From the stone walls, the detailed wall paintings, furniture and decor, to the solid doors easily hundreds of years old... We spent hours just speaking of it's history. The house is clean, spacious, and had plenty of room for our family of 8. It is situated on a small family vineyard at the top of an incredibly windey road. There outdoor space was safe/secluded for my kids. The hill made for wonderful beautiful views and sunrise. However, as with much of Tuscany, we were glad our rental cars weren't too big! The closest town is 5 minutes away and has a few restaurants... Though not somewhere you can have coffee or walk the streets. About 15 minutes away is San Casciano where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, stores etc. Alec is a perfect host... helpful, responsive, and answered dozens of questions weekly. Book dinner at A Casa Mia for sure!

Incredible host and property. We feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay here. Cesare was beyond helpful with recommendations and flexible with our check in. Secluded, peaceful and a great place for making memories during our travels around Italy.

Beatrice was an amazing host. She was very responsive to our questions and always very helpful with suggestions and recommendations. This was the perfect place for our group of 8 adults for 2 weeks. The location was perfect for visiting various sites around Tuscany. Florence, Cortona, Siena and Pisa. The nearby town of Greve had some nice little restaurants for lunch/dinner. After a long day of sightseeing we would gather on the patio to have charcuterie and wine. Or gather at the family style dining table each evening. We highly recommend having Beatrice provide a home cooked meal, it was excellent! There are several wineries and olive oil tastings in the area. We took advantage of many of them. Overall we were very happy and very comfortable with our stay. We highly recommend staying here. If we ever come back we are definitely staying here again. You'll definitely get the true feel of Tuscany.

We've just returned from a fantastic 4 night stay at Gianmarco's lovely house. It's exactly as described. We visited as a family of 7 (5 adults and 2 very young children), the house catered for us perfectly. Lots of space, very clean, child friendly with all the right amenities and super peaceful. Gianmarco, his wife and their dog live on-site but we never heard from them unless we needed something or asked for advice - they were then super responsive. Gianmarco was very helpful and friendly in the build-up to our stay with local recommendations. We would return in a heartbeat. We used the house as a base to visit Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. A car is required to get around as the house is located in a semi-remote village (which has excellent shops and restaurants). Thanks so much Gianmarco!
