Farmstay holiday rentals in San Antonio River

Our stay was comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and parking was easy. The barn is very clean and the wifi's fast. There isn't much outdoor space but there's plenty of floorspace so our son had room to play with legos and stretch out. The furniture is comfortable (big couches and and an easy chair); the bed is on the softer side. The AC and fans kept the place nice and cool. The kitchen had pots, pans, dishes etc so we could eat and cook. It's a short drive to the main downtown space in Boerne. Keep in mind it's an easy walk to the owner's pool in the backyard (not part of the accommodation), and there's a stepladder up to a loft space (not part of the accommodation), so if you're traveling with younger kids you'll want to keep a close eye on them that they don't get into these spaces.

We had an excellent stay, it had very beautiful surroundings with deer coming on the property in the mornings for a beautiful sunrise view

Vicki's place was amazing. It was beautiful and clean and quiet. So many details and thoughtful amenities. Beautiful shower and soaking tub and comfy bed. Her and cohosts were so sweet and able to accommodate me last minute which was much needed. Thank you guys so much

Wonderful country home, very peaceful and plenty of space for the family. Enjoyed the birds from the porch after work, really felt like home and could almost imagine the history this place has. Highly recommend booking here if you value comfort and warm hospitality.

We absolutely loved staying here! Super dog friendly and relaxing. The host Trinity was very kind and the owner Brad took us on the tour of the property which we really enjoyed. Our little one got to explore and feed goats! It was an awesome place to stay and we will definitely be returning!

This was my third time to stay at Big D Bunkhouse. Always clean, always comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect for what we needed. Wish the bass pond had more water, but you can't control mother nature. Thanks DeLynn for another wonderful stay.

Stayed here for a family vacation from the very start. The host was super responsive and proactive. The house was private and quiet and I absolutely loved it. Definitely recommend!

5 Stars – A Perfect Stay! This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful and incredibly well maintained. The attention to detail throughout the space was very impressive, it’s clear the host truly cares about creating a memorable experience. From the personalized welcome card to the homemade cookies, a bottle of wine, and even music playing as we walked in, everything set such a warm and inviting atmosphere. It was a great place to stay, and I would absolutely consider booking again. I’ll definitely be recommending this gem to family and friends!

Place was awesome! Private. Big enough for 2-3 ppl. Get for couples getaway! Animals were sooooo friendly, place was clean. Good tools and equipment to cook. Be aware of spiders, they weren’t bothering me. But they are there. Walked the path to the pigs, so adorable!!

Seguin is home. Was nice to come back for a visit. We enjoyed our stay at Shannon’s place. Very nice home. Lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable. Nice decor. Peaceful outside. Very homey. Loved the wood floors. Will stay again if in town. Conveniently located on the outside of town.

Sabine is an amazing host with a pristine listing that will impress you as soon as you walk through the door. I booked same day as I was traveling across the country with my dog and Sabine ensured that I had a peaceful stay. Sabine graciously the lights ensured the lights were on at the building for my late arrival which speaks volumes about the type of hospitality you will receive. It felt like I was pulling into my own drive way and I had total privacy. My dog and I were able to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. This listing inspired me to want to build something like it in the future! If you want to unwind and have an amazing host, a spacious place, and without worries; stop on over it’s well worth the visit!

We were actually pleasantly surprised that the home was even better than the photos! John was a fabulous host. He met us at the property to welcome us and gave us an overview of the whole place. We had 2 requests and John met our needs without blinking an eye. The home was well cared for and had everything we could possibly need and more! I would highly recommend the ranch and I will definitely return. Thank you John!!!

I would give it 10 stars if I could! The house and property are stunning. Every room was decked out with nice furniture and beautiful decor. The beds were very comfortable. I loved that almost every room had a T.V. Everything was clean. All the appliances are brand new and easy to use. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. We really enjoyed the game room! We would definitely go back again and again!

I stayed here in between day 1 and 2 of the MS150. Robert was extremely helpful and especially responsive when we had questions! It’s so warm and cozy and has anything and everything that I feel like most AirBnB’s I’ve stayed at don’t provide. It felt like I was staying in my own grandparents place. I would definitely recommend Robert’s place to anyone who wants a quiet getaway!

This place is amazing, we will definitely be back. It it located right off the river, the pictures are accurate. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are ice chests for usage and plenty of nice outside seating. The inside is immaculate and the outside scenery is beautiful. We woke up to deer in the window. It is secluded and private but not too far away from town, if you would like to venture out. I book tons of air bnbs on my work account and the hosts for this property are by far the best I have ever dealt with. They are responsive and send extremely detailed useful information regarding the property and information that list close restaurants and activities. We had a wonderful time with our family, I can’t wait to go back. Deserves more than 5 stars!

This was our second stay at the Ellison House. We gathered family and friends from across the country to celebrate our son’s first birthday, and the house could not have been more perfect. The hosts helped us plan the small event with easy to follow guidelines, and were always incredibly responsive and kind. The house itself is a unique treasure that is cozy, artistic, and modernly functional. We could not recommend it more and look forward to staying again next year.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the pool and our family as a whole enjoyed the remoteness. The house had all needed amenities and were helpful when we needed help working the spa. We had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

We loved our stay here! Lots of room in the cabin it’s self for everyone to have their own space. There were 5 of us. Walking the property was very peaceful! My kids and myself LOVED the animals. The cabin had everything we needed. Overall just an excellent experience!!

This property is one of a kind. Absolutely gorgeous. Peaceful. Rustic and interesting. The old pecan trees are huge and stately providing enough shade to enjoy the yard even during a hot Texas afternoon. The San Marcos river is a 5-minute drive away. The hosts were friendly and extremely accommodating. We will be back as often as we can!
