Antica casa rupestre abbarbicata alle pareti di roccia del colle San Matteo, ristrutturata ed ampliata per creare un rifugio del tempo, in cui dimenticarsi del mondo esterno, immergersi nella memoria e nella storia del luogo. Casa Corto Maltese ha un giardino segreto recintato ombroso e riservato con 2 antiche grotte e una terrazza prospicente l'ingresso da cui si domina l'intera Scicli. Tra le mura rocciose di questa casa ha preso corpo il romanzo "il Corvo di Pietra" di Marco Steiner.

This small and prestigious residence has been designed by its owner, the designer Margherita Rui, and crafted with meticulous attention to detail by the finest local artisans, respecting original materials. The residence is equipped with two double bedrooms and an open-space sofa bed, one bathroom, terraces with dining areas, a pool, outdoor shower, and a solarium.

Welcome to our holiday home in Sampieri, an authentic fishing village on Sicily’s stunning southern coast. The house is in a strategic location, just 250 meters from the beach and about a 10-minute walk from the village center. While everything is easily reachable on foot, the house is set in a quieter, more peaceful area, away from the summer hustle and bustle of the center, where parking can often be a challenge.

Retreat into nature with magnificent views

Magical stone hut built in 1818 lovingly converted with local materials into a simple, elegant home. Perched on a mountain ridge with valley vistas on all sides and a magnificent view into the Baroque town of Scicli with the sea beyond. A metal gate two fields away leads you into the land, where our neighbouring farmer grazes his cows and goats amongst the ancient carob grove.
