This airy house has an open-plan kitchen - living room with many artistic, original details in local recycled woods; terrace, outdoor dining, hammock & garden. You can walk anywhere in minutes (beach, restaurants, farmers market, etc) & go barefoot to the beach! NOTE: We also now have AC (as of July 2026)!

La Joya Escondida (the hidden jewel) is truly that. The house is situated up in the hills above Samara. We are a 3 minute drive to town and the beach. Enjoy the fresh breeze, views and quiet of being up in the hills. The treetop canopy is spread out before you all the way to the ocean. The Howler monkey's treetop network is quite literally your backyard. It's the best of both worlds.
