Holiday houses in Salt Fork Lake

I wish there were 6 stars! One of the best glamping experiences we’ve had to date, The Bombay Cottage was such a delight. We felt tucked away in the woods all weekend and it was so peaceful. The outdoor kitchen was literally a chefs kiss and we loved preparing all our meals with ease. We were close to all the scenic drives we love and visited Berlin for some baked goods. Diana was so lovely and helpful, every detail is thought out with intention and we loved that. Will definitely be back! PS Spirit spent most of Saturday evening with us and we adore him! 🐾

Wow I can not recommend this cabin enough! I wish I could give more then 5 stars. We had such a relaxing weekend! This is the best rental we have ever stayed. You will not find a better host! All the extra little details just make this the best. We loved everything I have nothing I would change. We can not wait to come back. Great area super close to town but you are still out in the peace and quiet. Great directions and really easy to find. Thank you so much for the wonderful getaway!!

I absolutely loved this cottage! As soon as you walked in, you immediately felt welcomed! From the warm tones of the cottage to the scenic views from the windows, everything was perfect! It blended vintage American and European culture beautifully! It was a perfect place for a cozy weekend getaway. I would highly recommend this cottage!

Kelly and I highly recommend The Utopia at Paradise Lake. From the moment we pulled up, it felt like stepping into a postcard. The cabin is beautifully designed—modern, clean, and cozy with thoughtful touches throughout. The lake view is absolutely stunning. We spent our mornings sipping coffee and eating breakfast on the deck overlooking the lake. The kayaks were a huge bonus as we spent the day in the lake taking in the beautiful day, and connecting with the adorable turtles. The host, Jennifer was kind and responsive—making sure everything was perfect. The whole experience felt peaceful, restorative, and just… easy. If you’re looking for a quiet escape to reconnect with nature (and yourself), this place is a dream. We’re already planning our return trip!

We spent 3 nights at The Roost for our anniversary. We got into town sooner than expected, and Ryan was gracious enough to let us check in early. This cute, cozy cabin was great! It is a small space with lots of charm! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. It was very peaceful sitting on the deck and watching the foxes play! Definitely try the Grub and Pub, the wings are phenomenal and the people are super friendly! We would definitely stay again!

Kathy’s cabin was a great peaceful get away in Amish country. Directions made it very easy to find and everything was as described. We really enjoyed doing some bird watching from the front porch, and loved having the wood stove inside on one particularly chilly evening.

Very unique house in a beautiful area, close to Athens, Hocking Hills, and Nelsonville (we were in town for a concert), but feels very remote and quiet. The house had everything we needed, along with a nice trail around the property. We used David's list of recommendations for Athens restaurants and had a good time at each.
