Cabin holiday rentals in Salmon River

My husband and I stayed here for a couple days and it was a wonderful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city! There is a beautiful view of the middle fork of the Payette River, especially from the second stories windows. There were quite a few people floating the river the first day we were there, but the house is so well insulated that you couldn't hear any noise from the river or street when you are inside, which made it very peaceful. The home had everything we needed to have a great stay and was very clean. The Wifi worked well enough for my husband to dial in to a couple of work calls the morning we left, which was great. The hot tub was a lot of fun because it added something else to do at the property so we could just relax without going anywhere. There were plenty of board games, a cool XBOX nook, and books to enjoy as well. I didn't open my computer the whole time we were there! We plan to book it again and bring our two kids next time. Our stay at Natasha's house has been spectacular. It is a house that is conditioned for small children, it has a baby gate so that the children don't access the stairs, it also has a high chair for a baby to eat and toys for them. It is a 5 minute drive from downtown where you have supermarkets and restaurants, the location is really very good. Thank you very much Natasha! everything has been excellent.

This was just the getaway we needed. The space was unique and fun. Sara was responsive and took care of any issues right away. She made sure we were comfortable and was very accommodating. We hope to stay here again soon!

Our stay at Collin's place was perfect. Super clean house, with peaceful, attractive surroundings. Close proximity to trails to hike, fishing spots, and grocery stores. We rarely heard any noise from the road, which was a concern prior to booking. Not an issue at all. Wildlife visited most everyday. There was a minor hiccup at the beginning of the trip, and Collin took care of it immediately. In fact, he went above and beyond in my opinion. Whenever we had a question, or need some guidance, he was always quick to respond. Excellent place and host. Wouldn't hesitate to return, in fact, we probably will.

The cabin is well-appointed, blending rustic charm with modern conveniences. The beds are comfortable, and large windows bring in lots of natural light. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch or stargazing by the fire pit, the atmosphere is tranquil and rejuvenating. We really enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi on the spacious patio. Our kids enjoyed all the games they had around the cabin, it kept them very busy. The host is responsive and provides clear instructions, ensuring a smooth stay. It was the perfect little getaway for our family and friends. We left feeling refreshed and would gladly return. Highly recommend!

Lisa was very responsive with our requests, from pre-booking to check in. It was winter and there had been a lot of snow. Lisa checked in to make sure we were aware of the snow and that they were preparing the driveway and walkways. The house is absolutely beautiful! The view out the A-frame windows of the open living room are beautiful. The forest and wildlife themed decorations are very well done. Everywhere you turn there seems to be a bear, a moose or an antler, but not over the top at all. The beds are super comfortable, and there are plenty of towels, pillows, etc. The hot tub has a wonderful view of the forest behind the house and feels quite private. The kitchen is very spacious and very well appointed with just about anything you would need, even a wine aerator! It is a 10 minute drive to downtown McCall and the McCall Activity Barn is on the way.

We really enjoyed our time! The property was very beautiful and the location made it very easy to drive to and from McCall all hours of the day. The host provided great instructions which made for a smooth check-in and check-out.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house has such a cozy, welcoming feel, and the river view is simply beautiful. This place truly brings you so much peace. It’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind, surrounded by nature! If we had to mention one small thing, it would be that the bed wasn’t the most comfortable for us — but everything else about the stay more than made up for it. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

Ragan’s place on the river was to die for! It actually exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Riggins the first week of June so the weather was perfect! First thing in the morning would be a cool brisk air on the deck and around 70 rest of the day. We couldn’t have asked for better weather for all our hiking and exploring. Early June meant high waters and cold water but that didn’t stop us from rafting. Which we highly recommend! Ragan was the best host we have ever had! She was always happy to answer any of our questions prepping for the trip and during our stay. Head out on Salmon river Road, right on French Creek and right on Warren Wagon Road for a scenic getaway! It took us about 4 hours but led to a beautiful lake and then McCall. We were told by a local that this trip and around Secesh Summit are your best chance at seeing big game! We are already planning our next trip!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Conner, MT. The view from the property was truly breathtaking—perfect for relaxing mornings and peaceful evenings. The cabin itself was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable 5-day stay. Lynda was incredibly sweet and attentive. She was close by and quick to respond to any questions or needs we had, which made the whole experience feel seamless and welcoming. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature and hosted by someone who truly cares, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin all the time especially near by the fireplace. Very peaceful surroundings. Deers were coming a few times to property and my kids were so excited to them being that close. Thankful to the host that she let us stay with my whole family.

