Waterfront holiday rentals in San Fernando Valley

This was a perfect place right across the beach, an easy walk near a bunch of great food places! Chris was very nice and welcoming. If I am ever in Santa Monica again this would be my first option!

We enjoyed our stay at Jonathan’s Friendly neighbors and really liked the location.

The place was exactly as described and we felt incredibly comfortable. They had a cute set up and the pool was clean. The host were lovely and efficient. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back.

The apartment was clean and had a terrific view. We loved the neighborhood and walked by the ocean everyday.

This place was exquisite! There was a lot of room to spread out and relax and to make ourselves at home. The host and cohost were very welcoming, responsive, and kind. The private garage was a huge bonus for security and convenience. The place was spotless and had everything we needed to make it ours for a week. The view is amazing and peaceful to sit back and sip a coffee in the morning. The street out front can be noisy with people cruising, but the host provides sound machines in every room, and little gift bags of ear plugs and a sleep mask (it looked like one, I didn’t open it as I travel with my own). They thought of everything. If I’m back in Long Beach again I’ll be looking to stay here before anywhere else.

Bradley’s place was in a perfect location. We felt safe walking to and from the home and everything was walkable! The restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, the local grocery store, and the beach! Bradley’s dad met us when we arrived at 3am via uber. He was the most welcoming, sweet and accommodating man. He helped us get in, showed us around and gave some recommendations for our stay. He even had a sweet gift for my daughter, knowing we were there to celebrate her birthday. The place was great! Clean and plenty of room. Stocked perfectly for our needs. Upon checkout, Robert (Brad’s dad) met us to say goodbye and gave us a bag he prepared filled with of treats for the girls for the plane ride. Truly, Robert is a blessing! My daughter and her friend said this was the best trip they have ever been on and meeting Robert was a big piece of that. Hoping to make our way back in the near future! Can’t say enough about the wonderful hospitality!

Jordans place was awesome!!🤙🤙 The locations is amazing, great vibes, and he was an excellent host. Made sure we had everything we needed, gave us some great advice, and the upper unit we stayed at was clean, comfy, and safe! Look no further…10/10 would return.

My family and I had a great time staying here. The beach is only steps away and walkable to great shops and restaurants. We would be happy to come back again sometime!

Nice studio close to the beach and the everything Malibu has to offer

This house was perfect for a a relaxing getaway, with so much available at the house. An amazing space and like other review say, it’s somehow even better than the pictures. The hosts are very considerate and responsive. Would love to come back some day!

I love the homeyness of the place and the outdoor spaces are unbeatable. The home has its quirks but that is to be understandable being by the beach and in a metro area. The bed and furniture are comfortable, the kitchen has what you need typically, and the garage is full of extra amenities including that very useful parking spot.

Victoria was an amazing host! Very communicative and such a kind heart. The fires were happening in the north and our friends we were meeting at her house, came in a day earlier and were staying in another hotel close to fires. She offered them to come a day early to get away from the smoke!! Her house was south of fires, so we were OK here. She then offered us a late checkout as our flight wasn't until 8pm at night. This was so welcome as we have young children. She really went above and beyond! Her place is very homely and great to be close to the beach. Thank you for everything Victoria :)

This is easily the favorite Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Only reason I contemplated leaving a review, is because I don’t want others to fill the slots 😂😂 Will definitely be back soon. Thank you to the hosts!

Kyle's place was great. It was actually roomier than expected and a very warm feel to it. Great ocean breeze and great views. Within a short distance to some very nice bars and restaurants (Liv's oysters we're fire!) I would definitely stay there again.

My family had a great stay! The house was amazing, the views and sliding patio doors to open up the house to the ocean was awesome. The house is secluded enough that it felt very private and quiet but still close enough to all the restaurants and stuff to do. We basically had that area of the beach all to ourselves throughout the whole stay. Also just across the Main Street, a 2 min walk you have access to the bay with beach and calm shallow waters for younger kids. We were all obsessed with this home and def plan on coming back. Host was amazing and helpful. Thanks again!

We had a great stay at Amanda's condo. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, which we really appreciated. The location of the condo is excellent and the views are spectacular. The beach is a very short walk from the condo, which is well equipped with beach chairs and other beach amenities. The Stand is also right down the Hill, where one can bike or job along the Ocean. There were also several very good restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Overall, it's a great place to stay with a very cool feel in a really beautiful setting in a location that has a cool vibe and makes us want to come back someday.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

We really enjoyed our stay at Yese's condo! It was very easy to find and get into the unit, and Yese provided clear instructions which included pictures for the parking garage. The unit itself was very clean and organized and had all of the basics! It was conveniently located for everything we had planned and within driving distance of a lot of local hotspots. Would definitely stay again, and recommend if you are looking to be in the MDR area!

My family and I had an amazing stay here at Linda’s beach house! Everything exceeded our expectations. The house is located right on the beach, which made it super convenient with our kids!! There is also beach gear available which was another a total life saver, we were able to use the stroller, bikes, beach toys, boogie boards and beach chairs 🙌🏼 my kids had so much fun, they didn’t want to go home 😂 The house was clean, comfortable, and had beautiful beach views. & Linda was a phenomenal host!! She was so kind, welcoming and communicative!! You can tell she truly cares about her guests having a great experience. By far the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back for another trip!!! 🫶🏻

Don't stay in one of the overpriced hotels in the area. This gem of an apartment was so much more roomier and more comfortable! Lots of thoughtful touches throughout, like places to plug in chargers, and hooks just where I wanted to hang my towel.

The only word I can say to describe Jim’s place is amazing. It really is. What an absolute privilege to stay in such a beautiful apartment on such a beautiful beach. The apartment had everything we needed and more, Jim was absolutely razor sharp responsive and when he nipped over to see us for an hour he left us feeling like we’d made a friend! What a great guy. Thank you, Jim. We’ll definitely be back.

Family get away with our adult “kids”. Perfect spot to enjoy the beach, close surf spots and walkable to local eateries. Pool and hot tub are a great add! Just the right place for us!