It’s easy to write how beautiful the Salmon, ID area is because it is. So easy to feel small. And that’s important. Cozy cabin a few miles outside of town. Clean. Very clean. Quiet. Two bathrooms and four beds. Can easily accomodate 4 grown men, because it did. The kitchen was awesome. And usable. If you wanted to cook most of your meals there it would be very easy. We had a great stay and can happily recommend without hesitation. Enjoy!

The cabin was adorable, and the view was amazing! We had all of the comforts of home. We loved sitting on the back deck bird watching. An Elk cow even popped out on our last morning! It was truly the getaway that we were looking for!

Such a wonderful stay! We are already planning ways to come back. Being right along the river was absolutely gorgeous and calming. We cold plunged everyday! We enjoyed having a fire in the fire pit and playing the provided games as a family, too. Beautiful location, felt away from town but still very close (10-15 min drive) into Salmon and the grocery store if needed. Adam and Amber were great hosts! We would recommend this place to anyone (but also want to keep it a secret 😆) Thank you!!

This cozy little cabin is truly a hidden gem! Nestled on top of a quiet mountainside overlooking a beautiful lake, it was everything we needed for a peaceful escape. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely surrounded by nature’s calm—birds chirping, a gentle breeze rustling through the trees, and the sweet scent of blooming lilac bushes drifting through the air. The cabin itself was warm, welcoming, and perfectly appointed with everything I needed and decorated of cute bears and fishing poles. Mornings on the porch were absolutely magical, sipping coffee while watching the sun rise over the mountain , with nothing but the sounds of nature all around. The short walk down to the lake was like a dream—serene, scenic, and soul-soothing. Ending the day with a cozy campfire was lovely with the provided firepit.

Quiet neighborhood, loved the nice big windows. Place was comfortable and open.

Our stay in North Fork at Megan's house was wonderful. It is a cute, historic property in an area rich in wildlife. We saw elk right next to the house on the hill in the evenings. Everything was well-explained and the house was very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend and will stay again next year!

This little cabin on the water was just what we needed. You can walk to the lake, restaurants, and down to the river in the backyard. We felt right at home and enjoyed every aspect of this place. We’ve been to McCall several times but have never felt so comfortable. We will definitely be booking this again, and I encourage everyone to enjoy this space!

Hands down the best Air BnB we’ve stayed at! My husband and I stayed a weekend for our first wedding anniversary and we were immediately blown away by how clean and well-stocked everything was! There’s nothing we couldn’t find in the kitchen for the meals we cooked. Towels, supplies, and gear were plentiful as well! We were greeted with a handwritten card and goodie plate for our anniversary and the rule binder was written in a very friendly tone with lots of helpful recommendations and instructions! The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and full of beautiful birds and flowers. Our first morning there, I met Arthur and had a friendly chat. He made sure we had everything we needed and let us know they’re always available if new needs arise. The location is a short drive from many natural attractions and businesses. We used the provided fishing poles for a day out at the Lowman Fishing Ponds and had a great time! I would stay there forever if I could. We had such a perfect trip.

This was the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in. It is an absolutely beautiful home and location. We had family visiting from out of state and everyone loved their stay here and the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Paul was also super responsive and helpful during the entirety of our stay. We would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and truly no detail was missed. The linens were fully stocked and smelled amazing—which means a lot to me and really added to the comfort of our stay. The area was amazing—so peaceful and scenic. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early due to unexpected car trouble, but the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful in assisting us through the situation. We’re so grateful and we will be back again! Highly recommend!
